So I have had many issues with Walgreens Pharmacy over the years. But I am on a GLP drug now, and due to all calls going to the call center I am told yes they will get the prescription ready...then days later, I get a text that it is delayed. I finally went to the pharmacy at Battlefield and they said the West Sunshine location has it. I have tried to reach them by phone, as they are all the way across town from me. I again got the call center, asked to be transferred to the local store, was on hold for about 10 minutes and got hung up on. Tried again and I have been on hold for 25+ minutes. It is not a good practice to have a call center that doesn't know what is going on in the local market. Because of this practice I have had to start over once, and I shouldn't have to do it again. I makes me feel like Walgreens is not concerned with getting needed medications out to the customers in a timely manner. It actually feels deceptive, and I cannot trust what the call center tells me. Because this has happened multiple times, I know the company does not care. read more

Ok seriously, the night crew is so nice and friendly always, Carol, Carley(sp?)Rick, all good people. My issue is with the pharmacy. My rating is for the pharmacy. My prescription was never in stock so I transferred to CVS. Well cvs dropped the ball this time and when I went to pick up my prescription they called and said was ready they said the rx had expired and they had to reshelve it!?!? Anyways I called my dr and had them send in another refill this time back to Walgreens. It was 8:50 pm and I had not received a ready text so I called and got the pharmacist, (a female, Emily possibly I cannot remember for sure) and told her I was already a day late on my birth control and needed it today and was just making sure it was done before I headed up there. She then told me they were closing at 9:00(it's now 8:55) and I'd have to get it tomorrow. I said mam I have to have it tonight I've waited all day and had NO warning you were closing 2 hours early. I live 3 minutes from Walgreens and asked can she please hold it out and I'll be right there. Then she said I could try to call Campbell they are 24 hours but good luck because they have not been able to get ahold of that store all day. WHAT???? ARE YOU EVEN SERIOUS RIGHT NOW? I am beyond angry as I've now sat on hold for 37 minutes with S Campbell Walgreens, who are probably overwhelmed since sunshine closed 2 hours early and didn't give a crap to make a phone recording or email or anything I mean the reason people call the drugs into certain pharmacies is because they have extended hours. And you're telling me sunshine pharmacist couldn't transfer my damn Prescription to Campbell?? Not only is that terrible customer service, but now if something happens due to the fact I cannot have my medicine today even tho it sits ready then I will certainly have an attorney contacting your pharmacy instead of me. Also I will take my pharmacy business and every damn person I know who goes there and find a capable pharmacy for future use. read more

Pharmacy is horrible! Never have your prescription ready they always say come back in 45 minutes then when you return it's still not ready! Been to many Walgreens in other cities this one is by far the worst! Always disappointed there read more

This is my favorite Walgreens! The staff is very friendly and the Store Manager is extremely helpful when I need help with a specific request. Not only is he helpful for me but I have witnessed the time and care he takes when interacting with other customers. Although clearly a busy store, customers always come first which is refreshing. read more

I just got back from visiting this location to look for a product that it's own website says it has 2-5 units of. Out of all 11 or so locations in Springfield, this is the only location that has this product in stock, according to its own website. I walked in to that store only to find that the item in question is nowhere to be found on the shelves. When I asked the person one aisle over in cosmetics, she used the intercom to request someone to come over to my aisle and speak with me. No one ever showed. By now, the person in cosmetics was gone, and the only person I could see was the woman at the checkout lane who had no customers. With an extremely negative and condescending attitude she walked over to the department in question and proceeded to patronize me about what was actually on the shelf (as if I couldn't see for myself). I told this person their website lists this item as being in stock, and she argued with me about what that actually meant--saying that if the website lists an item and they don't have it, then someone in the store can order it for me. I responded, "No, your company website literally says that your store has 2-5 units in stock." She dismissively said to me, "I don't trust computers". Out of all 11 locations in Springfield, this is the only one to have erroneously displayed their inventory of this particular product, and what's worse they take no responsibility for it. Apparently, these mystical black magic boxes called 'computers' made this mistake all on their own. As the woman walked away from me, she smugly told me to go find her manager so she could order it for me. Um, yeah. I don't think so. Not interested in chasing down any more of your people, or wasting any more of my time. If I was simply going to order this product why would I do it at the worst Walgreen's I've ever been to? read more

This is the worst Walgreens I have ever used. I travel all over the country and have used Walgreens at other places and cities. The pharmacy service is horrible. They are way way understaffed. I will be moving my Rx business to another pharmacy. These people seem to get all or most of their prescriptions delivered to them.....and it's always tomorrow after 10:30. There doesn't seem to be any such thing as same day service at this pharmacy. I'm sure it's an effective corporate policy, but it sure makes for pitiful customer service for the person who needs the Rx. This has happened the last 4 or 5 prescriptions. I'll find a pharmacy that places the customer first. read more

My fiance had a stint put into his heart and it's literally a hit or miss game because they ALWAYS "have to call the doctor" They even tried to bump him up to this (what they calledtheir fancy structure which is you have a set amount of meds and they are all ready the same time every month. This is the very best Walgreens I've ever encountered, every pharmacy staff member I've interacted with has been friendly and they almost always have any medication I need in stock and filled within an hour. I have been taking a liquid medication that tastes very bitter and the pharmacist was able to sweeten and flavor the medication for me so that it will taste better for me and be easier for me to take, complete with two stoppers and two syringes I was given without even having to ask. The flavoring and such along with the actual medications themselves was completely covered by insurance (I have Medicare and Medicaid), so I haven't had to pay a dime. Staff to slow at the pharmacy , wait for two hours on my first Dose of covid 19 and my appointment was made two week before , 2 dose of my Covid 19 vaccine still waiting for 1 hour and my appointment was made a week ago so no reason to make appointment If they going to take the time to get to you . I don't even know why they have a sing saying that they have COVID 19 vaccines available 24hrs if they don't have enough staff to get people. read more

Been doing business with George Pharmacy for several years. They closed their pharmacy on E. Sunshine & transferred all their patients files to Walgreens on E. Sunshine. Just filled a prescription at Walgreens and the price was more than twice what George's charged!! Folks you better check around for best price before you have to have a prescription filled at Walgreens $$$$$ read more

Very slow customer service. Employees suddenly disappear when you need help finding something. Seem to be more preoccupied looking at there cellphone's then attending to customers need's This is one Walgreen's to avoid. read more

During morning rush, lunch rush and after work rush, never enough help. They need two registers by the cigarettes since that is usually at least two or more people want. Instead of having the clerk run around to the other counter. There are three registers. Use them. read more
