I was like no I will receive my refund in cash talking because I came at night it shouldn't matter whatever time of day. They say they have medications in stock and then they don't and cannot tell you when they will come. Even when they have your medication, they delay filling prescriptions for days for absolutely no reason. I have never written a yelp review before but I was so upset by this pharmacy I felt I needed to. Find another pharmacy. They are incompetent. I have never experienced this before. read more

This is a review for the drive thru coronavirus testing: Everyone is doing what they can but there are some things you should know before you go. Having an appointment doesn't mean it will be a quick process. We had a 9 am appointment and showed up at 8:50 am (directions said to arrive 5 minutes early). The line of cars waiting was already 0.4 miles long based on google maps. There are police cars patrolling around telling people to get out of line if they do not have an appointment. Imagine the people at the airport arrivals telling you to keep moving. The officer we spoke with was helpful. After moving 0.1 miles in 1.5 hours, we finally gave up and abandoned our appointment. Full disclosure, we have no family here and brought our 19 month old toddler with us and he was finally starting to lose it (totally stupid in hindsight). I don't know what I was expecting given the crisis that the world is experiencing at the moment. Having gone through this, I would definitely prepare differently next time with snacks, drinks, and some shows downloaded on Netflix. read more

I advise you to pick another pharmacy! They closed to due to COVID-19 testing which I get, but why didn't they call me to switch my prescriptions. I was just there a week or so ago picking up another prescription through the drive thru during testing and nothing was said to me about them closing. Worse customer service I have ever dealt with. **DO NOT RECOMMEND** Location of the pharmacy made it an ideal neighborhood choice. Grade A for location and an F for everything else. Tonight was one of the worst pharmacy experiences I have witnessed. My wife had ordered 4 prescriptions and went to the drive through (I was in the passenger seat) to pick them up (Walgreens app showed 1 was ready, 2 were in process and 1 was out of stock, coming soon). She was told that the 1 out of stock and time to restock was unknown (which is another story). The pharmacy technician proceeded to report that 1of the other medications would not be available until Monday after 4 pm. My wife sternly (and very upset) told the technician that she needed the medication today and asked to talk to the pharmacist. The technician walked away to what we thought would result in the pharmacist coming to the window. After a few minutes, the technician returned with an update (no pharmacist) that the medication would be ready in 20 minutes. Why does a customer have to press (or become upset) to receive a prescription that was in stock? Walgreens needs to update their front line training to arm technicians with accurate information since they are mainly customer facing. It is not fair to customers or the front line pharmacy technicians. Until this location updates the training of their pharmacy staff, we will not be filling our prescriptions there and are looking elsewhere. read more

This is for the Walgreens Covid Testing section, you will need a appointment and I suggest coming in 20-30mins early from what the time of the appointment. The lines stayed in the parking lot and it wasn't too bad. The nurses were helpful and I got my results back within 2 hours. A large improvement from earlier months. read more

Strangely, none of the CVS around me are open 24/7, however the Walgreens are. This is the closest location to my house and I was in desperate need of car alarm batteries. And how is this so? Well, my fiancee had been ignoring her warning to the point that the battery had completely died. So she was unable to unlock her vehicle or start her car without some assistance. When we checked out in the pharmacy section, the cashier was really nice and friendly and knew exactly what I wanted when I asked for walphed. Dropped off two prescriptions and was told they would be ready at 4:45. Left work to pick up at 5:30 and was told they weren't ready and asked to wait 15 minutes. No big deal. Get prescriptions and it was actually prescription, they didn't fill one. Call back and they can't find it. Put on hold and hung up on so I drive back and am told they "found" it but can't fill the same prescription I've been getting for two years. Two me this in the beginning and we are good. No problem. I went to Walgreens on Broadway around 5:45 pm on 8/21/2020 to purchase a couple of items, there were a couple of customers in the store without face mask or any face covering of any kind. There were two cashiers & a security guard at the front of the store and I asked them why weren't they enforcing the face mask/covering orders. I was informed by the two cashiers that they were told by corporate office that they could not tell or require customers to wear a face mask or covering. The security guard said that he could not doing anything about it either, basically saying it was not his job. Which I truly don't understand & is totally unacceptable. We are in a National Pandemic & this store has been closed down before for being infected with Covid 19. For God sakes this is a pharmacy, which is designed to provide services & product s to improve health of our community. This is so disappointing & heartbreaking. If Walmart, Sam's and Metro Bus system can require customers to wear mask/ face covering I truly do not understand why Walgreens can not do the same. Covid 19 is a very serious & dangerousness virus, unfortunately this is a very personal matter for me because my husband has a compromised immune system & on top of that my father is dying from complications associated to Covid 19. I have gone to Walgreens for many years. Walgreens on Broadway at Belfort. Recently the store including the pharmacy have changed their store hours to close at midnite. I have gotten pretty good service until recently. I have gotten my prescriptions there for years. For about a year now the service in the pharmacy has gone down a great deal. I have often called after 6 pm and never get an answer. I must check on prescriptions coming or find out something urgently important. I was waiting over an hour and never have the pharmacist or assistant pick up. I have then driven to the drive thru to find no customers at the counter or at the drive thru and the pharmacist is there working and the phone looks off the hook or on hold and while I waited noticed that he or she did not look overwhelmed or overly busy yet my calls were ignored. Right at this moment, i have been waiting for someone to pick up to answer my important questions. The music on the phone has only the same few bars playing over & over. It is 6:02 pm and and I started waiting 1 hour ago. At this time of day there are 2 assistants and at least 2 pharmacists. What gives? I have called other Walgreens and I reach a person who can answer my questions with 5 rings and usually I'm not being put on hold. Walgreens at Broadway has come down allot as far as customer satisfaction. I'm not important to these people and I think they could care less about having my business. read more

I went to purchase cigarettes on Sunday afternoon. The checkout person "Brianna" scanned my credit card to which I already knew my magnetic doesn't work here so I asked her to enter it manually as I have had other staff and Management a hundred other times previously. She declined so I asked to speak with management. In the mean time (the manager was outside of the store and someone went to get him) She began to question me as if I'd never been in the store before. She then began to "Passive Aggressively" try to berate me into a shouting match to which she began saying "Your angry! I need you to leave the store", "I'm scared" I stood there silently staring at this stupid-ass, disrespectful employee and stated " I asked to speak with the manager ". She shut her mouth the minute the manager entered the store and tried to play the "I can't help this Customer at all", game. The Manager, Jaime was NO help whatsoever! I have had other managers there help me with my purchase and show employees how to work the register. I have experienced the same problem several times at this same store but this was the first time that Staff and management was lazy, rude, unprofessional and discourteous towards me.
