It is very close to being the most northwestern spot in the State. You are super close to the border with Manitoba, Canada in some seriously flat land. You know they must be good if they get distribution to a city over six hours away. Was impressed with the couple I had here at home and also impressed with what I had up there. Sours and IPA's seem to be their specialties. My two favorite styles. They are the Barrel Theory of Northern MN. Would be there constantly if it didn't require so much gas money and a hotel stay.

I'll admit, the burger portion isn't the biggest, but it was certainly quality over quantity in terms of its juiciness. Their lemonade though, oh my goodness it was delicious, and it was definitely squeezed with fresh lemons. The outdoor seating can get infested with flies, which is something you'll have to live with if eating at those bench tables. There is a salad and soup bar that I'm told is open from 11am until about 7pm daily. It was closed when I arrived. I ordered the 3 piece chicken dinner to go that was ready in 20 minutes. The server was very pleasant to deal with. The chicken was well cooked with the skin quite crusty. I substituted potato wedges for fries and they were excellent. They gave me one sour cream that was not enough. Next time I'll get 4. It included a roll and butter. It also came with cole slaw that was really tiny, about three bites. It should have been a larger portion at least 6x bigger. That really cheapened this dinner that cost me over $20. The place is rather expensive for what is a diner. I'm surprised they charge the same prices for take out as eat in. They don't have the extra dining room expenses for customers that come and go. That also rather cheapened the experience. Overall a good place and I'll return but not often because it is rather expensive.
