this is one f..ked up walgreens! they misplace your medicine an act as though it's no big deal! they changed their hours till 10:00 p.m. instead of 9:00 p.m. and then shortly after when everyone got used to the 10:00 p.m. closure, they change it back to 9:00 p.m.!!! wtf??? read more

This walgreen pharmacy is the worse. Walgreens Pinellas ave, Tarpon springs Always a long wait to get your meds and calling in to talk to someone is even worse. First call waited 20 min and hung up. 2nd call over 30min and still no answer. Quality assurance is terrible. Picked up paxlovid and it was expired by 3 months. Get it together.... They didn't have meds in stock so they told me they would order it. Then on the day it was supposed to be ready they said they didn't order it because they didn't have my insurance on file. I told them I would bring it in person & then they said it would take another 2 days to get the prescription in. After calmly expressing that they had already told me it had been two days the lady seemed defensive and short fused "Don't forget, today is Saturday... two days would be Monday" I'm pretty sure I know what day it is and how to count. The people working at the pharmacy are all rude and miserable! All the reviews say the same so u know it's not just me!! Seriously they all need to be fired and start over because at this point they are rubbing off on each other!! While I was waiting for my meds they were rude with everyone in some way! Absolutely the worst pharmacy of all time medication called in after surgery in the morning and still not ready twice after waiting all day for medications still do not have it ready and instead say pharmacist is on lunch! I'm allergic to an ingredient that is common in most Prescription drugs. My doctor submitted a prescription to them and they keep substituting the common form of this drug that has glycerin Ive talked to 2 different Pharmacists And both of them assured me that there was no glycerin in the prescription I was picking up. They both lied to me. I'm in the process of trying to get my prescription changed to another Pharmacy this is ridiculous the total lack of disregard for my allergy. read more

This Walgreens location is the most racist and unprofessional pharmaceutical staff. They'll rather lie and act as if they've ran your insurance (ONLY if your Black or Hispanic) and then tell you that your insurance isn't working. They speak to you as if your trash and they don't care if you need you medications (& them not doing their job, properly running your xxxxing insurance and trying to assist you professionally is a problem). They need to shut this location down and pour ever one of those in pharmacy on a do not rehire list. This is my usual store where I spend lots of $. Scheduled on the app for a shingles shot. Arrived on time but an hour wait with several patrons arriving later than me but taken sooner. When I asked if I had been skipped an irritated female heavy-set Pharmacist with very long hair (didn't get her name but should have) came out and was very abrupt and rude to me. Gave me quite the jab in the arm with no warning. I usually don't have issues with shots. She had nothing kind to say and no near apology for the long wait. Perhaps their pharmacists shouldn't give shots or maybe get them some customer service training! read more

Popped in to get myself a diet coke since I was on the way home, and found out that they had a few of the Disney Collection items in their Cosmetics Area. I wound up getting the villain's hair ties and a Maleficent make up bag. I hope they get the Elf Sets in soon! At Tarpon Springs location: Went to pick up two refills of prescriptions for a friend that had been ordered well in advance and had a number of refills authorized on original script. Neither were ready and pharmacy tech was going to refuse to put thru a refill order because I didn't know the two doctor's names and mentioned the primary care doctor. She told me I had to bring in a new script! At 3:30 on a Friday afternoon! Not willing for my friend to go all weekend without much needed meds, I told her I didn't care which doctor it is, my friend needs the pills. Only then did she put the order thru and my friend picked them up later that day. I have never had refills refused at any pharmacy if a number of refills by a certain valid date, is on the original order! read more

I have to agree with the bad reviews for the pharmacy. This place is a hot mess! Extremely slow, they NEVER answer the phone. There is always some issue with your prescription when ordering through their app, so I always have to go inside to get it straightened out. And then there's more waiting in line and more waiting for your prescription to be ready. Overall, not the friendliest staff back there either. I'm going to be transferring my prescription to another Walgreens. By far the worst pharmacy I've encountered in all my years. Definitely do not recommend! read more

Pharmacist is rude after you have to wait an hour or be on hold for just as long on the phone. They eagerly tell you to go to another pharmacy when they fail to fill your script for weeks on end. They then get annoyed when you call daily to find out if your scrip can be filled today and put you on hold for at least 20 min, every time without fail. They literally thrive on the fact that you have almost no alternative to their business. And I've been filling my scrip there since 2007 and currently have been out my meds for a month. I'm currently receiving the run around and junky treatment when I call to check in now, as I have been doing for weeks in hopes to get lucky on getting my scrip filled. Walgreens in Tarpon is a joke. read more

