I had an 11:00 am appointment for a flu shot. I notified Walgreens via their app that I was there, and notified the pharmacy in person. I sat for 45 minutes watching customer after customer be served. The lady at the counter had to "remind" the male employee twice that I was waiting. I decided to wait no longer and informed them to forget it and left. Minutes later the make employee called me that my shit was ready. He said they were "busy". I informed him that's what appointments are for. Then shot boy got dramatic and pissy and hung up. This is nothing new here. Never again. read more

I ordered a canvas print, along with 27 photographs on November 1st, 2025 for my 10 year wedding anniversary. They told me the photographs were ready the day of, about ten minutes after making my order. The order reflected that the canvas print was not ready yet. I called for 3 days trying to get ahold of the photo department only to be told the photo department was not available every time. Finally, on Tuesday, November 4th, I got a person on the phone and they told me my order would be ready Friday, november 7th. I asked to speak to a manager. He assured me they could have the order ready in ten minutes, and that his staff was new, and was getting the size of the canvas wrong. They were seeing 11x14, when I ordered 12x12. I came in to get it about 30 minutes later, and they told me my order was not ready. They rushed my order out, and gave me an extremely messed up canvas. The picture was bulging off the wooden frames, and the picture was all pixilated. I asked the manager on duty, Mike, for a discount on the order, and he basically told me to go f*ck myself. The supervisor on duty, Lee, was extremely nice and really tried to help me out. Mike was an absolute work of art. And not a good one. I finally talked them into giving me a refund because it was so messed up, at which point I watched Mike throw my canvas into the trash. Walgreens on Spartanburg hwy hendersonville nc.....the worst pharmacy service ever and the pharmacist and older lady was so rude and disrespectful....the other lady with numerous tattoos she was doing nothing and didn't wait on me mind u I was the only one in line. The other girl was working window and she had plenty of time to wait in me while the person at window was waiting patiently for his script that the pharmacist was working on....they all 3 just left me standing there forever. Every time i call i wait over 30 minutes to an hour just to get hung up on. The older l lady pharmacist is just plain hateful and not someone that should b taking care of customers with questions God forbid. What is the problem with this pharmacy iy use to be so good and great customer service....now it has gone all to bad,bad,bad.ill b looking for another pharmacy..even tho I have been a loyal customer for 7 plus years.​ read more

Prescription was called in over 2 hours ago. The pharmacist told us the prescription order was received from the hospital but hasn't been typed in yet. I'm happy to say that the pharmacist worked hard to get our prescription filled as quickly as he could. read more

The "WORSE" Walgreen pharmacy Ashville Hwy., Hendersonville, NC "WORSE COMMUNICATION" that I've ever had to deal with...I understand they are short staffed & I try to be patient understanding but my time is important also, besides needing my medication.. I have made 3-attempts to pickup my medications & Pharmacy CLOSED early twice & even entire store CLOSED past Sat. @ 3:00.. So again today I make an attempt by calling pharmacy was on hold with automated system for 38-minutes "saying your next caller" ... "NO LUCK" they were "CLOSED" It would have been very nice if there phone recording had said that instead of "Your the next caller" 38-minutes LATER on hold.... There PHONE system SUCKS.. read more

They have a Fed-Ex return center and can't even figure out how to use the system. Staff wouldn't even try to troubleshoot the problem.

This app states hours that are NOT accurate. went by last Saturday at 6:40, and they were closed. I worked here one month and the staff was rude and disrespectful. It should be a team. July 12 I was in a near-panic mode to get my wife's medications after she had been released from the hospital. I tried to call the pharmacy about the matter, as I wasn't sure if the prescription had been forwarded from the hospital's doctor who gave my wife her release order. I called at 7:25 p.m. and the "phone robot" told me there were two more callers in front of me to be served... still holding... then one more caller in front of me... still holding... then as of 7:45 p.m. it "appeared" I was going to be the next person to be served. I continued on hold until I hung up at 8:05 p.m., as their WEBposted pharmacy hours indicated they close at 8:00 p.m. The next day I drove up to the pharmacy to see if the prescription had been received/filled. Thank goodness it WAS there. I told the person serving me at the drive through about my ordeal during the prior evening. She said in a nonchalant manner they had closed early... at 6 p.m. on the prior day. SHEESH! Why do they not TURN OFF THE DOGGONED PHONE ROBOT IF THEY ARE CLOSED?!!!!! read more

You would think that I would have learned by now that the pharmacy department has still not improved its customer service. The reason why I went back was due to location (Laurel Park), but by golly I will remember this experience and drive double the time in the future. The pharmacy staff are not friendly. The female pharmacist with grey hair even made a snarky comment to me when I asked a question. It is clear that she does not like working there, and it comes across in a big way. The techs were fine, they do their job. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else where the employees take ownership at their place of employment. read more

I paid for my prescription refill online through the Walgreens Express feature and after waiting 30 minutes to get to the pharmacy cashier they told me they couldn't give me the order because I'd paid online. They refused to hand me the prescriptions unless I payed again there in the store even though the full price was already paid online. Customer service keeps putting me on permanent hold and refuses to resolve the issue. I've been told the only option is to wait 5 calendar days without my prescriptions or to double pay now and wait for a refund, which I can not afford. This is beyond unacceptable and no one at Walgreens is willing to do anything to fix their mistake. read more

They are either moving at snail speed and fiddle farting around or running like chickens with their heads cut off and getting nothing done. Every time you speak to them or answer a question, they look at you like they're an idiot. They will never have your prescriptions filled even if you give them a day in advance and a pick up time. You'll have to sit and wait for "twenty" minutes to fill one prescription. AND THEN an hour later when they fill it, they will have no insurance information for you on file that you've already given to them 6 times. Finally they will whittle your prescription bottle out of a piece of wheat (I assume that they're having to do something along those lines that takes them so long).. And then you'll finally be on your way! :) read more

Worst Walgreens location I have ever used. In the past I have paid for my prescriptions in advance through the app, and when I went through the drive thru, they said I still had to come inside to pick up. They refused to scan the barcode on my phone. Today I called to ask why my prescriptions, that were called in by my Dr 5 days ago, were still not ready. I sat on hold for 1 hour and 33 minutes before I finally gave up and called another Walgreens and had them transferred. They had my prescriptions ready by 3:00 that day, plus the new location is open until 8 pm, whereas this location closes at 6 pm. read more
