Can you get the best ice cream you'll ever taste at a gas station?…read more Yes, you can! At Stewart's Shops. When I return home each year, my kids and I eat our weight in ice cream. None of us eats that much ice cream normally. Every single day we're there, we end our activities with a visit. Besides being the best-tasting ice cream, the flavors are endless and the service is great. Best of all, the price is ridiculously reasonable. I always forget how cheap it is when we're here. My go-to cone is Mint Chocolate Chip with Strawberry. I alternate which is on the bottom. My mom likes the Banana Split, and my children usually get some form of Cookie Dough that's on offer. So, when you're stopping by to fill up your vehicle, stop in to fill up your belly with ice cream so good, you don't complain about brain freeze.

The staff is rude and the store rules are absurd, but it all comes down to the manager who made up the rules and to whom they must report to every time. Anyways, my bf was trying to buy cigarettes and he had his NY State ID, but I didn't so they would not sell to us without my ID. Later on, he walked in alone to buy them, and they still wouldn't sell them because I had walked in without my ID. I mean HELLO, if I were under age, I would have never walked in the first place. What if Grandma doesn't have her ID, you are going to deny her alcohol or cigars? Really? Then I show my USA Passport ID Card and they would not accept it. PP ID CARDS NOT ACCEPTED!!! Because they don't report to IMMIGRATION!!! What??? The most legit form of ID in the UNITED STATES. GEE! I have travelled through the US and Canada with my PP ID Card, and yet they won't sell us cigarettes or beer. All they needed to confirm was my DOB. Anyways, the hotel staff told us about other ridiculous incidents like these. They obviously are ignorant and have no clue about the importance of CUSTOMER SERVICE.
