Wonderful people, but terrible new ownership of the company. No different than using a Mail Order it now takes three days for a prescription to be filled. Not good if you are ordered an antibiotic or any ASAP drug by your physician. read more

This place isn't the absolute worst. This happened on 02/28 during the afternoon. Shift lead lady has an attitude. I think her name is Madison or Madelyn. I had a question about price matching and she was very unprofessional about it and walked away to help another customer as my concern was not addressed. I told her the other Walgreens store said I'm able to price match it in store from the Walgreens website and they proceeded. Definitely a really bad aura from her and was rude from the get go like she didn't like her job. Maybe because I look like a young Asian boy. Ageism....? I wish I had read all the poor reviews on this pharmacy before I scheduled my covid booster shot. I laughed when I read the appointment time is a suggestion. My shot was over an hour late. And somehow apologizing that they are busy is somehow an excuse. Don't give appointments if you can't handle the people. And many people on the Rx area without masks. So we all sit here together waiting. read more

I went into this Walgreens where I was rudely greeted by a girl named Vanessa Segura. She didn't smile. I tried to chat with her she wouldn't chat or even acknowledge that I was speaking. She told me the price of my goods. I gave her cash. She didn't look up not once. Finally I said, you have a nice night to Vanessa. At which point she looked at me with a scowl, didn't say a word as I walked away. I wouldn't recommend this Walgreens. It's a shame because they used to be really nice here. read more

I have never been to a Walgreens that closed before their posted hours. Closing 6 minutes early isn't ok. Posted hours are posted for a reason. Doors locked and employees looking at me with wonder in their eyes. Yes, I'm here. Yes I would like to be let in. Perhaps I needed something important and it would have taken me no longer than 3 minutes to grab it and get out. I'm done ever going here again. This is the absolute worst pharmacy in town! Call for refills a day before and scheduled ready time anytime after 11am... Get to the window and they tell you it's gonna be another 30 minutes when my arrival time was 11:50!I will be transferring pharmacies as this isn't the first time. Either very poor management or the slowest pharmacy staff in town. But when you arrive at the window like 2 minutes before their lunch break they tell you sorry we're already closed... read more

Takes forever to get someone on the phone. If there is a problem with the insurance they want you to handle it instead of calling the number on the back of the card for you. I typically wait in the phone for about 15 minutes before I hang up and notoriously I am waiting l one caller then forgotten about and placed on the back of the list. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. While this has never been the best pharmacy and wait times are always long and the service extremely subpar, today takes the cake. After going by to pick up a prescription I was told that my insurance wouldn't go through due to a computer error and asked to get out of line so they could assist other customers and then figured out what was wrong with my prescription. So after waiting for them to assist 3 more people and then more time for them to figure out the issue, I was summoned back and told that they couldn't figure it out and that I should call my insurance because my information was incorrect on my card and come back later. So I called my insurance which instructed me to have the pharmacy call the pharmacy help line. So back to the pharmacy I go where I was met with annoyed looks upon my return. When I explained what needed to be done I was told that it would take them awhile and that they would just call me back in 20-30 min when they got it figured out. Well over an hour later, I finally get a call that they resolved the issue (they weren't entering in their own information correctly in the computer as the pharmacy filling the prescription) and could come pick up my medication. All in total 4 visits to the pharmacy and 3 hours. I will be transferring pharmacies to somewhere else with better customer service. Why they didn't call the pharmacy help line on the back of my insurance card in the first place instead of trying to say the issue was mine is beyond me. read more

The pharmacy at this store is a nightmare. My most recent experience here involved them refusing to run a script the way it was written AND the way the insurance company TOLD them to run it. My son was given a script for 4 Epipens (not uncommon, as many children keep 2 at home and 2 at school). Walgreens refused to give me all 4 pens, at first blaming the insurance company. After I spoke with the insurance company, who told me how to PROPERLY run the script so that it would go through, Walgreens refused to run it the way the insurance company suggested. I transferred the script to HEB and it went through the insurance with NO PROBLEM. Unfortunately, this incident is the last in a LONG LINE of annoyances I've faced with this Walgreens. Their customer service is horrendous- they have actually COVERED UP the "call button" in their drive through lane with a sign stating that they will be with the customer when they can, eliminating the possibility of contacting them from the drive through, wait times to talk with someone in the pharmacy department are long, and they are often out of common medications that my family is prescribed, forcing us to travel to another Walgreens to get the medicine anyways. We have officially "broken up" with this Walgreens. Despite the fact that they are 2 minutes from my home, we will be using another pharmacy from now on. I would warn anyone against having scripts filled here. read more
