My neighborhood Walgreens is really great. I get proper notifications and or a call from the pharmacists regarding my prescriptions in a timely fashion. I know things get extremely busy for this store due to the heavy populous of residents, but they move efficiently and are always precise filling requests from my primary physician and//or doctor's clincs. I've never had to question this. The staff is always friendly and professional, and I think some people don't understand the thousands of requests, drive-thru customers and calls they receive which is a bit insensitive, so I'd like to just sing their praises for the excellent job I witness them doing for our area. You gentlemen and ladies are sincerely incredible! I'd like for corporate Walgreens to know and hear this from a customer who's been patronizing them for over 15 years now. It's so easy to be negative, but much more grateful when we are not focused just on ourselves as residents. * What might be most helpful, for Walgreens corporate management to consider building another much-needed store-facility on Basswood close to the CVS that's also in the area to increase customer support. The absolute WORST pharmacy I have ever been to. However for some reason it's the only place that has been taking my insurance and 24 hour. Not that it helps because not once has it been a smooth transaction. There is an issue every single time. I came in with paperwork saying everything is approved and they still have issues. Just wanted to update my review no give a shout-out to the ladies working the front cashier today at 1pm! My coupon didn't come off and since there was a line forming, the cashier asked me to go to the back of the line and she would return my items and re-ring them up. I complied, even though I was trying to get my groceries home. Another lady came up front to help, I assume she's from photo department? Idk but she seemed very experienced and was able to void my transaction, then ring me up and got my coupons to work! I wish I knew her name, but if I see her again I'll leave a tip for y'all to wish her a happy day. She isn't overly friendly or chatty, but she's smart and didn't have an attitude. These days, if you are able to get through an issue with no attitudes, it's a win, right?! Thank you again! This is the only game around after hours in the area, and they definitely run with it. It's always a complete s$&tshow when you come here to pick up your prescription. Decided to give it one more shot the other night. I though, "hmmm, maybe I'll get lucky". You see, EVERY SINGLE TIME I come here, there's a f$$ing problem...usually it's: "Sorry sir, system can't seem to find your insurance, I'll try this...ope...sorry sir, can you call your insurance blah blah..." This doesn't happen ANYWHERE ELSE. This last trip, the pharmacist tells me : "I'm sorry, insurance won't cover amoxicillin right now, supplies are short and it's system wide, that'll be $40 please...it's on back order for 3 weeks". I had no choice but to get it. Next day, I ask other pharmacies: "ummm, there's no shortage...and even if there was, insurance would still cover it.." Either the pharmacist straight up lied, or had no clue what he was doing. Probably both, because everyone else in line was having problems too. Everyone in line ahead of me had to finagle about with the pharmacist over some issue or "situation". People in the drive through struggles to jump through various hoop just to do a task that should be simple: hand over their money and get their gd medicine......never again for me. I tried to get an update on Status of Current Prescriptions last month and was told it was ready in their Walgreens APP and upon the Tech that worked there that my script was ready - I drive almost 45 minutes because I live in the country. When I get there they tell me my script is not ready and I cannot pickup until the next day. Totally unacceptable. Today I try to get an update on my newest script for this month. I waited over an hour on the phone just to talk to someone. Once I did get someone all they could tell me was that they are reviewing the script and put me back into the same hold pattern as I was before - it always says that there are more than 3 people ahead of me and get stuck for another hour. This time when I waited, whoever is taking the calls hung up.. This happened twice today. I understand stress and being busy, but if you take care of business the first time - you wont get call backs and stressed Clients. This is the only 24 Hour pharmacy close to me, and this is why I go there. If there was a no star option for the pharmacy I would give that, but still giving the lowest as possible. Please hire the staff that you need and let people have a good feeling about using this Pharmacy. Not sure how anyone would give the pharmacy over a 1 star and if they are its just to manipulate the numbers Whats even more interesting is that my brother left a review last week and it is not there ???? I don't usually post negative reviews unless I feel like it's really necessary but I feel like the customers should know about this pharmacy. Please avoid using this one if you can. I've had multiple bad experiences with them. First about 9 months ago I had a prescription that was to be filled, I got a text/notification that it was ready. I use a wheelchair so sometimes I need to set up a ride for someone to take me to the pharmacy to get my medicine, I was able to get a ride the day after I got the notification about it being ready, I arrived at around 1130 in the morning and the pharmacist told me they had given the last of that particular medicine to another customer(I don't know if he misspoke or if that's what really happened but that doesn't seem like it would be a normal practice for the pharmacy to "fill" a script then give it to another customer) I was then told they didn't know when they would get more. From then on out I've been using cvs but unfortunately yesterday my dr sent my new scripts to this Walgreens again by accident, I figured I would just deal with it and go and pick them up. I got there around 11pm(the 24 hour service is one of the only positives of Walgreens) and the drive through window was closed for whatever reason. I had left my wheelchair at home thinking I wouldn't need it and could just go to the drive through. So I decided to drive home, get my wheelchair and come back. I had also tried calling to see if there was any way they could help me without me having to drive home but supposedly there were "more than 3 callers waiting on the line" and after about 15-20 mins of waiting on hold I decided to just go get my chair and come back. When I finally got back around 1145-12am, I went inside and there was not a single person in line or waiting, I understand that the pharmacist are doing more than just the cashier part but it seriously seems like there are some issues there and there definitely should not be that long of a wait at that time with no customers in sight. I would definitely recommend trying to find another pharmacy to fill your prescriptions if you want things to go smooth. As a side note, I have no problems at all with the "store" part of the Walgreens and in fact all the employees working out front are extremely nice and helpful, I just cannot recommend the pharmacy itself, definitely worth it to go to cvs instead. Horrible couldn't Evan get my medicine from 4 of July then lien because they messed up prescription

