Pharmacy doesn't answer their phone...even when a doctor is calling and needs to speak to the pharmacist about a prescription being sent.

Terrible service. It's been this way for many years & continues to go downhill. Pharmacy has been understaffed, which I understand but after many years with no change it's seemingly by choice. Was on hold for 25 minutes waiting with "one call ahead of me" - I hung up. I called back 10 minutes later & say on hold for another 22 minutes before I hung up AGAIN. Wasted almost an hour for nothing. Unfortunately my Dr. sent a RX here, I've had the same exact insurance for 10 years BUT they texted saying we have no insurance info on file. I called TO PROVIDE WHAT THEY SHOULD HAVE ON FILE ALREADY. THEY CLEARLY IVNORE THE PHONE PURPOSELY. No exaggerations .... Refer to picture of the second phone call time on hold the whole time (with ONE caller ahead of me? BULLSHIT!) Option B was go in to the store & waste an hour waiting in line cuz they are always extremely slow & careless that they're being busy. They had a BUCKET catching water ON A SHELF IN THE ISLE due to the leaking roof (that bucket stayed for over 1.5 years) that should be a sign that the place is a dump. Go out of your way to take your business elsewhere if possible. The other reviews all speak the same words & poor rating that I'm giving. It should be no surprise. Bring back private owned pharmacies. The service was actually genuine. These chains don't give a damn about us customers. A complete waste of time here. Spend your money elsewhere. Pharmacy is so unorganized and a mess, waiting an extra half hour for just a flu shot is unacceptable, and then people who showed up AFTER me were being called for their shots BEFORE me. First time I excused it because the pharmacy was very understaffed but for it to happen multiple times is ridiculous, you're better off getting your vaccines somewhere else, these people will just waste your time read more

I mostly stopped into this Walgreens because their ATM is fee-free in my own network (yours may vary) but while I was here I took a few minutes to grab a quick candy bar and a bottle of water. Prices were okay, not great. The store was neatly organized. read more

This is by far the worst Walgreens I've every been to, but unfortunately its the closest. No one .. I mean NO ONE ever answers the phone. No one is ever working in the pharmacy, the wait is always insane. I've called and waited on hold for 25 minutes only to have the phone automatically disconnect on several occasions. After my last nightmare, super annoying experience with them, I'm switching pharmacies and would rather drive 10-15 extra minutes out of my way to go somewhere else. They are awful. read more

Yes Yes Walgreens is a chain but we all know some chain locations are worse than others. This location has a terrible makeup section. When I say terrible I mean 1/2 the stuff you are looking for is either out of stock or they just don't carry it. Also their photo editing and submitting machine works beyond slow. It took me an hour to select and edit 35 pictures one day due to the lag in the machine. The pharmacists that I have spoken with here have always been helpful and very nice. One was even able to recommend something that worked better than a Dr had recommended. read more

Most incompetent pharmacy I've ever been to. It doesn't matter if you use the automated call, speak to someone directly (if they actually answer), or order online- days in advance mind you - your prescription will never be ready on time. I've always used Walgreen in every state I've lived in, never come across a pharmacy like this. They are the only ones I've ever seen to actually lose a prescription. If there was a zero star option I'd select it. If you put in a prescription and they say '20 minutes' don't even bother coming back that day, it will likely not be available even the following day. If you have new insurance. . . You may as well try CVS because they have zero clue what they're doing. read more

This is the absolute worst Walgreens I've ever been to. The employees are rude, slow and inept. I have never been in line for LESS THAN five minutes at this place. This location also attracts many questionable customers.... The one on Rt. 20 is so much cleaner, friendlier and efficient. Avoid at all costs. read more

This is without a doubt the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. I was a Rite Aid customer and ever since the sale of Rite Aid to Walgreens my prescriptions have been screwed up. My doctors office has to resend multiple times each month to get all my scripts filled. The staff is unwilling or unable to help figure it out and they appear to be borderline incompetent with no customer service skills. I will be switching pharmacies. read more

NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN !! and maybe it's because of my skin color, but just read on guys.. Today I walked into Walgreens with my brother and as soon as we walk in, the manager of the store power-walks to the cash register and gets on the intercom, "Security walk the floor" 20 seconds later half the store is staring at us.. this is the 2nd time this has happened to me when entering this store, the first time I was with my 2 year old.. I would not even give this location 1 star but I had too. Once again the pharmacy is closed at 99 Granger Blvd in Marlborough. This is a joke. Every month when my meds are due I have a problem because the the pharmacy is closed. Walgreen must suck to work for because they can't keep there help. People need there meds. Who ever I spoke to was rude. I asked for the manager of the store not sure if she was or not. Who ever it was,was not a pharmacist and tells me that I should have extra on hand. FU lady if I have a 30 day supply and it's been 31 days where the fu..ck am I getting my extra meds. You dope! Once my refills are done I'm leaving Walgreens and going to CVS and I'll be telling everyone I know to do the same. I did speak to the Farm Rd. Walgreens and the woman who answered my call at the pharmacy was so so nice. Unfortunately I can't refill there because of the medication I'm on. It's sad because my family has been using Walgreens forever. For what ever reason they can't keep there pharmacist or help at the pharmacy. YOU better do better Walgreens! Ok, so we know that Walgreens will never be like the drugstores we knew and loved growing up. Gone is the cheery guy behind the counter ( we called the druggist) ...that knew you and your entire family.... But you would think Walgreens would at least try to be nice to their customers. With the exception of one nice older man, who I have not seen in quite a while, this Walgreens pharmacy staff is the rudest and most unprofessional group of people.... They have gone as far as to shout my personal information out for all to hear... AND accuse me of "overtaking" my medication - and they got an earful from my doctor on that account. I understand this is quite a stressful job....but if you can't take the heat, don't be a pharmacist at Walgreens! Seriously... I am working on transferring my scrips over to CVS.... It's a disappointment because I like the Walgreens store in general much more than CVS...but Im so done with this place... read more

I live right around the store so it's convenient to me, but not when the shelves aren't always stocked. The staff is always friendly and helpful, like I said the only complaint is, instead of occasionally standing around doing nothing they could stock the shelves...not just the seasonal/holiday aisle. One complaint that is not too relevant but grinds my gears is, if you have a big grocery list, DO NOT go to a small store such as Walgreens where most people by little here and there things. read more

One of the most attractive women I've ever seen works here. Though I've never seen her at checkout, just glimpses in the isle on occasion. Holy snikes. How any of the guys there get any work done with her around is beyond me. Other than that it's an average, older walgreens. Has a lot of stuff you can find elsewhere for cheaper but nice because it's convenient. Pharmacy is reliable and always has prescriptions ready when they say they will. Beware the Waffle Cone ice cream, it's addicting. And twice as much as the ice cream at the supermarket. read more
