They pick up the phone without a greeting and put your back call on hold. After waiting on the phone patiently, the agent repeatedly puts the call on hold. It's really frustrating. When you finally get someone on the line, they don't listen to your request. I advised the agent that I needed to report a patient's death so they can close the account. The agent proceeded to ask me what prescription I was calling for to have filled. I had to repeat and explain again the reason for my call. Then she.said the patient's file will be notated. I hope she actually notates the file and things are appropriately closed out on their end.

Well the customer service was good - the person who helped me at the CS desk was friendly and well-informed (I joined online and she told me when to actually expect the physical card in the mail). Other than the CS rep, it's a pretty spartan experience and really just a bigger Walmart. Which duh. Waltons and all that. But it doesn't even have the stuff I would get at WalMart. None of the fresh or frozen foods were enticing to me. Many of the other products were slightly overpriced as compared to Costco or BJs. I did get some things for the convenience factor though: -humongous jug of Fabuloso -Dog treats shaped like churros (I love churros and so does Wesley) -eggs - And a Frigidaire portable fridge/freezer for the tractor trailer that I ordered online last week when it was on sale. I had to join the club to get the product. Ah - I've answered my own question. This place is best for one-off purchases. Verdict: Sam's prioritizes its house brand (Makers Mark) over all else. Many of these brands are actually big names in disguise. However I don't have the time or interest in seeing what is and isn't beyond a cursory internet look AND Walmart hasn't quite built up my trust enough on their house items (I'm still irritated at the Great Value pasta noddles I bought a few years ago) for me to go all in on Makers Mark like I would a Costco Kirkland item. So I predict I'll use my membership sparingly and strategically. You do you though.

Checkout is usually quick, especially with the Scan & Go option, which makes the whole shopping trip so much easier. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful, and the store stays pretty clean. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because some items can be hit or miss with availability, and a few sections get crowded during peak hours. Overall, it's reliable, convenient, and definitely worth the membership. I always find what I need and leave feeling like I got good value.

This Quick Chek is newly built, so everything is shiny and bright. The interior is immaculate as only a brand new building can be. It's super clean. The gas prices here are significantly lower than those at the only other gas station on Easton Ave., and this aspect alone has been a conversation topic in my neighborhood, with us all commenting how grateful we are that we now have another gas station option. The parking lot is big and has a couple stations to put air in tires. Quick Chek has a fantastic selection of food, drinks, and supplies. Their deli makes good sandwiches and soups, and this location has both outdoor and indoor seating areas. There's a nice feeling that comes with opening a new store, and I could sense the energy and enthusiasm of the employees, even very late at night. Everyone seemed in a good mood, staff and customers alike. I'm glad Quick Chek opened a store here and I predict they will be very popular. I plan to shop and gas up here a lot!