So much hatred in one place! I'm compelled to give credit where it's due and review this Walgreen with four stars (despite its average one star at the time of this writing) for service and having just what I needed at a good price. I was in a hurry on my way to log in for a meeting when the need to pick up a saline packet arose. I only had five minutes to make the stop, and when I entered the store was greeted by three different employees. I must've looked lost because the manager asked me politely if there was something he could help me find. I was working from a picture of the item-to-pick-up that had been texted to me and showed it to him. He walked me to the appropriate aisle, making friendly conversation, and explained the differences between the options available. When I arrived at the front to check out and found myself waiting behind a woman with a shopping cart full of items, the manager opened a separate register to move me out quickly. I didn't have experience with the pharmacy, which has garnered quite a few negative reviews here, and would never have sensed any negative vibes without having seen them on Yelp. This store is very convenient for me. So hopefully my experiences will continue to be positive. read more

I'll readily admit that I avoided this Walgreens location for about a year due to the fact that an employee asked me out on a date as I was picking out a Valentine's Day card for my husband. That was a little strange. However, I found myself in need of a few last minute things on Christmas Day this year and this Walgreens is still the closest to where I live, so I held my nose (so to speak) and gave it another try. I was pleasantly surprised to find the store well stocked with all sorts of last minute Christmas goodies, as well as full shelves everywhere else. The place was PACKED as one would expect, but three registers were open in the front and the line was moving just fine. (Side note: I had no idea there was a third register at the front. Mind blown! I guess it's covered with merch 99% of the year.) I came back today to pick up Valentine's Day cards early... But no weird employee pickup line deja vu to be found in the Hallmark isle, just cards this year ;) Rating 3 stars due to my previous experience, and because the seasonal isle was sparsely stocked with about two dozen Valentine's Day stuffed animals and not much else. It is just after Christmas though, so I guess they have some time to peddle holiday clearance items anyway. I will say I no longer get my prescriptions filled here as of a year ago (you guessed it!!) but I would have switched anyway since the lines for the pharmacy were always completely absurd, inside and outside. read more

Been at this pharmacy for a while, probably ever since I moved to Fort Worth when I was 5 years old. We have always had complaints but for me this is ridiculous. I'm 17 now and I have to get my mom's medication and my own. So we called to get our prescription around 9:15-9:30pm and said it would be ready at 10:10pm tonight. Cool, I can get some late dinner and get the medication. I got there at 11:26pm knowing it should have been ready for almost an hour and a half and I'm waiting...and waiting...and waiting. I press the call button in the 2nd lane (the person in the first lane just left and the drive thru forgot about me). So I circle around the building to get in the first lane, I press the call button, I finally get someone to get to the drive thru. "We'll be here in just a second" that second turned into 10-15 minutes. I press the call button again, another lady comes by and asks for my first and last name, the usual. She said my prescription wasn't ready. Um. What? I was trying to get a hold of her to tell her it was suppose to be ready at 10:10 but she left before I could say anything, that she will "be back in just a minute" yet again, that minute turned into 10 minutes. It's about 11:50 by now and I'm getting fed up. I press the call button again and the same lady comes back and says she'll be back and wanders off again. Another 10 minutes go by and I press the call button for the 5th time tonight and the first lady comes back and is very apologetic (at least she was apologetic) and asked me for my first and last name to get my mom's and I's medication. Finally I get my medication and I leave the pharmacy at 12:10. Pretty ridiculous, that was the longest I have waited to get medication ever. 40+ minutes is not okay for a drive thru. read more

