WORST pharmacy in Lansing! Always short-staffed and seemingly on a "meal break". I have intentionally tried picking up prescriptions at different hours of the day and it never fails that when I get there, it's during a "meal break" that is supposedly from 1pm-2pm, but regardless what the schedule is supposed to be there is always ONE person working and they're on their "meal break". If they could get zero stars, it would be more accurate, but since they accept Care Credit, I am happy to give them 1 star. read more

Bought a deluxe ear wash system for 31+ dollars got home opened the box and it was wet inside?... Thought something inside broke or come open but nooo... It was missing a med packet and the spray system was already put together,soo.... That means someone used it brought it back and Walgreens resold an open package THAT WAS USED!!!!!! Can anybody say covid , hepatitis, or worse. read more

Showed up at 3a to get an emergency inhaler - "CLOSED DUE TO STAFFING ISSUES" sign on the front door. This is probably the 4th time this has happened: where I come here late at night or early in the morning and for whatever reason they are closed (due to staffing issues). read more

Dont waste your time here. Guy with the glasses and 3 crosses tattoo will NOT use your proper name and pronouns. He fakes like he doesnt have that stuff in the system to bait you into deadnaming yourself. He also is just incompetent about how insurance works. Nobody there seems to know how medicaid works at all. Going there for a year felt like dying a million small deaths. read more

Long lines and gross incompetence. I've been trying to get Walgreens to fill a prescription that my doctor sent in 4 months ago. Every time I talk to someone they give me a different reason why they couldn't fill it. They sound like they know what they're talking about, but each time the Rx still doesn't get filled and then the next person tells me something different. I've had to ask my doctor to send in the Rx 3 different times based on Walgreen's instructions. Today they said my doctor needs to send it in again...the way it was originally sent 4 months ago. I give up. Any pharmacy has to be better than Walgreens. Location was convenient for me, but they can't get it right and the lines to pick up prescriptions are looooong and slow. I'm done with Walgreens. read more

Wow! I am so impressed by this pharmacy. I needed medication in the middle of the night and the doctor recommended this pharmacy because it is 24hrs. It is the only 24 hour pharmacy in the area they know of. What impresses me the most is the level of counseling from the pharmacists. When we first picked it up, they gave us very good information about the medicine. A few days later, I received a phone call. It was a Walgreen's pharmacist checking in to see if I was experiencing any side effects of a new medication I had started a week prior. He warned me what side effects to look for and when to notify a doctor. I have never received such phenomenal care from a pharmacy. I wish it were closer to my home! read more

I went in for a free Covid-19 test. Started giving my information, phone number, medical card,that kind of stuff. Was not told to wait, the person just walked away after giving me my belongings. I sat in the area provided for 12 minutes while other customers were helped, then thinking how rude this was I left. The person/being that had "helped" me called an hour later wondering why I had left and telling me that I could now pick up my test. I refuse to ever go to that place again!!! They're customer service is non existent! In short, Walgreens pharmacy on Saginaw and Waverly is messed up!!!! read more

Constantly short staffed and can't deliver what customers pay for. I paid the $8 extra for same day home delivery which was supposed to be delivered by 6pm. It wasn't. When I called them they said there was no one there to process the delivery until Monday (today is Sat). Totally unacceptable and not the first time they've screwed up an order or delivery. They can't seem to be able to retain staff (a staff member told me recently that 11 employees walked out in one day without giving notice). I'm done with Walgreens. read more

I wish I could give 0 stars. I had one of the worst customer service experiences of my life. All I wanted was a flu shot, and according to the pharmacy, my insurance expired (which is not true). After calling my insurance right there in the pharmacy, they told me that there shouldn't be any issues, I eventually had to have my insurance company talk directly to the pharmacy manager, Sidney who proceeded to put my insurance on hold for 45 minutes while he helped customers in the pharmacy. After all that time the answer I received from him was, "they (insurance company) weren't helpful, sorry there's nothing I can do, the subscriber has to call them." Fast forward a day when my mom (the subscriber) called the insurance company and ended up doing a 3 way call with Walgreens. They proceeded to tell her that they don't have permission to talk about me, they need to talk to me or have me to come in. I WAS JUST THERE YESTERDAY AND YOU TOLD ME THAT MY MOM HAD TO CALL. After my mom explained the situation, the pharmacy manager (different person this time) said they can't do anything and HUNG UP ON MY MOM. Walgreens had also ran my claim for a flu shot under me as my mom's spouse when I stated our relationship and other information explcitely. Very disappointed in their customer service. read more

They literally said 30 minutes for a boxed prescription which they didn't even have to make and then we came back and they said "no one even started it yet" had it sent to another pharmacy. Also everyone in here is on drugs including the young pharmacist with dark hair and the customers. Never come here read more

Supossed to open 24hr and closed all the time. Have to wait over and hour even when you get texted your prescription is ready.

I am submitting this negative review because on Sunday May 31, 2015, during my visit to Lansing, Michigan, my Mother received a telephone call from the Pharmacy at this Walgreens location stating her prescription was ready. She was happy to hear the message because she suffers from a number of illnesses and takes approximatley 12 prescribed medications daily. We arrived at the Pharmacy exactly one hour later. No one knew who called her, much less which prescription she was supposed to pick up. We waited nearly 45 minutes and still, no success. This Pharmacy regularly got my Mom's prescriptions mixed up, misplaced, or something would go wrong on a monthly basis. My Mom is a senior citizen and also disabled. Therefore, it is a major inconvenience for her to get to the pharmacy and things not be correct. We understand "mistakes happen" but every month for 3 years seems excessive to us. Thankfully, my Mom got fed up and has transferred her prescriptions to another local pharmacy. read more
