I had a disappointing experience at Walgreens in Revere. I was shopping with my 5-year-old children, who were picking up items that I intended to purchase. An employee approached me and told me to make my children stop touching the merchandise. They are only 5 years old and were helping choose items we were buying, not damaging or misusing anything. I understand that stores need to keep merchandise organized, but the interaction felt unwelcoming and lacking understanding toward families with young children. It would be nice if employees remembered that children are naturally curious and deserve patience and kindness. This experience left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome as a customer. read more

The worste walgreens pharamcy techs and paramacist ive been to hands down. In my 15 years ive been using walgrens for meds iv been to multiple diffrnt ones thought my life and were ive lived and hands down this is the worste one . I was denied essenial meds ive been on for years on a sunday after working all day simply because my physicle license was expired my a few days . i offered passport and valid real ID phots i have on my phone with clears pocs and legiable wich they have excepted many times before but still reffised due to "policy" they have done it many times i wasnt shre why all of a sudden they were willing to let me not get my medicine that i absoutly need . Its was sunday at 530 pm. They closed at 6pm. I waited and revorded the whole itneraction till they closed at 6 on the dot forcing me to leave without my medication. Recently I had a bad experience after closing the Rite Aid store. It is the "Worst" management of the store and Pharmacy: The sore items were cluttered, mixed items on shelves, and shelves were partially emptied. always long lines and any day any time. There is no comment on automatic phone calls, and with ambiguous information, the first message says: pickup your prescription is ready but the second message says it is still in process and calls this number. Prescription and shelve medications out of stock most of the time. Incorrect information was provided on the answering machine. The funny and amazing thing/ joke is that some prescriptions are out of stock and the pharmacy asks the patient, 2nd day to manage prescriptions in advance rather than the pharmacy updating their inventory/ stock. They just don't open shipments to stock on Sunday but the answering machine message says to pick up the next day or pick up a partial prescription. BAD SPOT ON BEAUTIFUL BROADWAY OF REVERE P.S. One doesn't need an attachment, just visit the store and pharmacy. read more

Showed up at 10:45 pm on Sunday night 9/17 and waited for 10 minutes at a locked door, no employees to be found, no note on door, multiple customers couldn't get in to get the things they needed. They don't care here, pretty ridiculous. read more

This Walgreens is located in the direct center of Broadway Revere... How they scored such a great location is beyond me. They've been there for years and years. The store has a huge parking lot. The exterior of the building is in nice condition for being an older structure. The interior of the store is actually very clean and well kept. The shelves are always in order and the staff is eager to help you locate an item or two. Of course the pharmacy is in the very rear of the store so you have to look at hundreds of items before you can fill a script. This Walgreens always has milk, bread and a bunch of groceries available. The funny thing about this location is the surveillance, being in the direct center of town it is a very busy spot. As soon as you walk thru the front door, you get to see yourself on TV. They really want you to know your being watched. They have a double check out line with a register on either side of the line which sometimes gets a little confusing as you really don't know which way to go... Most times it separates into two lines but unfortunately every time it does, someone gets the raw end of the stick and loses their place in line. Over all it is a decent place to pick up odds and ends as well as prescriptions.. read more

This morning I stopped in at this Walgreens to pick up some cough medicine, tissues and cough drops since I have been feeling a bit under the weather. I came to this store after the most recent snow storm and I was excited to see that the staff here was pleasant and the store was well stocked. I ended up getting everything I needed and didn't spend an arm and a let. Since it was early morning after a storm the store was empty, so it would be interesting to see what the store is like on a busy day. read more

Tried and tried to call to find out if the prescription was ready or to find out if the doctors office called the prescription in. Call for an hour and a half I did not get no answer and then drove 45 minutes to find out that no they did not. read more

I feel for the people in pharmacy, I really do. They get blamed for a lot for insurance companies issues. I've seen customers flip out at them for problems that they literally have no control over. That being said, trying to call the pharmacy is a big problem. DO NOT CALL DURING PEAK HOURS. This is mostly week nights between 5-8. You will be on hold for 1+ hours and you'll probably be hung up on at least once. Once your call is answered, the person will be dismissive and try to hurry you off the phone. Sometimes during normal hours they are just as bad on the phone. I have not had a bad experience there in person, but on the phone they are miserable. Because I have to call every month, I'm switching pharmacies, it's that bad. read more

