My wife and I decided to go try it and was shocked at just how great this burger is. The burger was also huge, half pound patty and large toasted bun. My wife and I could have easily have split this burger. The fries are also great. They are very crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. Great flavor too! They offer fries, curly fries or wedges. The burger is $7.49 and .50 for cheese. The best value is to get the basket with fries and a drink. Two cheeseburger baskets with drinks and fries was $22 but worth every cent.

There's a lot of cool stuff at this exit and it usually has the cheapest prices maybe alongside Bucee's a few miles to the north - or sometimes a little cheaper or more expensive. I've stopped at this gas station several times now and will probably do so again.

Easy access being located right on a major US HWY. it's open 24/7 and has plenty of fuel pumps. I've never had an instance where the pumps weren't working or questioned the cleanliness of their filters. This store is locally owned by a family that has deep roots in the town. Inside is always clean. There is a large selection of wines both locally sourced as well as large national suppliers. There's also a candy wall of assorted by the lb candy, an ice cream bar that serves blue bell ice cream, and other prepared lunches and snacks. There are also the usual snacks sodas and beer in the cooler. Attached to the convenience store is a Whataburger. This is a busy location and has had some growing pains but that is a separate review. The Whataburger and convenience store share a bathroom. I typically find that the bathroom could stand to have a little attention, but certainly not the worst in town. I actually drive a little out of my way to visit this location. I think it's worth it.

LOL This place was pretty cool for getting snacks and using the restroom. They were very clean, they even have a grassy area to so your pet can use the restroom too. The staff here are friendly and seemed to be having a great time with each other when I walked in. They were actively engaged in maintaining the place. There are TV screens on the pump. Definitely a great place for truckers to stop and get some rest. They had some parking areas for truckers to relax and get some rest. Their fuel prices were reasonable here too compare to other places we had stopped before on our route.

The convenience store also shares a building with the Whataburger in Malakoff, which I have also visited to eat in with friends or I went through the drive-thru window for takeout. There is also a doorway between the two places (the restaurant eating area & the convenience store), so you don't even need to go outside to go from one to the other (which is great in cases of colder or rainy weather!). I think the restrooms are on the Whataburger side, but I haven't actually seen them yet. I would definitely keep coming back here, since the pumps are well-kept, & so is the Whataburger eating area.
