What a poor excuse for customer service. I called to have them transfer my prescriptions from CVS. They got about half of them. When I called to give them a list of the ones that were missing, they told me to look up CVS phone number. We are talkig about thousands of dollars per month. Too much trouble to look up a phone number. I know it's hard to find employees, and when you do, many are lazy, but...WOW! BTW, CVS is awful too. read more

Customer service is SO BAD at this location. I stand in line for 10 min up front since they only ever have ONE person working at a time, so i go back to the pharmacy so I can try to get home fast to a sick child and the blonde women pharmacist told me she couldn't check out my stuff because she's the ONE person working back there and it was inconvenient for her. Then I go back to the other registers still waiting then they finally decide to open another register and they ring me out at a computer that doesn't even work, have to void my whole purchase and restart on a new computer. I rather drive down the street to the other location it's 100 times better and I've never had a single problem unlike this location. read more

I have used this Walgreens pharmacy for many years but lately the customer service in the pharmacy department has been terrible. I was in the drive through one day and had to wait for ever for them to take care of another customer. No mention was made about how long I had to wait by the techician. "Sorry for your long wait" should have been said. I went to just drop off a prescription this morning. Once again I had a long wait even though there were at least five employees working behind the counter. I went to pick up the prescription at 5:00 pm and there were at least six cars in the drive through so I didn't wait. I went back again at 7:30 pm and there were at least six cars in the drive through again. read more

Terrible customer service. I called this store to ask a simple question, not only was I laughed at but I was also told, "cool." I don't think this is how you should talk to people in general, let alone someone asking a simple question, or especially a customer. Ridiculous. I definitely will never be back to not only this store, but probably all Walgreens'. It is not a hard thing to be nice to people, and thank you for ruining my entire day Walgreens. read more

I am extremely unsatisfied with the service I received in the Pharmacy at the Jacksonville,IL location. I normally fill my prescriptions at the Walgreen's in my home town, on occasion I have to use Jacksonville,Il 24 hour pharmacy. This time I had to fill there since I was leaving town at 4a.m. for a week. My doctor printed both my scripts on the same sheet, one was due at an earlier date and the other was due yesterday, I filled one in my town, and there the pharmacist cut out the other so that I could fill at any Walgreen's(which would become due while I was was out of town). I drove 4 hours to and from Jacksonville to fill my medicine so that I would have it ready to go, and able to leave for my trip at 4a.m. (my home WG pharmacy doesn't open til 8a.m.) this was my only choice, otherwise I would be without for a week. I get there and hand her the signed prescription and the pharmacist refuses to fill it. Her reason is because it wasn't the entire full sheet. Back home WG cut out on the dotted line this script and assured me any WG will accept, it was the entire script, nothing was cut off all info was there including signature, it even still had the black border around it, included the fill date and everything. I explained that Walgreen's did that because the whole sheet included a separate script which had been filled 2 weeks prior, and they assured me it will be accepted as the script itself is intact. I drove all this way, over $50 in fuel, and now plans have to change with leaving for my family trip early that morning. My parents were driving and set to leave at 4a.m. and I had to have my medication for the week. The pharmacist refused to listen, she stated she cannot accept a script that has been damaged, (it was NOT) It was separated from the other scripts on the same sheet, which all had their own boxes/borders by another Walgreens pharmacist in THE SAME STATE. I explained to her I will miss my trip because of this, she said and I quote "Not my problem, take it back to the pharmacy who cut it out, they shouldn't have done that". The next morning my family is loaded and ready to leave, I explain to them I can't leave until after 8a.m. because of my medication delay, My family couldn't not wait for me, it would put them 5 hours behind schedule. Everyone was upset and disappointed. Once my home Walgreen's pharmacy opened I handed the script over(this wasnt the same pharmacist who cut out and approved my script) she accepted the paper no problem and I watched her slide it through the scanner no issue and picked up my medicine 30 minutes later. When I picked up I explained to the pharmacist what happened in Jacksonville and how it made me miss my family trip, she was appalled, and couldn't believe they wouldn't accept it, she seemed to understand my frustration and inconvenience, she also stated she didn't understand why there was an issue because there are no laws or policies that prohibit accepting the script I provided. By now my family is half way to Colorado, I've looked into flights(Ive never flown before) to try and make it there some how, and have no luck, no affordable flights to get me there in time. This trip meant a lot to me, I havent been on a trip with my family in years, I took off work, and we had plans there, as well as getting to visit my Aunt who lives there, who I've only had a handful of opportunities to see and visit. If Walgreen's actually takes the time to read this, I would appreciate they treat this a serious matter, and take the responsibility in correcting situations like mine, for example, all policies need to be clear and need to be consistent, Especially within the same state, something as important as this, as important as being able to fill important medication or refusing, needs to be addressed so this does not happen to anyone else. Yes I missed my trip, and missed a week of work for nothing, but at least I have the medication I need, thanks to my home Walgreen's, the situation could have been much worse had I chose to fill it after we got on the road and had it refused, then my health would have been at risk with very little options, and my family possibly forced to turn back home and everyone miss the trip and meeting my aunt. Please Walgreen's make sure all your locations are on the same page, and up to date with important info. This is my first online review for any business, the reason for it being here is because I couldn't find a good customer service number that allowed me to speak to actual person, they were all automated and required me to enter my receipt code to proceed, which also states the review must match the location of receipt, I wasn't going to leave a negative review for My home Walgreen's as they did nothing wrong in my opinion. I believe the Jacksonville pharmacist failed to take time to look into their "polices" and failed to listen to me, I feel they should have number they can call anytime for miscommunications. read more