I ordered 4×6 prints online, system never told me it would be any issue. Got to store was my time to pick up today when i got there i was told they run out of 4×6 and they cannot print my order until after christmas. When i asked if they could help me find another location i was told i am on my own they cannot help. Walgreen should not put 4×6s on sale sunday if they run out of it in half a day. I tried to call but i guess some genius already realized what mess they created because now the whole photo system is screwed up. I did not think now day printing would be so bad now not sure what to do this was part of a present i will not be able to finish. Lesson learned read more

Wow! Just wow! If you are planning on printing pictures at this store DON'T!!! My wife ordered pictures to be printed for a high school graduation today. When she went to pick them up this morning, they did not have them. It seems they "ran out of paper" and that has been happening (gee, do you think it could have something to do with it being the end of the school year??). No one called. No one tried to get this supposed one hour job that was put in yesterday printed at a different store for her. Absolutely no customer service. The young lady that was the "manager" said she understood. Oh well. No solution and no pictures for students that have worked extremely hard in order to graduate from high school today. Eek Methinks YES. this is also for the pharmacy. i have been forced to use a mail in pharmacy since i turned 65. i am now "as the kids say" 66 1/2. yesterday i went to pick up a 30 day supply that was called in by my doctor while waiting for the mail order. I was told it was to soon to refill my prescription. Once again havnt been there in almost 2 years. I stated that couldnt be because of the time frame. I was then told "Look Im telling you" in a condesending tone. I think the complaints are people who expect employees to perform miracles when they don't know how to get things done ahead of time. I have had great service here and the staff is always so friendly and a joy to be around. The pharmacy is, at no fault of their own, overwhelmed because they are the only Walgreens for miles. Don't waste your time unless you enjoy being ignored or treated badly. Sales associates are no where to be found by the front counter. The store is generally clean. Sales persons are not friendly. The pharmacy is the ultimate disaster. Horrible customer service, no personality, and if you think you are going to reach them by phone good luck. I have stood there and listened to the phone ring non-stop. At the same time there was an employee of the pharmacy that was on the same call for ages. Generally I have had a good experience with Walgreen's. This store would serve as an example of how to treat customers and lose them. I'll never go back. I made the mistake of stopping at the store at the corner of Pinellas and MLK. All I wanted was a soda. They were 2 for $3.00. When I got to checkout The witch at the counter said "$2.02" I said I thought they were they were 2 for $3.00 or $1.50 each. A snappy response was "That is with a card and you have to buy 2". I said I made a mistake in stopping at Walgreens. The mistake was that I had forgotten that I transferred all of my prescriptions and stopped using Walgreens over 2 years ago over their pricing policy that screws the customer. Also the cashier need a class on customer service. There never was a greeting just the cold $2.02. I never was asked if I had a card. read more

This review is only for the pharmacy at at this site. I have been doing business with Walgreens for the past 27 yrs for my entire family. Last several years at this pharmacy site constantly having problems with this 1 pharmacist. I am tired of Rosemarie yelling and treating me like a child. She has a problem and thinks she owns this place. Maybe she does, then this is a poor excuse how to treat customers. The last straw was on April 24, 2015 when she went bizark yelling thorugh the drivethru that I needed to move my car or she was going to call the police and ban me from HER pharmacy. I then needed to go into store on crutches with a 70lb dog who had a torn ACL(that Is why I went to drivethru, you can't leve an animal in 80+ temp in a car) I am healing from hip surgery and had to lift my dog out of the car 2x because this lady again was having her temper tantrums with me. Other things that has been done at this pharmacy giving my daughter the wrong heart medicine, giving my medical information out asking me if I want to particpate in a clinical trial (against HIPPA regulations) yelling at me if front of all her staff, when my doctor decided to change my medication because of the delay of not receiving the meds for 2 wks due to my insurance. Telling me in front of other customers that my sick daughter who had been in a wheelchair since 2007 had to get another ID and "All my cancer patients have to do it" Tech telling me since I am on antibiotics I have to stop another med when that was the purpose of being on both medications by my doctor's orders. I have never ever had any problems with the other pharmacy employees they are sweet and great and I will miss them. They have helped me alot through the difficult time taking care of my sick daughter with all my medical problems. BUT I can no longer be verbally abused by Rosemary, I filed a complaint in 2013 with Walgreen but I guess nothing was done regarding her verbal abuse. I have taken my business elsewhere and have told all my doctors, family and friends of the action that transpired on April 24, 2015 regarding the behavior of this one pharmacist. read more
