Let me start off by saying I never do this. Like, for real though, ha.
But this is important.
I'm a frequent costumer. My "home store" is 800 Leonard 49504 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It's like a mile from my house, very convenient. Staff is great.
Today, I went to the location on Lake Michigan Drive as it was on my route running errands.
Again, staff was great. My issue is with the manager, so to speak.
During checkout a man walked into the store, stopped and addressed the woman checking me out.
"Do I need a mask?" Obviously he wasn't wearing one. The associate replied, to my surprise, " no you're alright."
.......?!
Followed by another associate near by saying "it's recommended."
Obviously the individual I was working with has no say over this foolish policy. But she could read my face. Or should I say eyes, as I was wearing one. She followed up with "it's the managers decision. They were worried about people getting mad about having to wear one."
SO! The reason for my email... WHAT ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS WHO GET ANGRY ABOUT MASKS NOT BEING ENFORCED.
This "manager" has their priorities upside down.
Walgreens, sit up straight and make everyone wear a mask.