I needed to use the bathroom so bad and I didn't want to ask because I never do public bathrooms but today I asked an employee if I could use the bathroom the 1st employee said no because the bathroom is broken, and so I asked the cashier next if I could use the bathroom and she said no because the bathroom is broken and I asked her how long will it be till they fix it She said maybe a month so then I asked her where do you guys go to the bathroom and she says we have to walk across the street to Kentucky Fried Chicken to use the bathroom. I just can't see the pharmacist walking across the street to go use the bathroom or are they lying to their customers so they wont use the bathroom. I spend a lot of money there for my prescriptions, I am a loyal customer for about 25 years now. Came here late to pick up some dental floss since I didn't want to fight crowds. Got in fairly quickly and found what I wanted quickly. But the problem is that the service is slow here. Maybe it was because it was late at night but they only had one register open. And there were 5 people in line when I got in and the cashier wasn't moving very fast. Eventually the opened another line and told some customers cosmetics was open for check out so I just went over there and was the first person so I got out a little quicker. But the service is slower here and I haven't even had to fill a prescription here yet so I don't know but for now the service is slow and the employees don't move very fast, but you can find what you want at a standard walgreens read more

I had to switch my prescriptions back to Kroger across the street. Every time I would visit this location, the drive-thru pharmacy would take 30 minutes, at the very least. The last straw for me was when the drive-thru attendant was rude (usually the employees are very friendly even though they're extremely overworked), didn't give me all of my prescriptions, and wouldn't respond when I pressed the button to speak with him, as he had already jumped on to the customer in the next lane. After waiting for ten minutes to ask him the status of the other prescription, with no response from him, I said "Forget it!" and drove across the street to Kroger, had them xfer my prescription over, and I had my prescription within 30 minutes. read more

I am never the person to leave a bad review, but this pharmacy always takes forever, yet they all run around like they are crazy busy. They always make promises on times that they cannot meet and never smile at any of their customers. I use them only when I have to because they are 24 hours, but the experience is horrible every time. I wish I could get my son's prescription back and take it elsewhere. Whether it be them not updating an increased dose on my prescription, IGNORING allergies, or taking two days to fill a prescription that I was told would take an hour! Between my hour and twenty minute wait, I noticed customers get skipped over and treated like idiots (myself included) they conducted business like it was some kind of cute game. BEWARE of the large stapled closed bag, if you have multiple prescriptions. These people WILL rip you off. They will give you all your prescriptions in a large bag with multiple prescription receipts stapled to the bag, AS IF, all the prescriptions are contained within. Once you get home and open the bag and find 4 of the 5 are actually in the bag. TOO BAD, you picked it up, you paid for it and nothing they can (WILL) do. "Oh we have cameras and we'll be glad to go back and check the cameras" then "well our cameras show you picked the bag at 8:10 p.m. on Thursday. DUHHH, I think it's pretty obvious I picked up the bag, really sad your cameras don't show your high school drop-outs filling the bag!!! read more

I just had a hysterectomy and was running out of my pain pills I call them and left a message since they never never answer their phone it's ridiculous even for emergency no one picks up, anyways I call my dr to see if he can ok my pills before he will close, he call them and left it on the answering machine againg since no one answer, so I send my husband to pick them up 4 hours later to give them plenty if time, the guy working told him there was nothing ready for me I ask my husband to let me talk to him and the guy simply said I don't want to talk to her, I just wanted to explain to him that my dr had call it in and that he needed to ck his voicemail wich he refuse treating us like stupids, I'm here laying down on a bed rest on pain and can't even go myself cause I'm in pain and this people have such a terrible customer service Standar, they sould be like hospital oriented and if they are not capable of doing that then they are on the wrong bussiness, he finally ck his voice mail and said oh we just got your wife's prescription really???
