Slow to refill any RX....they need days to fill even though they have more employees than other pharmacies. Always out of stock on RX as well. The staff up front is just as bad. Surly, rude and the Indian guy up front is always away from the register, has a nasty attitude and always focussed on his music that I'm surprised management allows him to blast. My daughter had such an awesome experience dealing with Nimish at the pharmacy here. What a knowledgeable, compassionate, kind, respectful gentleman he is. The set up is just like most Walgreens stores, with cosmetics to the right when you walk in and the refrigerated items to the far left. The store is clean, bright, and the standard Walgreens size. I didn't see any workers on the floor and there was only one cashier. It must not be one of their busier stores. They carry the usual merchandise. I did see that they have a whole Hispanic snack section that we don't have in Hawaii. read more

Walgreens north Milwaukee ave Libertyville is as incompetent as It gets. Read the reviews they have received I called to setup an appointment and the staff Was clueless as how to handle an Appointment. We called lakes pharmacy in mundelien and had no Problem setting up an appointment. That tells me the independent pharmacy is the way to go. The Corporate office at Walgreens needs to look at this Walgreens reviews and get training started or replace the pharmacy manager. read more

I went to Walgreens on 4/17/24, to pick up my prescriptions. I got a text telling me it's ready for pick up. I went to the drive up, and there was a sign saying the pharmacy was closed. The sign suggested to go to a different Walgreens. I go inside to ask why the pharmacy was closed. Apparently everyone at the pharmacy were on break, and they don't come back from their break until 45 minutes before they closed. To make things worst. When I was waiting at the front register to ask the cashier for a supervisor. The old Indian guy finished what his customer. When he got done. He was up to his wrist picking his damn nose. I told him I needed to talk to a supervisor. That's freaking disgusting. Review the security camera Walgreens, you'll see it. This was around 6:55pm. I had a run in with this guy last summer. I walked in, obviously from the outside. I gave him something I wanted to return. I specifically said "return." He ended up ringing the item up, like I was buying it. Then he blamed me for it, he said I didn't tell him. Which I did, and he saw me come in the front doors. This guy shouldn't be working there, specially when he's pretty much the face of the store when everyone has to deal with him when checking out. Safe to say that we are not going back to this Walgreens. My family and I will be transferring our prescriptions to CVS. read more

"The total lack of empathy by the pharmacy is horrible" Someone said that and I can't believe I have to agree with that person. I got such an arrogant response from the older blond lady who works there. That is really sad. Hopefully, they change their attitude learn to love people, or get a different job. They hung up the phone several times. Unbelievable. I will stop using this Walgreens for pharmacy. I learned my lesson. Walgreens Pharmacy at. 345 N LAKE ST. Mundelein, IL 60060. I went in yesterday, on a search for hand sanitizer as most of us likely are, and I wasn't sure where it would be located (and even though I was pretty sure they didn't have it being late Wednesday afternoon, I wanted to ask WHERE it would be located when they restocked so I knew where to go). I found a woman restocking hair dye, so approached her while maintaining my distance-I said hi and asked how she was doing, she looked up and stared at me. I went on and asked where the hand sanitizer would be, and she immediately blurted our "we don't have any", so I said "I get it, where is it when you do have it in stock?" And she pointed to the next aisle and said again "there is no hand sanitizer". She was extremely rude, and I understand we're in weird times right now, and she probably is asked many times each day about hand sanitizer-but deal with it with kindness, don't treat people like that when you work in a store that supplies the items everyone wants right now. There was no reason for it as I was very nice to start, so I will definitely NOT be returning to this Walgreens-they're everywhere and the Vernon Hills location has very pleasant staff to deal with! read more

Very nice staff and manager--very helpful. I was greeted with a hello and a smile. I was helped with finding what I needed and the manger even carried out the water to my car because I said my back was bad. I will be telling all my friends, family, and neighbors about my pleasant experience at Walgreens. In times like this, small gestures of kindness go a long way. Thanks so much! read more
