0 stars if possible, I had called the pharmacy about prescription status and the lady put me on "hold" and didn't actually mute it & I could hear the other staff laughing & saying "tomorrow" "what makes her think she can get it filled today" ??? Not professional whatsoever, she never came back to the phone so I hung up and transferred my RX elsewhere. Will not ever use this walgreens ever. I do not know what is so funny about a customer calling about a prescription status? Rude beyond words. read more

I was vacationing in the area and I'm very prone to poison ivy, which unfortunately I got a bad case of it. My DR sent an electronic RX to the pharmacy near the resort I was staying at. I called the pharmacy and spoke to DeeJay. She was amazing making sure she had all my updated personal and insurance information and update accordingly. Deejay informed that they would have to order one of the RX for next day. I expressed concern that my poison ivy progressively get worse very quickly. As professional and friendly as Deejay was she told me she would call around to the other pharmacies to see if she could track down the medication that I needed. I'm amazed after an hour she called me and told me she located the medicine and transferred both medications to the pharmacy that had the medicine that I needed. After my first dose I felt immediate relief form the itching and now can enjoy my vacation. I can't thank Deejay enough for her quick action and professionalism!! She truly went above and beyond her job duties and for that I'm extremely grateful!! She is a huge asset to the Walgreens Pharmacy!! read more

My regular Walgreens on Rt. 501 in Carolina Forest could not fill my wife's prescription. They didn't have any pharmacist available!!! This is not the first time either. How does that happen? No backup pharmacist available for such a large chain store? So I came to this Walgreen's instead. The staff were very nice and appeared surprised at the news of the pharmacy closure. I gave them the information and they found our account in the computer. They said the prescription would take approximately 15 minutes. So I decided to wait and peruse the aisles. The store was neat and well stocked. The staff I ran into while I wondered the aisles were very polite and nice. Overall it was a great experience. I may change over to this store. It is a little farther away but I don't have to deal with the lousy traffic at the Rt. 501 intersection. read more

I have been using this pharmacy for over 5 years. Everything was fine until about 6 months ago. Their new pharmacy staff is abrupt and outright rude. Additionally, they suddenly are having difficulty filling prescriptions. They often either don't have the product or can only partially fill. Their telephone wait times are lengthy-even hours at times. I highly recommend using a different provider as this pharmacy clearly doesn't care about customer service! read more

I have been using CVS for my prescriptions for years. However, I have had so many issues with them and just dealt with it because of the convenience. The other day, I was told by the manufacturer of my medicine that I could get an authorized generic of the brand name prescription that I need. CVS refused to order the authorized generic for me, although I explained that the generic they carry did not work for me. I then called Walgreens 3 times within the last few days and spoke with Linda, Maxine and another lady, all very helpful employees. They ordered the authorized generic brand yesterday, received it today and filled within 20 minutes! They all were aware of the situation when I called each time, which was very helpful, as it was a complicated circumstance. Thank you for working with my specific needs and saving me $58 a month! read more

This pharmacy isn't even deserving of one star but unfortunately there isn't a zero star option. I've been a loyal customer of Walgreens for over 3 decades and have used this pharmacy for the past 10 years, never really experienced any major issues until about 2 years ago when everything went south. They are constantly out of medication and have to order the medication, my scripts are delayed by many days. I recently had 2 open heart surgeries and take around 12 prescription drugs a day, many are meds that I cannot be without. They're notorious for partial fills which messes up my co-pays or they outright lose scripts called in by my doctor. I've been waiting since Wednesday for medication called in by my doctor they said they didn't have enough to fill them and would have it Thursday. On Thursday they still didn't have the medication because someone forgot to place the order for it and Friday the pharmacist decided to call out for the weekend so the pharmacy is closed until Monday!!!! I'm definitely switching pharmacies. The CVS on 66th Ave. N. my next stop. Get it together Walgreens! read more

I sure have missed Linda the past several times I've been to pick up medication. Alexis (Lexi) is the rudest, most unprofessional pharmacy staff Walgreens has ever had. I've had 2 run-ins with her over my child's medication (as recently as yesterday). I waited at least two hours after my child's doc called in Rx before I called to see if ready. She quickly snapped at me and told me it was not in stock and that they would not have until Monday - 3 days later. When I requested that she forward to refill to another Walgreens, she pretty much told me I could do it myself or I could wait until she had time to do it. It's now more than 24 hours later, and I haven't gotten any resolution to my child's medication. This is his health in her hands and that's a crying shame!!! Get rid of her. She does Walgreens NO JUSTICE! read more
