It was definitely a step back in time as we saw an original Radio Flyer wagon, pedal car and Schwinn bikes. As a child this was the store to visit for toys, lawn equipment, tools and more. It is still the same store except this one is connected to a furniture store next door. I was always puzzled by this store because they seemed to carry everything but auto supplies. At least that was my perception as a child. This is the typical "small town one stop" store that carries so much more than you would ever expect. According to the employee the current owner's father opened this store in the early 1960's and I doubt that much has changed in terms of the inventory and set up. Personally, I think it needs a woman's touch but that's just me! It is still a cool old school store!
