It takes hours before they check their fax for doctor faxed prescriptions and then another hour once you arrive to pick it up, for them to finally fill it There seems to always be a contradiction on sale labels, they are usually on the wrong product. The pricing policy doesn't give the customer the item at what the sign says. Managers move the incorrectly placed signs back onto the proper product and inform me they can not give me the incorrectly placed sale price. read more

I couldn't disagree more with negative reviews about the Shawnee, OK, Harrison, Walgreens store. Once I got through to the pharmacist, he was extremely helpful and expedited my request within minutes. They had all my medications, which are common and filled them immediately. I just moved back from Michigan and the Walgreens there had already provided the Walgreens in Shawnee with all my information! In my opinion, the store is not at fault, however, the AUTOMATED CUSTOMER SERVICE SYSTEM leaves a great deal to be desired. There is a reason Walgreens national average for reviews is 2.2. Watch out for Gilbert if you go in the 1 on Harrison St in Shawnee OK. I have gone to walgreens on Harrison the vast majority of my life. Since the closing of the Walgreens North Pharmacy, the South store has been a nightmare. Today was the last straw. I had a pharmacist talk to me like a dog, break HIPA in every way to discuss my medical information in front of everyone and to top it off, denied me my medication for my surgery that's literally scheduled for tomorrow! I've never been more embarrassed and upset with ANY medical provider of any kind. My doctors could not believe how this whole situation was handled. Kyle, the kid pharmacist needs to be checked or fired. I went home and called management only to be told that I don't need to shop there any longer! This, coming from some 20 something year old clown. The idiots running that store need an adult to come babysit them. All I can say is it's a small town and we all see each other at Walmart. Watch your words when living in small places. As for that grumpy and frumpy manager Sharon, total trash. Ugly attitude, poor appearance, and absolutely the worst manager I've ever dealt with. She is a direct reason that store is crumbling. On a bright note, the Walgreens on Air Depot in MWC was amazing In fact, one worker there expressed their opinion of the Shawnee store saying she was treated horribly as well when she visited last, and she works for Walgreens lol The whole team there said they have all heard horror stories about that Shawnee location. How embarrassing! Our small community deserves better. Shawnee has tons of great folks but this store is a poor representation of that great spirit. District managers need to be paying close attention to all these horrible reviews. Fire Sharon, get a real leader in place, and begin repairing the trust those incompetent workers ruined for your district. Plenty of great talent on the market these days. I understand the pharmacy in Shawnee goes to lunch at 1:30pm, but I waited in line for my prescription and I was the last car. Instead of helping me, I was rudely told they were going to lunch and she refused to help me. Switching all my prescriptions over to Eric's as soon as possible. read more

If I could leave zero, I would. At both Walgreens the Pharmacist are difficult to bad to talk to. I don't know why they have a 'consult' window. The other one here, the girl was trying to ask the pharmacist my question, she saw he wasn't going to talk to her, hid behind a couple of shelves.....I just turned around and walked away. Both guys at these locations and beyond rude. There are other places to shop. They will also let the phone ring a long time, so all you get is the recording of where you are in line. 30 min. on one call. read more

a normal walgreens, except they don't carry normal drugs in stock and it made life really difficult for my father. Even the one north of own doesn't keep a normal stock of common prescriptions and they "run out" of things. A nightmare for sure read more

My son may wait 5 or 10 minutes so I thought appointments were the perfect choice only tip be told very rudely appointments online don't matter world still be 40 minutes wait so we left. If you want to get a prescription and it has been sent in. be prepared ..1. You will arrive and the pharmacy will be closed and your kids will have to wait until the next day in pain because the closest 24hr pharmacy cant pull the prescription since this pharmacy is closed...or 2. Be prepared to arrive only to find out a portion of your prescription is now waiting on a doctor confirmation only to have to spend hours on the phone arranging for that confirmation to then drive back into town in pain to arrive and to wait a hour for your prescriptions to be ready (that were supposed to already be done) oh and not covered by your insurance because they have you listed under a doctor who you havent saw in close to two years..its like this every time and has been for years to the point to where you basically have to take the entire day off work to work around Walgreens schedule...best advice: call in advance, then call again, then call your doctor just in case and then call Walgreens one more time and save yourself the headache. These people never have medicine ready at the time they say it will be done! Then they just take their time to get them finished when you are there waiting. Have had nothing but trouble with this location. I used to use Walgreens 24 hour in Oklahoma City on SW 89th and S. Penn and never had any problem. That location was fast, knowledgeable, well staffed, and the primary place I went to for my pharmacy needs. The Shawnee location is the exact opposite. They are very slow to fill prescriptions. When I submit a prescription, I can almost always count on some sort of issue. I had one particular prescription that was a bit complex, but we had the SAME issue for 4 months straight. It got to a point to where I would request refills 1 week early to give the pharmacy time to figure out their crap. The worst issue was when they actually LOST my prescription. That is the only time I've ever had that happen. As you can imagine, it is a hassle to call the doctor's office and tell them that you need a new prescription because the pharmacy can't locate the original. I imagine if it were for a narcotic medication for someone who was in pain, or an elder who absolutely needed medicine for their heart/blood pressure/etc, that this could have been a huge deal. Luckily, it was just an inconvenience (albeit, a very tiresome one) for me. As someone else mentioned, they don't seem to keep adequate stock of medications. In OKC, I had to get a partial fill 1 time. In Shawnee, it happens about once every 3-4 months. I always tell people to avoid this location. read more

The worst Pharmacy ever!!!! I went to pick up my 2 weeks old prescription I was unaware that she had more than one and I was given the wrong one not to mention the most expensive one. I didn't even get out of the parking lot before pulling around and told them I had the wrong one they would not give me a refund they told me once it's gone it's gone. Yes I should have checked the prescription but but still they should have clarified which one I wanted. So after i got that straightened out they told me it would be 3 hours before her prescription was ready and it was called in the day before and still wasn't ready. read more
