It was the red barn shaped building where you'd just pull up, get what you need, and go. Now, they've reinvented themselves as The Barn, and after blowing up on TikTok for their creative drinks, I knew I had to try their coffee. The Barn now offers so much more than your standard convenience drive thru. Their menu has leveled up with specialty lattes, dirty sodas, seasonal treats, and donuts. It was a crisp fall weekend and I was all about embracing the fall season vibes, so I went straight for a seasonal latte. The pumpkin spice latte came served INSIDE a real pumpkin! Not only was it super Instagram worthy, but the drink itself was a hit. Not overly sweet like so many pumpkin lattes tend to be. Definitely a fun way to enjoy a fall treat. My sister went for the Cookies and Scream latte, which was topped with a freshly baked Schmackary's cookie. She loved that it was both indulgent and flavorful, with the cookie as a decadent bonus. It's worth noting that these drinks are definitely on the pricier side. $38 for two lattes is a splurge, even by New York standards. But given the experience, and the fact that my drink was served in a literal pumpkin ... I can't say I regret it. If you grew up around Dairy Barn or just love a great seasonal coffee with a twist, The Barn makes for a fun, nostalgic visit. I look forward to seeing their Christmas specials.

I was screamed at by the man behind the counter saying I did not place the order the way I wanted it made. The fact that someone in customer service was screaming in a customers' face is a huge turn off as I went in calmly and did not raise my own voice when asking for the remake. The man that yelled at me could have calmly explained where the error was however he choose to yell instead of staying calm.

He acted like he pumped gas, then took my money... and this is where I should have paid closer attention because he charged me more than my car would have normally taken. I paid him and he waved me to get out quickly in a very nasty fashion. I didn't realize until I had pulled out that he never pumped a drop of gas. I came back not 3 minutes later (soon as I realized) and he actually accused me of going across the street to another gas station and emptying my tank. I'm waiting on the cops to come to resolve the situation now. What a stupid fiasco!! I offered to show him my empty tank and he just called me a liar. He is not interested in trying to resolve it nicely. Apparently he thinks in less than five minutes I siphoned a full tank of gas out of my car! LOL EDIT: police came and the officer was amazing. He listened to my story and saw I was a reasonable person and then attempted to talk to the attendant. He was not so reasonable. He insisted he gave me gas. I stayed calm and didn't talk to anyone but the officer who could see I had almost no gas in my car. It didn't seem like anything was going to happen in my favor and the officer told me small claims might be my only choice. He tried reasoning with the attendant again and looked at the receipt he printed out to prove I had gotten gas... it actually proved I didn't get gas. The cop was able to put it all together based on the time I called the police and the time he was dispatched and then the time the receipt said the transaction happened... which would have been BEFORE I was even there. He got the attendant to agree to give me my gas, and even to give me a refund because what my tank took was less than what he had charged me (my car only has a 12 gallon tank). The cop watched the gauge go up from almost empty and assured the guy I wasn't scamming him... that my tank really was almost empty and I never got gas. Me and the cop agreed it was probably just a bad mistake. The gas station attendant didn't agree and wasn't happy about giving me gas or a refund. He never once apologized. It worked out, but only after getting the police involved. What a shame. Im not from this area so likely wouldn't be back anyway, but I'll be sure NOT to ever go back even if I'm in the area for work in the future. I do want to say, the officer was AWESOME. He was so kind and helpful. Props to a professional and friendly policeman.

I truly do not understand the plethora of errors that happen in this store yet we still go for items other than pharmacy. The automated system is a disaster. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't but when it does work, it gives the wrong information. Having talked to so many physicians and locals in East Northport I don't believe I have ever heard a positive word since 2021. It's a shame, but so many of us go to a place a little bit further away, less convenient but much less aggravating. With the district office right next door I cannot understand for the life of me how people that are ill both physically and mentally cannot get the proper care!