Arrived on time for a scheduled COVID test. The blond pharmacy woman rudely ignored me while I waited outside at the window for over 40 minutes while she rang up people walking up to buy chips and tissues. Plus, there is also a pile of human feces right in front of the pharmacy drive through window. A polite gentlemen in the store tried to assist me and reach out to the manager but manager seemed to be mia. I had no idea if they were delayed or ran out of tests and when I went inside to ask, she just said -it doesn't matter if you have an appointment and continued ignoring me. I understand that people are on edge and exhausted from being overworked in the middle of pandemic, but the inability to give any direction with some amount of politeness was inexcusable. This Walgreens is located on the busy street of Broadway in Revere. It is one of the most rundown, dirtiest Walgreens I've ever been to. It was a mess, empty shelves everywhere. The parking lot is kind of set up weird too which was kind of frustrating when you want to navigate it. I went there to get my passport photos taken and it was a joke. They said their backdrop for the photos was broken or something and they put me up against the fridge and had me press my back on the white cardboard cutout they provided.. super ghetto. Then after taking a few shots off of their camera... they handed me the photos which a 3 year old could've taken and charged me 15 dollars. Are you kidding me? What a waste of space.. the land would've better served as a playground for kids or something. read more

The pharmacy here is awful. I call in to refill prescriptions using their automated system and it tells me it'll be ready at a designated time the next day I show up at that time and they have no prescription or it'll be another 2 hours. Last time I went in they were understaffed and overwhelmed but I was told my prescription would be ready at 3 I go back at 3:30 they say it's not ready come back at 6 I go back at 6:45 and it's STILL NOT READY! I had to wait another 45mins. This is ridiculous and I will be taking my prescriptions elsewhere. The store itself is good but the pharmacy is awful!!!!!!! read more

While waiting in line a woman ahead of me was checking out 130 dollars worth of stuff.,its nit that she had that much that bothered me it was the point it happen at the PHARMACY. I get what other critics are saying. The ONLY reason they get the one star is because the staff is nice. It's not their fault that Walgreen's is considering their gross profit margin more than their customers by understaffing RIDICULOUSLY. Forget calling. You'd be better off walking there; it would be faster. And the wait times are unacceptable. The managers can't even do anything about it all because they are forced to cut hours. I was there earlier today after picking my aunt up from getting out of surgery for breast cancer. They were extremely busy and they said the wait would be 20 minutes , wait ended up being 40 minutes . THat is not the part that bothers me ,as I know in any retail type of business especially a pharmacy ,estimated times can vary. What really irked me was the dark skinned well groomed gentleman in his late twenties maybe early thirties ,he prances around talking down to everyone like they're a bunch of dogs he had this condescending tone and you can tell that he was just not happy and did not want to be there . When he would discuss things with patients ( because that's what they are when you working in the type of field ) he would talk to them as the workers do at the Registry of Motor Vehicles . Perhaps he needs to get a new job or go see a counselor ...he also had big biceps so I'm not sure if he was experiencing steroid rage or was on cocaine ( pupils seemed dilated ) I don't know but he was absolutely ridiculous and I will never go to that pharmacy again . I hope that someday this message gets back to him so he can get himself situated and learn that although it's challenge ; good customer service can do good for yourself as well as all those that it touches around you. He seems like an educated intelligent guy just probably wasn't aware of how he was portraying himself nor representing the company. Especially in that type of business where are you are dealing with people that are sick. I work in retail . Grow up dude stop being so god damn angry. this store is open 24-7. unfortunately that's about the best i can say for it. if you plan to buy something that appears in the weekly advertisement, go early on sunday (when the sale starts) or you might never see the product, because they never stock enough of what's on sale. srsly, is it that difficult to say, self, i better stock more of this item cuz it's on sale? the pharmacy...same deal...go early! or you're in line behind people who didn't bring their card, or whose insurance isn't covering their rx, or have some other time consuming problem which the pharmacy staff handle as if it's the 1st time it happened. oh & the pharmacy has a drive up window, and when a fossil fuel guzzling suv drives up, they apparently get priority service over people in the store. fail. there's another down the street in chelsea (not 24-7) that is run a bit better than this location - you might find fewer items out of stock, anyway. read more
