Pharmacy pickup line is inconceivably slow. I've waited in the drive thru for more than 40 minutes and I'm still not at the window yet.

Ordered distilled water from DoorDash. They gave them spring water and said it's the same thing. It's not. Need distilled for a medical device. Called manager to see if I could drive over there and swap the water out for the correct one. Simple? No! Need to have DoorDash deal with this. Ask for supervisor name and phone number. She tells me to google it and hung up on me. They have lost my family, friends and I as customers forever. Watch for www.Walgreenssucks.com. I'll have that page up by Wednesday. read more

Sadly, not terribly long ago this was a decent Walgreens. Yeah, the pharmacy was a little touch and go and it has only gotten worse. Today my son and I had occasion to go to this store at the intersection of 82/69 in Northport to pick up a parcel that had been sent to the store. There were only 2 people in the entire store. Someone had been helping an elderly couple with their photos but she just left in the middle of the assisting them?? I don't know where she went or why. I had to go get the cashier to help me. Bless her heart, she looked to be about 16 years old. Anyway, the store was filthy, service was very poor and I don't even want to speak about the pharmacy. Has anybody thought about hiring retired people who might want to work a few hours a week?? read more

very slow service all they do is talk and talk and talk and never working they need to hire some more people who is willing to help customers instead of talking and not working all I came to do is get my daughter medicine and it takes more than 30 minutes to get my daughter medicine I really don't recommend coming here because it's takes forever to get things done read more

TERRIBLE service!! Wait times are ridiculously long and they almost always tell you it will be 20-30 mins and to circle back around after you've already waited in line for 30 mins! But certain people get to sit there at the window for 20 mins while they go ahead and fill their prescriptions. I circled back around today and waited for a total of an hour and half just to be told the second time that they don't even have my prescription and won't until Wednesday. I could come back Wednesday though. Excuse me?? I'm sick. Wednesday doesn't help me. And they won't even call or check another Walgreens to see if anyone else in town has it! The ONLY reason I come here is to get my mother's prescriptions. I never use this pharmacy because of the extreme wait time. Ninety per cent of the time, the line to pickup your prescriptions is incredibly long-inside or outside. I have been coming here for 15 years, and you would think the service would have improved. Think again! I have also, in the past gotten my prescriptions mixed up several times. Oh, and NEVER try to call the pharmacy! They do not answer the phone. If they do answer, you feel as if a miracle has happened! read more

The 24hr sign needs to be removed from the building. I get there are staff shortages but that is everywhere right now. No business has an abundance of staff right now. But it also shouldn't be advised if there's no staff to cover it. And diverting customers to the pharmacy window when it's not a pharmacy need is unnecessary. When you can actually shop here, however, the employees are extremely rude. I get burn out but who isn't these days? It shouldn't show to the customer or be taken out on them. Do better! read more

Friendly, helpful, knowledgable employees (throughout the store!) Store kept pretty clean and presentable, too, & ALWAYS well-stocked!! When you ask for help you get it right away! Every time you enter the store you are greeted personally by the check-out clerk(s) at the front!! The staff in the pharmacy is great, too, but they NEED MORE PHARMACISTS!!!! They are woefully understaffed (or overworked!) for the amount of work they have to do!! I understand they have lots of work to do probably because their drug prices are some of the best/ lowest prices in town!! (A couple of years ago I price-checked my prescriptions in about 6 different brands of pharmacies in town, and Walgreens had the best prices for almost EVERYTHING, except for Metformin which is FREE at Publix pharmacy!) I think they need at LEAST 1 or 2 EXTRA people JUST to answer the phones inside of the pharmacy!!!! Never had a prescription screwed up!! read more

