I also have experienced some employees here who are not well trained and some quality control issues (I went to buy some slim jims and they'd all expired 8 months prior...), but overall a decent store. It's a fairly large Walgreens, but then again it's in the Midwest where land is cheaper and buildings are larger. My "what is normal" for buildings has changed a bit after living in the NYC metro area and then later the SF Bay area. You have aisles full of the typical Walgreens stuff, drugs, makeup, stuffed animals, etc. What interested me was the aisle of food. There selection was at least as good as a gas station with a long aisle with chips, nuts, chocolates, popcorn, and dried fruit. The glass cases have drinks and even ice cream if you want to get really decadent. The bathroom is down a long hall and they have one room. I hope by the time you stop you are able to h old it for at least a minute or two because you will need it to walk all the way down the hall. The store was fairly well lit and reasonably clean. All in all a decent stopping point.

The morning cashier seems to only be nice to some people - if you're under 40, she's not going to smile or be nice to you. Everyone else here, however, has seemed super nice. Employees will stop and ask me if I need help, and are super friendly, and are willing to go out of their way to help. It's one of the better Walgreens' I've been too.

I go to the Mankato Sam's Club as it is the nearest one for me. My experiences here have always…read morebeen great. I especially like the Scan-n-Go. It makes shopping so much easier, as there is no waiting in lines just scan your items on your phone and total and leave. I also use the ship to home option also. Even though one of the responders complained about this, I have found no problems so far. This is of the reasons I am shopping at Sam's Club; I was a member at Costco for almost 25 years in that time I had only one return of a product. I had ordered the Kirkland Protein drink which was wrapped in plastic if you picked it up at the store. When they shipped, they just wrapped it further in plastic, no box just plastic. When I received the package several of the paper cartons were crushed and leaking. When I contacted Costco the only recourse they offered was to send out another case of the product. I even offered to return the damaged case for a refund. I asked to have a supervisor contact me, no contact was made. I typically order the Tart Cherry Juice from Sam's Club, they are always double boxed, never had a problem with a crushed box. So yeah, I think Sam's Club is great.

Even if you are desperate to get this medication, they will not give you it as they have absolutely no good service here and everybody who works here are a bunch of assholes. The service here is absolutely terrible and horrendous. There is no one here and no one ever there to assist you, Walgreens is way better than you will have much better luck over there. Tech repeats it, husband says "that's a lie because they said they were filling it 2hrs ago!" Tech then says it'll be 20 minutes." I say "we'll go around and wait." We come back in 20mn and pharmacist (won't mention her name) IMMEDIATELY says "Are you (so and so?) then pokes a finger out at us and says "Don't ever talk to my tech like that again or I'll ban you from here" Husband says "for what? Saying he lied about "just getting the script when we KNOW that's not right?" (And NOT ONCE had we called the tech a bad name, or been aggressive or anything to even warrant this reaction from her) She goes on to say it's a que system and JUST came over from husband's doctor. Outright LIE AGAIN as we know his doc has been on vacation the last 2 weeks for holidays & the refill was already in the system for WEEKS! And SHE HERSELF had even said "working on it" when he called those 2hrs previous to get it filled!! So saying you're liars well...if the shoe fits don't be mad it does! AND she adds that my husband didn't say when he wanted it done (which she DID NOT ASK HIM when he filled it, and isn't it kind of COMMON SENSE that if you say you're "working on it" that it's safe to assume it'll be done within an hour or 2??!! ALSO...if you are working in a pharmacy...perhaps your techs shouldn't look like they run a side business selling drugs on the corner too! That guy was outright slovenly to be in a "somewhat" professional setting!
