I've also been offered samples of products that I wasn't familiar with, so I appreciated that she spent some time asking about my skin type and fixed up two samples of a face scrub and moisturizer I might like. Thanks to her, I went from using an affordable Aveeno moisturizer to a $30+ Korres pomegranate moisturizer that I am now pretty sure I can't live without. It does help that this location doesn't have as much foot traffic. The displays are clean and well-stocked. And the associates aren't too busy or aloof to actually help you if you need it. Although they do not have all of the make-up lines that standalone Sephora stores carry, I've found that the products that I buy most are available here anyway.

I was surprised to see quite a few people in the store at this obscured location, but I guess it must be close to a lot of people there. This store is kept pretty clean, is smaller than the one at Fox valley mall, and also has fewer selections. During their $3 hand soap sale, they only had the non-foaming kinds on the shelf. There was 1 bottle of the foam soap, but it was leaking. The workers at the store are peppy and nice, as they are in most of the Bath & Body Works.

Let them know I'd be coming after work (literally told them I get off at 7:15 in Elgin) she said sounds good. Yesterday I get there at 7:45 and they were gone! No one was there. Called and sent them a fb message. Not once did anyone mention they stop taking walk in at 7:30pm. I drove 25 min each way. Gas is around $5 a gallon. Their response was even crazier. Blaming being short staffed on Sunday but that was irrelevant. Then also told me I have to pay for new jewelry even if it is their fault on sizing. I wanted to love them so bad. However, I have infiltrated said store several way. Those being: my two best friends, my bf. I've frequented CosmoProf several times and have always encountered friendly staff that's willing to come out from behind the counter to assist me with looking for nail polishes (I have the bf to retrieve my hair needs). The staff is always really friendly, even to an outsider like myself and usually chit chat w us while we browse. The prices are a-may-zing..I mean really, you can't beat $4.50 for a bottle of OPI. I also have gotten great deals on hair products such as $8 bottles of Aquage finishing spray, awesome sales on liters of shampoo and conditioners of all varieties and countless other products (ehemmm Quick Tan spray for $10). The only minor bummers are that a) they do not sell Essie, b) they sell out of OPI collections quickly (since this is beauty industry exclusive and those people are always quick to snatch up whatever's hot)..and c) I cannot shop here unsupervised, which may actually be a good thing since I'd surely head home with one of everything if I was left to my own devices.
