If I could give this business ZERO stars, I would!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I added photos…read more I came into this store to buy a package of hair just for a quick hairstyle. The price on the hair said $19.99 but I get to the register to find out that I have to pay $24.99 before tax. The owners wife, who is standing there with a dumbfounded look, says she doesn't know how that price got there. Like what? So I say obviously it is one of you guys' employees because I sure didn't put that there. She calls her husband and I called over one of the employees to show them that the package of hair I had and all the ones similar to it, are priced for $19.99. The owner(husband) comes with me to say he needs to check to just argue with me tell its not his problem and that he is selling it for the price of $24.99. He blames the prices being incorrect on the girl who is there in the store with us saying she is new, doesn't know what she is doing, and just puts tags on everything . So I went off on him. First of all, it is your problem as the owner who is always there anyway, to double check that the prices are what they should be. It's unacceptable to openly blame the employee and then get mad at me for wanting the hair for what the price tag on it says. I can see 1 item being priced wrong but come on 3+ plus items of the same all with the wrong price tag. Nobody including the young girl employee should be spoken that way. Stand behind your employee and correct the mistake. You come into a diverse town where the majority of the people living here are African American and Caucasian, set up shop and get so disrespectful. African and Americans and other people of color are the main people spending their money in your store. and then you have two people of color working underneath while talking to them like garbage. I don't see your kind in that store, working to help you or making any purchases there. Don't bite the hands that feed you. To the young employee, with love, remember the words I gave to you today.

I love this store. They have amazing prices and everytime I go in the people working are so kind…read more They have everything from make up to cellphone accessories to the most beautiful hair accessories.

I much preferred the prior business. The single most important thing to this business is charging you $34 for a picture of your eye that's not covered by insurance. This became evident as soon as I scheduled a couple appointments and started getting texts and emails about the (mandatory) $34 test not covered by insurance. Multiple texts and emails whose primary focus was this $34 fee. That should have been my red flag! The former business also "pushed" these pictures but allowed you to opt out. Not anymore. My fiancé decided to cancel her appointment for this reason alone and went to a different local chain instead for her exam, glasses and contacts (and had a better experience than me). I checked in and was called after a brief wait. First a young lady gave me some tests and took pictures of my eyes with different machines (including the $34 one!). She was both friendly and professional. Then she moved me along to another room where I waited for the Dr. The Dr. Came in and did the normal eye exams we've all had; read the lines larger to smaller and then the game of "is this way clearer, or this way". She was leading me to the answers which was weird ("this one is better, right?"). She somewhat rushed through that and reached the end of the exam, but none of the options as I was going through the exam seemed to give me crisp sight. At the very end she gave me a pair of glasses to try with the new script and things weren't crisp and I told her so. She said that's because I have cataracts which make it cloudy. I was stumped because I've had cataracts for years but never had blurred vision with corrective glasses. I ordered new lenses to be put in my old frames and was told they'll be ready in about a week (LensCrafters no longer has on site labs). My lenses cost $90 and the exam was $84 ($50 co-pay + $34 picture). When I picked up my glasses they didn't seem to help. I tried them for a wee with sane result so called for a re-check to see if they got my script right. It was suggested I see a different Dr this time and I did like this one better (young Asian lady). She said my script wasn't correct but also my Cataracts in 1 eye prevent it from being corrected to 20/20. She referred me to an Ophthalmologist who "might have some tricks" to get my eyes to 20/20 or can discuss cataracts surgery. I know this is a long review but my lesson and advice is to go to a "real" ophthalmologist or optometrist next time and not this small chain in the back of LensCrafters. I don't like the practice at all and now Lens Crafters, without a lab brings nothing to the table the online or discount eyeglass shops don't. When your focus is $34 and not patients or in this case patients eyesight , this is what happens.
