So reading the past reviews for this Walgreens they do have low ratings. In my opinion, I think this Walgreens is great. They always have what I need and the shelves are stocked up. They always have great deals and helpful workers. I never had an issue here and come here for last minute things I need or health products. Parking lot is huge and workers are friendly. read more

Incident Report: Walgreens, April 18, 2025, 6:01 PM - 6:30 PM EST To Whom It May Concern: Today, I visited Walgreens to fill my prescription. After completing that, I scheduled a Lyft to return home. While waiting, I placed my food on a shopping cart near the hallway entrance of the store, keeping it with me at all times. An older cashier approached me and politely asked for the cart. I assured her I wasn't taking it outside, and she seemed satisfied with my response. However, moments later, another Walgreens employee--whose behavior is captured in the attached video--approached me in a far more aggressive and disrespectful manner. I removed my food from the cart, but her hostility escalated the situation. I calmly pointed out her lack of soft skills and called out her rudeness, which led to a heated exchange lasting several minutes. At one point, I remarked, "This comes off as very racist," highlighting the undertones of her behavior. Unexpectedly, a white male customer--bald, likely in his 40s, accompanied by a young girl--interjected from the checkout line, dismissing my observation by saying, "It's not racist." Despite his unsolicited comment, I remained focused on addressing the Walgreens employee. I firmly told him his input was unwelcome and warned him against escalating the situation further. His response was to criticize my language in front of his daughter, though he had inserted himself into a matter that had nothing to do with him. Throughout the incident, I stood calmly at the store entrance, making it clear I wasn't seeking conflict--especially given my recent surgery and physical discomfort. Yet, the energy directed at me felt steeped in "white privilege," , rudeness, ignorance, and racism altogether as if I were being treated as a threat simply for waiting for my ride. Shortly after, two police cars arrived as though responding to a major emergency. Officers separated those involved and took statements. One officer, a chief from Lyndhurst who knows me personally, helped de-escalate the situation upon recognizing me. Meanwhile, the male customer who had been so vocal quietly disappeared from the scene. Poor customer service from asking a simple question regarding inventory to the cash wrap. Joseph & Karen were the two employees working.

Shelfs are never fully stocked. Long edit to get prescriptions filled. Housekeeping is poor. Only thing that works is the store music. read more

Had the best, most efficient, experience with COVID-19 and flu vaccinations. They are always friendly and accommodating with regards to scheduled appointments even when I arrive too early. Would definitely return as necessary. read more

I'm actually surprised at the low reviews of this Walgreens bc it always exceeds my expectations. I put in an order for a poster & they went above and beyond to make sure i get in on time even though they didn't have it in stock. They even tried out alternatives and made sure i didn't leave until i was satisfied with the product. The staff is always nice and the pharmacy is really quick and responsive, the drive thru option is again convenient. read more

Just happened to stop in this Walgreens in Lyndhurst. I was surprised because name brands of allergy medicines, Flonase, Claritin, etc. were locked up. Similar Walgreen-brand products were easily accessible and not locked up. There is not that much of a price difference between the store brand and the name brand. You have to ring for an associate. I am used to the decongestants being locked up but this is really overkill and seems to be done not for security but so you buy the Walgreen brand. read more

I was walking in with five other friends of mine when a young worker had rudely told us that we weren't allowed in together. We were forced to go in 2 at a time while the rest waited in the cold. When two people left me and one of my friends walked in and she still yelled at us to walk out since two of our other friends were also inside but on the other side of the store. So instead the 10 minutes trip to the store took half an hour. Horrible service from the woman. read more

My pharmacy recently shut down so I had to find a new one. CVS is literally the worst... so I thought I'd give Walgreens a try. They're just as terrible. Staff is super rude and unfriendly. Dropped off my first script, which they didn't have in stock. They never called or texted which I requested to let me know when it was ready. When I called A WEEK later the lady tells me it's $107 with insurance. Like why wouldn't you call me to tell me this so I can contact my doctor and figure something up. Def never going back to them. This Walgreens had an uncomfortable environment, rude associates both in store and on the phone. They do not try to help you find what you are looking for and also they never answer with respect. Attitudes are unacceptable and I feel that there should be a change in staff due to the rudeness. Also it isn't very clean and they are nothing but lazy. They rarely move to help and they are always grouped together in the back of the register and not give guidance to where an item is located. DO NOT SHOP HERE! read more
