The absolute WORST pharmacy. This Walgreens has miserable reviews online and I can see why. Even when you hand them your insurance card they are too lazy to call to verify your coverage to process the simplest of prescriptions. I arrived at the window at least five minutes prior to their lunch hour. The pharmacy tech knew it was very close to lunch and refused to assist me in processing my prescription because it meant calling in to get an approval. Instead, she threw up a poster that advertised their lunch hour and told me I would need to return when they got back even tho I arrived prior to. I could go on and on but you get the point....beyond unacceptable. When I spoke to the pharmacist, all she did was defend the pharmacy aid instead of apologizing and offering resolution. Clearly this explains why this has become a culture of unacceptable behavior at this location and why so many complain online. They truly just don't care... read more

I've never had an issue or a bad experience. Pat and his team have always been accommodating, patient, pleasant and always checking to help get the best price to save me money even when they are very busy. I appreciate Pat educating me about my prescribed medications and his great team doing their best and providing great customer service. read more

I always like the staff here that I interact with. Today is Super Bowl and maybe they have sick staff absent or something but I held on the phone for a medication problem for over 2 hours. Can't fix my medication issue online at Walgreens.com. After taking a break, called back and held for another 25 min before hanging up. They should do something abt this. Seems like Walgreens doesn't make Palestine pharmacy a priority. My prior record was holding for service for 45 min. I will have to drive 30 min over there I guess. read more

The regular Walgreens if fine, but I think the pharmacy is one of the worst places on Earth. Not only are most rude, there was this one girl with a blonde messy bun and big glasses complaining and cussing about how bad of a day it was. (Mind you, she was doing ANYTHING but her job.) She also say there smoking for at LEAST ten minutes of her 30 minute lunch break. The only reason I had to go to that evil place was to pick up ONE PILL I needed for my MRI. Now I'm screwed. Also I'm 17 with more common sense to know that 11am-2pm is one of the busiest time frames for pharmacies and that is not when everyone in there should be gone. My family all works in health care so I know it sucks but it wouldn't KILL to be slightly less selfish and not slam the door on customers who have been waiting for 30 minutes already. Used to use them, but I quit because they stopped being 24-hours, and they always screwed up my medication. But they seem to have gotten a lot better recently. Sometimes, they are the only ones who have the medicine in-stock that I need. Mirza Escobar and Awung are two employees who have been particularly helpful. They go the extra mile to make sure they find the medicine I need and stayed late after they were already closed to make sure that I got the medicine my daughter needed when she had run out. The only reason I give them 4 stars instead of 5 is because they're not 24 hours. read more

Scheduled appointments to get flu shots for my husband and i. Filled out the forms and showed up for the appointment and the pharmacist looked at us like we were crazy and said " we don't have the 65 and older flu shots !!?" So rude !! Why didn't they tell us that information in one of the numerous emails and texts they sent us ???? So rude !! read more

I ordered online for curbside, was not given the one free when I ordered 2 products as stated on the site. When I called inside they asked me to come back later as needed to find out how to handle. When I returned and called inside they came out and got my order and proceeded to do a return on the whole order and told me I'd have to go online and start over again or come in instead of ringing up my items and allowing me to pay for them right then. I am SEVERELY allergic to decorations in their store and can't go I. COMPLETELY unhelpful and uncaring. Disappointing for anyone who has handicap and they get treated this way. read more

Drove up to the pharmacy window. One car in front of me. I sat in line for 25 minute. That's unexplainable customer service. If the person at the window is going to take longer than a couple of minute, either they come back at a later time or drive around and get in the back of the line. PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT---If you are getting a prescription filled at WALGREEN'S in Palestine, Please, please check to make sure that the medication you are given is for you and is what you are supposed to be taking. Tonight at 7:17 pm, Don picked up a new prescription for me and it looked normally packaged. However, when I opened the paper sack, the medication label on the bottle was for someone else with a medication I have never taken. As soon as I noticed this, I called the pharmacy at 9:53 pm and asked to speak to the pharmacy manager. He was not very helpful and told me that he had to drive to Tyler back and forth 2 hours daily to come to our store and he was going to leave at 10 pm. After further conversation, he did relent and say he would wait for me until 10:15 pm so I could get my correct medication. When I got there, the pharmacy manager gave me my correct medication, but did not even say they were sorry for their mistake. All he said was that he did not do it, that it was the fault of his pharmacy tech. The medication I was given belonged to a lady from Athens and was for a heart issue. I'm already taking blood pressure meds and it scares me to think what might have happened to me if I had taken her medications. Thank you, God, for watching over me. Wish Walgreen's would have done the same! I expected better. read more

This is the place you go if you want to call in your prescription at 10am and low and behold when you decide to pick it up around 8pm they tell you they ran out of that medicine. They had my number and never called to tell me. I was so upset it was borderline amusing! Can you imagine if it could've been an important med you had to take? read more

Three times in the last 3 months, I have used the pharmacy drive thru, to pick up prescriptions. Each time I have had to wait in line not less than thirty(30) minutes. Even when you go inside to pick them up, it is SLOW, SLOW, SLOW. Called the corporate office in Illinois over 2 weeks ago, but have not heard back. read more

I picked up a perscription for my wife and was told my insurance didn't pay anything that I would have to pay full amount. I called my insurance company the next day and found they indeed paid on th perscription. I called the pharmacy and was told they couldn't help. They ripped me off because they were paid in full by me and by my insurance company. Crooks! They refuse to pay me the difference. They refuse to run the script info again.
