I made a pickup order for my sister to pick up, and Walgreens made the process impossible. She went several times and was still not able to get it. I finally had to call the store myself, and the woman who answered (wouldn't even give me her name) was extremely rude. She kept cutting me off, trying to "explain" that no one had given my sister a hard time and even claimed the order was already picked up--which was clearly untrue because my sister was still standing in the store waiting. At one point, she even asked me, "was it 3 bags?" -- how would I know? I placed an order for 7 items! Then, all of a sudden, she "found" the order after insisting it wasn't there. Instead of apologizing, she continued arguing and spoke over me the entire time. On top of that, they were questioning my sister and saying things like, "we didn't bother you, we never gave you a hard time," which was completely unnecessary and unprofessional. I asked for her to stay on the line until my sister had the order in hand, but she refused and hung up. This happened today (9/7/25) at approximately 7:15pm. No apology, no accountability--just rudeness and attitude. Outrageous customer service. I am reaching out to corporate. read more

This Walgreens has a liquor store. Neat. But, as I've found out, like many institutions in NM, they do not accept valid drivers licenses as proof of age for purchase of alcohol. I and my girlfriend were in the store with valid, Texas drivers licenses and the clerk simply said, "we do not accept vertical ID-es, goodbye." While rude, the blatant disrespect for our rights was a bit shocking. My right to purchase alcohol is not defined by the orientation of my ID; it is defined by my age and a valid, government issued proof of age. My ID is valid until 2022 and I've been 21 since the start of the year. To make customers purchase a new license, renewing their valid licenses before expiration places the onus on law abiding citizens. Walgreens is a national chain. I've purchased alcohol at Walgreens in Texas. That their corporate policy fails to recognize personal rights is confusing and insulting. Next time you stop by with a vertical ID, maybe you should call the police! Maybe they'll at least scan your ID to verify it. These clowns wouldn't even do that. read more

DO NOT SCHEDULE A VACCINE AT THIS LOCATION! I scheduled vaccines online for myself and 2 family members. I received confirmation numbers along with paperwork to fill out and bring in. We went 15 minutes prior to the appointments as advised and waited. When it was our turn to be seen, we were told that there is no one there to administer vaccines...even though they made appointments for us and confirmed them. We were told that there would be no one to administer vaccines for a week...yet as of this very moment, you are still able to schedule an appointment that you will be turned away from. I sat behind a line of people who had appointments who were turned away. They know that they are unable to keep appointments, yet they are still scheduling them. I took off a half a day of work and wasted my time because they can't be bothered to disable appointments until they are actually able to see people. Find somewhere else to get your vaccines and spend your money. read more

This is a Walgreens like you will find anywhere else. It's a chain, and that's the way they are designed. I'll give you a run down of what's unique here: 1) Large booze selection to the left when you walk in. This store is strategically located at the junction between Ruidoso, the Downs, and the Rez, making it an ideal place for booze hounds from all three communities to get their drink of choice (from beer to wine to liquor). Bonus points if you're brave enough to venture into the park across the street where the Natives head to chill with their purchases (which are sometimes as pitiful as Scope bottles). read more

We needed emgerency meds for a couple of days, Aimee was so disrespectful, she really didn't want to call our home Phamarcy to help, I did end up calling our pharmacy and CVS handled the situation. This is the main reason we do not use Walgren's anymore, their lack of concern for the patient. read more

I would like to compliment the pharmacy staff for going out of their way to make sure my prescription was filled in the most effective and affordable way. Their entire demeanor was very professional to me as well as others that I watched them take care of. Additionally when I went to check out after doing some other shopping the cashier in front had stepped away and the liquor dept cashier asked me over to check out so I didn't have to wait. A large booze store attached to a small drug store. More like a five and dime with drugs and booze. Typical Walgreens, overpriced!

I usually get in to this Walgreens 2-3 times a month, so I think I can accurately asses the strengths and weaknesses of the store. First, the negatives. You can't ever find anyone. We've had to wait minutes up front by the register for a cashier because she was stocking a shelve in the back. We go to Cosmetics to buy a perfume and no one ever shows up, despite the PA being used to call for someone. We go to Photo and the photo clerk isn't in photo. Someone calls for help. The photo person is stocking something else far away. This is a bit frustrating. Perhaps it is a sign of the economy that they are running on a skeleton crew and have very few people doing the job of many. Once the cashier comes to the register, she (in both cases, a female) was very apolegetic and friendly. The same goes with the photo department, once they return to their department, they are apologetic and friendly. I don't know how many people work in this department, but the person I work with is Leslie and she is really good at what she does. I was especially impressed with the technical knowledge. The liquor department is another department I cannot help visit and you will usually find that cashier at the helm of the counter, no doubt guarding their stock. There are a couple of people who work in that department, the one I've noticed is Tom. He's new but gives great suggestions and is really friendly. The other thing I can say about the store is that it is clean and very orderly. And when you do come across a worker, even though they seem pretty sparse, they always greet you and ask how you are-which I think is nice. There are a few unsmiling faces in there, but you can't beat Walgreens for getting everything you need in one place. There is also a pharmacy there where I pick up my wife's medicines. There are a lot of great faces in the pharmacy, very helpful and friendly. The pharmacist I like to deal with is Chris and Resa, Will and I believe her name is Barbara all go out of their way to be helpful, ask how you're feeling, etc. read more

The customer service in this store is awful. Last week I sat in the pharmacy for over 30 minutes waiting on a flu shot only to finally realize the person that filled out my paperwork didn't tell anyone else I was there and no one looked at the paperwork to know that I was there. Today I went to purchase some cosmetics and after standing in line at the front register I was told I had to check out in the cosmetic section. What happened to customer service???? read more
