As a content creator here in Gatlinburg, The Gatlinburg Hussey we don't have a pharmacy here in Gatlinburg anymore after the Walgreens here closed it's down ..The store is still here but the pharmacy isn't ..So heads up if you're heading here on vacation and need your meds . The Prescriptions were called in to this pharmacy hours earlier and sent via computer. We arrived and was told 45 minutes. Then, another 45 minutes. Then, another 45 min. Then, only 2/4 were available. Then, they said my provider only sent in 4 of 5. So, my family member decided to finally leave and go without. What a waste of time and effort. Did they care, ABSOLUTELY NOT. Many other customers were having the same problem we were. They did NOT know how to credit VA insurance, yet, they are part of the preferred network. F* these guys. BTW, one of the prescriptions was $199, and we were told it would be $89. Another one was over $300. I will say they did have reasonable costs for Augmentin & Prednisone. They still get one star because of how inconsiderate they are of people's time. They ruined our night! read more

The male pharmacy tech that is short and heavy set with a beard and brown hair who is usually working the drive through is the most useless employee you have, because of his mistake I got my medication for free. Thank you for the free medication that my husband went there the first time to get but it was very unprofessional for the pharmacy tech to just stare at my husband like a deer in headlights over a simple request that was repeated 3 times. I had 2 medications ready and I only needed 1, I even cancelled the medication that I got by mistake before it said it was filled but when you ask for a specific medication to be picked up and you don't receive the correct one after clarifying the name of the medication multiple times then is it really safe for you to be trusted with 100's of patients medications? This is the second incident with the same pharmacy tech, mixing up medication at a pharmacy is dangerous. If it happens again I won't just complain to another pharmacy tech over the phone like I already had, this will be reported to a supervisor, corporate or the FDA. read more

I'm sure COVID is being blamed for how terribly SLOW this location is. I hope the manager is paying attention to these reviews! Worst Walgreens experience. Staff need to be retrained or replaced. read more

One of the fewer pharmacies in the area that's 24-hour. It's convenient when rushed to urgent care after work and having prescription medications the same evening, since all local pharmacies are closed by latest 7pm. This location has a drive-through, but it was packed, so I decided to go inside. I waited about 20 minutes and not a min longer. The service was nice and would definitely come back. read more

I am here because CVS discontinued my eye drops which I have to use because of my corneal transplant. This store is always very crowded and there is a wait to pick up prescriptions. The store does send alerts for prescriptions when they are ready. read more

I was on vacation in Gatlinburg and my son became sick. I took him to the doctor and they sent my prescription to this Walgreens. The guy I talked too seemed like an right guy. He turned out to be be the biggest dumbass I ever talked too. When they gave me my prescriptions one of the bottle tops wasn't screwed on at all. By the time a got to Gatlinburg all the medicine had poured out into the bag. I call the guy and he insisted that he checked the bottle and everything was screwed on and tight when he handed the bag over. That pharmacy was a hour away from were my hotel was. It literally took me 4 hours to get a refill for my son. read more

Had to get a few items for our stay & the girl at the cosmetic counter was above & beyond helpful. She was doing a giveaway for Mother's Day weekend for every person she checked out. Such a great customer service person. She was friendly, helpful and seemed genuinely interested in her customers. read more

The absolute SLOWEST pharmacy I've ever used. I hate that I have to give even 1 star, would give zero if I could!

The worst!! I have never been to a pharmacy that was as disfunctional, and slow, and as rude as this one. I've never had a problem through Walgreens before I started using this one. They never "receive" my prescription, and when they do it takes over 24hrs to fill. If you try to call and speak to someone you will get hung up on or no one will EVER answer. The line inside and out is outrageous. Unfortunately it's not just a one time experience either its EVERY single time I've been, or called in the past year. Absolutely fed up with it. 10 pm on a Sat. night; I had just spent 4 hrs. in the ER; feeling awful. I work for Wal-Mart, but their pharmacy was already closed. I wanted to get started on my prescriptions, so.....My order (3 scrips) was ready in 15 min. Pharmacist was helpful and spent time explaining everything - no rushing! Opal, at the front register, was very friendly, too. A nice experience after an uncomfortable evening....Thanks! read more
