If I could give less than one star I absolutely would! Two days ago I picked up my waggovy and didn't notice they filled the wrong prescription strength! There were two on file they filled the .25 percent when it should be 1.0. I explained this to the pharmacist and he proceeded to tell me well it wasn't my people's fault! I asked him why it takes 2 hours waiting behind 2 cars in the drive through to get your meds! He said well you're the first to say anything! I said sure call me a liar! He then raised his voice and said sir I said nobody has ever complained! I told him it's literally a running joke if you half to come to this pharmacy and go through the drive through you better pack a lunch! I told him he had a lot to learn about customer service and deescalation! He just looked at me! I told him forget the meds I will just go to cvs. He said that's absolutely fine! Worst experience at a pharmacy ever! The pharmacist obviously lied they have cameras all over the place and he knew people are waiting over an hour getting medication in the drive through! Walgreens needs to just close this location and regroup! They obviously can't hire enough quality employees! Don't go here under any circumstance! read more

Time was 9:58 after waiting in the drive thru for 45 minutes to pick up a prescription I was next only to get to the window to a sign that says "NO PHARMACIST ON DUTY". Who closes the lobby and forces people to go through the drive thru to have ZERO leniency to help the people depending on them. Could not be more angry at the pharmacy. My 6 year old daughter and I left the ER at 8:30pm with a script for meds. I had them send the script to this pharmacy since they closed at 10pm. I pulled in at 8:50pm and the line was long so I went inside and saw the sign that the pharmacy was drive thru only. I went back to the car and got in line at 8:55/9ish. The line moved so slow, but I finally was able to make it to next in line after sitting for over an hour. When I pulled up they had closed everything and completely ignored me when I was in tears asking if they could please just fill the script for my daughter whose eyes were swollen shut. I'm so angry and heartbroken for my daughter who now can't get meds until the morning. read more

I just went through the drive through to purchase Orajel for my child, & apparently i irritated the pharmacy worker because she had to go get it from the other side of the counter. She rolled her eyes in disgust & then shouted the amount when she came back to the window. I pick up prescription refills here quite frequently for my disabled mother, & this is a first I've really had someone be so rude. The pharmacy is closed half the time when they should be open, or only the drive thru is available and there is ALWAYS a line around the store. You can't ever get anyone on the phone. Sometimes the store is closed completely when they should be open. I don't know what has happened, but people NEED to be able to get their medications consistently and reliably. Was told by the tech at the counter that they were busy, understaffed, etc. and that I should go to another location down the street. Oh this place. No one would help me. I was looking for Popsicle molds. That was it. I walked in and the clerk at the front register, who was helping no one...said, "I don't know where they would be. You'll just have to look." Okay, so I did. I walked pretty much up and down every aisle. I went back to the pharmacy area to try to find another employee. Someone behind the counter said, "Can I help you find something?" I tell her what I'm looking for and she said, "I don't know. But not back here." Thanks. I may have never known that without your help. Same thing happened at the photo lab. The guy asked if he could help me I told him what I needed and he says, "I'm not sure if we carry those, but if we did they wouldn't be in photo." Based on the locations around, be it Walgreens, CVS, or Walmart, this is the best location around. They seem to check their messages faster thus filling your scripts faster, normally on the same day. They aren't ruder per se, they are faster because they are busier, which means they aren't taking 30 mins per customer to ask how you are. If you are good with walking/driving up saying your name and swiping your card you're good. If you need a slow dance before you hand them your money, go elsewhere, though I'd doubt that you could find it nowadays. read more

i am a 72 yr old woman with medicare and Tricare insurance Moore hospital faxed prescriptions to this store after an ER visit. This is the POOREST run pharmacy I have ever encountered ...I ended up sending my scripts to Chris Pharmacy to get them filled . Management needs to revamp Walgreens Pharmacy as staff is rude and poorly trained . I fully recommend Chris Pharmacy ...no problems there. read more

Not my normal stomping grounds but was at an Urgent Care on SW 139th with an ear infection at night on a weekend of course. Was given 3 scripts to fill, where do you do that at 10pm on the weekend? This Walgreens, that's where. It's a 24/7 pharmacy. You can either drive through or go in the store. I don't know if they lock up the front doors at some time, but I was there after 10pm & doors still unlocked. After hours pharmacies seem to be a busy place and this was no different. There were about 3 cars in the drive through so I don't know if they were dropping off a prescription, picking up a refill or getting cold medicine. There were about 3 of us at the inside counter. I was waited on promptly, got the information given, showed my ID and insurance card and was told it would be 25 minute wait. I sat in the pharmacy area to wait. It actually took about 35 minutes which is fine, I think the pharmacist really thought it would take less time, but they got busy. He had to call the Manager to come man the drive through and the counter so he and 2 others could fill the orders they had been taking. He even took time out to explain one of the meds I had a question about with a smile on his face. If you need a script late at night. I would go here. The store was well lit and everyone I dealt with was nice. Customers weren't scary or weird. Like me, they just needed some medicine. read more

This had to be the single most embarrassing experience and the most degrading experience that I've ever had at a pharmacy. Megan the pharmacist at the 24-hour Walgreens on South Penn has to be the rudest ill-mannered woman I have ever seen . Megan openly talked about my medications in front of at least nine other customers that were behind me and then begins to lecture me on my medications not knowing my physical limitations or my past medical procedure. I have been in chronic pain for many years. I was attacked at a dentist office during luch .I had to have wrist reconstructive surgery I have a plates in my neck for a broken neck I've had four ruptured disc and one herniated disc .I have been in the hospital 27 times for surgical procedures in the last 8 years ad I took myself off 75% of my medication over the last 18 months something I have been really proud of .Megan showed no regard for the people around me .Megan didn't care if one of these people is a drug addict that's going to follow me home and attack me for my medicine I will never step foot in Walgreens again . Megan had no right to lecture me on my medication she had no right to announce the types of medication I was on in front of other customers and as I can see from these other reviews this seems to be a trend at Walgreens on South Penn if this is happened to you please message me on Facebook I would like to know about your experience as I have sought legal counsel I would like to find others that there's been treated the same manner read more

I gave four stars only because the pharmacy tends to always be overwhelmed and takes forever. I do think that this particular location gets a lot of traffic, but as such they should maybe think about expanding the pharmacy space and staff. Otherwise, the rest of the store is great. I go in for something nearly every day, and they always seem to have what I need. The staff is super friendly and as I go often they've deemed me family. Love my local Walgreens. read more

There was a lady named Alyssa that was extremely rude she treats you as thou your a criminal trying to get pictures. I have purchased the rights to my photos but that wasn't enough. I have never had an issue with walgreens till her but if I have to do business in this area again I'd go to CVS. Things went much smoother with CVS and was less expensive. read more

I am beyond livid with this place. I switched my pharmacy over to here thinking it would be easier for me and I was so wrong. I switched over in July of 2015 and since then, I've had 3 very big complications with them. They have messed up my order so many times. I called last Thursday for my prescription. And they said they would have it that evening and I went in Sunday to get it and they didn't have it and said it would be in on Monday. I was already kissed cuz that's it the first time that's happened. I went in today (Tuesday) and they said they still don't have it. I asked to talk to the manager and they said she wasn't in. I asked for when she is in and they gave me two days of the week she is in. What kind of manager only goes in for two days of the week? The employees working said they don't have a request from me and that they don't carry my certain prescription in stock. That's when I told them that last time I talked to them, an employee told me he put a note in my account that I needed the certain kind and that I would not have a problem again. He was wrong. I finally told them I would be changing my pharmacy. I hate this place read more
