When I spoke with Deanna at Wellness, she told me that they too were out of stock. But rather then end of the phone call there as the others had - she mentioned another store in Front Royal and tried to remember the name of a second source. It wasn't only the fact that she referred me to a competitor, but the sincerity in her voice and her desire to help me. It is rare when you experience empathy from a store. As if the Universe wanted me to get this message out - as I was writing this review, Deanna called me back because she had searched and found the name of the second source. When I walked in here I entered an active remodel zone. I almost bypassed the restrooms as there was no signage. I crept back into the small hallway to see if the restrooms were still back there, they were. Just wasn't sure if they were open or under remodel as well. With that out of the way, I figured I could do a once around the store and see if I could snag a deal. Spoiler alert, there were no deals to snag. Like the front of the store, the whole area is an active remodel zone. Walls partially painted, fitting rooms sectioned off, no clearance sections by my account. Needless to say, this was a very quick stop with not a purchase to be had.

Once we hit the checkout, Doreen was so helpful and kind, and even though I don't shop at target often, her bubbly personality and willingness to go the extra mile to wrap my items after I picked them just gave me a lil reason to smile. They have a special where if you buy 5 hand soaps - you get a specific price point of $27. While the name of the place includes the words "Service Station," I'm assuming that is a holdover from days of yore - as there were no gas pumps or auto repair facilities that I could see. These days - it's a little roadside convenience store. This is a convenient place to stop if you are coming out from the wineries back on Fiery Run Road - and you need bottled water, beer, sodas, snacks, toiletries, food, etc. I stopped on my way out from Linden Vineyards and picked up a bottle of water, gum, and a six pack of Raging Bitch IPA.

Got coffee from here this am and this is what happened…read more... As I was walking to the counter the coffee spilled through the lid and seeped through my sweatshirt. I immediately felt the burn but didn't think much of it. About an hour later a full blown blister formed. I went in to let them know that their coffee was way too hot and they might want to have it checked. I was then informed that it isn't their machine that another company comes in and checks the temperature. I said well it is still in your store so it is your machine. Then they said they would let the company know. No apology or anything so I said that it would have been at least nice to have them ask me if I was okay and to apologize. The owner proceeded to tell say to me "why...we didn't spill the coffee on you." Wow!!! I am beyond angry! I wasn't expecting any compensation by my telling them just wanted to make then aware but some empathy would have been nice but to be flat out disrespected is disgusting. I will never give them business again.

But for some reason we can't seem to get a good store manager... The store is usually clean, has plenty of stock out and the shelves are pretty full. Friendly cashiers, and good selection of products. Altogether, I give 4 stars.
