However, on my last cleaning, the hygienist found the start of some decay around the margins of an existing bridge. Steps in Dr. Banks!!! He set me up an appointment with him personally as this was going to be a particularly tricky case. And, knowing what I know, I knew he was right. Long story short, he fixed and saved not only that tooth but the entire bridge, saving me a lot of grief and money. As it turned out, it proved to be trickier that we even thought. In the end, I was super impressed. Kudos to Dr. Banks! My lab was in the DC metro area and, over the years, I got to know at least 100 dentists and was very familiar with the caliber of their work. Out of all those dentists, there were probably 5 or so that I would want to go to, not because the others were so bad but because those 5 were so good. They were my top picks.
