I had always been curious about this shop and you can't really tell much about it from the outside because the windows are blacked out. In the spirit of adventure we decided to check it out. Lining the shelves are baking mixes, crisps, sauces, seasonings, tea, pantry items, cookies, jellies, and British souvenirs. They had a large selection of candy for Easter and my daughter and I had fun picking out sweets to try out. Some of our selections included Cadbury Double decker, Fruit Gums, Chewits, Nestle Yorkie, Swizzles Refreshers, and Poppets! The British Depot is a family run business and we had a nice chat with Bryan who was covering the store while his daughter Chelsea was away on her honey moon. Walgreens has many different types of products while still feeling small, is located close by at all times, and does not suck my time away like the bullseye store does. Walgreens's discounted items call out to me with a fluorescent orange sticker. This is helpful but also dangerous. During my last trip, to pick up medicine, I stopped at the Burt's Bees section 'on the way' to the medicine aisles, and grabbed a lipstick on sale. Then I noticed a pack of lemongrass 'natural' soap on sale from 'Ology', Walgreens 'natural' brand, and grabbed that. Then I noticed some Burt's Bees lotion marked half off. Did I need any of these things? No. Did I buy them? Yes! At this location, the staff is friendly and helpful. There is always plenty of parking, and it is easy to get in and out of the parking lot from at least 4 different places, making it easy to get in and out of in multiple directions.

I had an issue with a very important Narcolepsy medication that was not being filled on date due. After waiting on hold for almost 10 minutes, I was told it was "too early" to refill the medication, yet my last pickup was on 8/24/26, I called on the pharmacy on 9/25/26 about the issue. I was told by Walgreens pharmacy department that Florida Blue is getting strict with early refills and that it was not time to process my request. I was confused because I was told that since I filled my July prescription only 2 days early, that I should have extra medication, and would not fill my medication as scheduled to be ready by 9/24 latest. (Maybe she didn't account for both months having 31 days). She told me an early refill for this medication would have been $700!! I was told that the pharmacy would reach out to my insurance, but heard nothing. I was left calling my insurance that informed me there was no issue with getting my refills and a simple 5 minute 3 way call cleared it all up in less time than I waited on hold to speak with Walgreens. This is a very alarming situation as skipping even one dose could lead to a major issue. Walgreens, please do better.