At least they've never gotten my RX wrong. The line inside is always long and the drive thru is just a waiting nightmare. I guess they just let people sit and wait for things because they let one car ahead of me sit in one lane while sending at least 4 cars thru in the other lane. This waiting happens to me OFTEN. I went to get my prescription filled at this location. It was an escript my doctor sent me a picture of. I was 1 puff away from falling out because I have copd. I was there to pick up a breo inhaler and showed the pharmacist behind the register, a smaller white lady, my prescription and there was a bigger "other shade of brown than me" lady there that I already asked if my prescription was sent there an hour before who ignorantly and loudly interrupted our conversation. She got aggressively loud and said in a rude, ignorant way 'I ALREADY TOLD HER THERE WAS NO PRESCRIPTION HERE FOR HER' smacked her lips, rolled her eyes, and the lady I asked said I was only asking if the address my prescription was sent to was that Walgreens, 3107 Lurleen B Wallace Blvd, Northport, AL 35476. Which was exactly where it was sent. I promise you I'll never use your pharmacy again. I felt like I was in the lowend of Chicago getting screamed at by some mad angry lady who apparently hoped I died in the store right there in front of her. My windpipes were closing. I couldn't take a breath. My eyes were watering and I had to drive half suffocating to Publix and have it filled. There is no reason for her to be so rude. It was so bad another female customer in the store was watching me and asked if I was ok. Check your pharmacist, because nobody deserves to be treated like a heroin addict over copd and albuteral inhalers in the middle of a severe attack. If you need more information I can send your establishment a picture of the date, time, and prescription picture I have. I can also tell you the exact time she yelled at me like a 7yo special needs kid which is exactly they type of child I have. Asd 7yo and she don't even get yelled at like that. read more

This place is absolutely terrible. Everytime we try to call they always end up putting us on hold and never answering the phone. I've even waited as much as an hour on hold until I've given up and hung up the phone and it's a never ending cycle of the same thing. Also, the drive thru line is always extremely long and you will be waiting in that line for at LEAST 30 minutes so pretty much only go there if you are NOT in a hurry. Same thing goes even if you go inside for your prescription. They have mixed up our prescriptions THREE times RECENTLY also. With birth control and anxiety medication. They left out an entire month of my sisters birth control one time and mixed up her anxiety medication with my mothers headache medicine. time after time after time they have screwed up and we are done with this place! read more

This Walgreens pharmacy is always busy. Regardless of the ridiculous wait times, the staff doesn't ever seem to be in a good mood--I'm sure due to the traffic of this location. Prescriptions have been wrong; wait times have exceeded quoted times; and they do not seem to be well-versed in multiple ways to pay for medication (I.e. copay cards). read more

Quite possibly the slowest pharmacy in the Tuscaloosa area. And continually messes up my insurance information, which delays refills of my prescriptions. As bad a pharmacy as Walgreens' app is good. read more

The pharmacist and techs are rude and ignore u,you can't get them on the phone, was waiting for 46 minutes before they answered. I will never trade with them again. I visited on May 11 to pick up a $3 order of photo prints that had already been ready several days. When I walked over to the counter, there were no employees at the counter and a lady already standing in line. She told me she was waiting on her order to print. While I waited and waited for an employee to ask me the name for my order, several store and pharmacy employees walked by and lazily yelled towards the back that there were customers in photo. This went on for several minutes, making it apparent that no employee wanted to come to the counter to do their job. When an employee finally did walk over, she continued to ignore me and started sorting through photos at the printing machine. She called several other employees and her manager over because the photos were printing without labels and she didn't know who they belonged to. At this point there were at least 5 people behind the photo counter including the manager, and I still have not been spoken to directly at this point. I finally speak up and state that I know my photos are already printed and that I am in a hurry. The cashier finds my order and states she will check me out at the front register, which she had left abandoned several minutes earlier to help with the photo fiasco. At this point there were three people waiting in line with carts full, and the cashier MADE ME WAIT behind all of them as she rung them up. At this point I had been in the store at least 20 minutes. I have continually experienced service like this at the Lurleen Walgreens both in the store and at the pharmacy, and I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. read more
