She had just been bathed (at no charge) & was still a little damp. It was so nice to pick her up fresh & clean. We have used Green Beagle for the past 2.5 years to broad our dog. We were very happy with the…read moreservice until today. We had to emergently cancel a reservation and we're informed we would be "generously" charged 50% of the total fee because we cancelled within 14 days of a holiday (Easter). The cancellation policy on their web page states the high season is between Memorial Day and Labor Day, and cancellation within 14 days will result in a 50% charge of the total boarding fee. All other holidays, including Easter, are subject to keeping the deposit, which could be used for future services. I think this is a fair cancellation policy, but I was not offered this option. When I challenged the manager on violating their own policy, I was offered was 25% of the total boarding fee, which amounts to $190, not the deposit we paid, which was $0. I am very disappointed in their deceptive business practices and violating their own policy. I will dispute the credit card charge and fight to get every dollar back. Also, I caution anyone who is considering Green Beagle Lodge to carefully reconsider and find another, more reputable place to board your pet.

Happy Camper took the time to talk with us, ask important questions, and stop by the house to meet our pets while we were still in town. We were happy to know that our cats already had interacted with Kim before she came over for the first time to feed and play with them while we were out of town. Kim has always been very loving and caring with our cats, organized and communicative and we have really appreciated her dedication to our own loved ones. Meeting Kim and Happy Camper really helped us in our early days as new residents in Chapel Hill. I recommend contacting Kim if you want to ensure your pets are well taken care of while you're away!

Melissa and Stacey were his primary caregivers. They looked after our sweet boy with such care, showering him with love and treats while we were at work. They always sent the sweetest pictures of him and updated us with how he was doing. On two occasions BCPS looked after him while we were out of town. They accommodated our timeframe requests for the number of visits we wanted him to have, administered his medication, catered to his picky eating habits, and showered him with lots of love. BCPS always had excellent communication and put us at ease when we were on trips. When our boy passed away last year, BCPS grieved along with us and sent the sweetest sympathy card in the mail. It meant so much. When the time is right, we will adopt another dog and will absolutely work with BCPS again. They are amazing.
