This Walgreems is the worst. There is always some kind of delay. I hate the automated phone system. Three times I got a text that my prescription would be ready after 10a.m. when I get there the script isn't ready even though it is 4p.m. they could text to say there is a delay. But they make sure they don't miss meal breaks. I've worked many times and missed a meal to serve the customer. read more

I like to use the pictures on my IPhone to make personalized cards or gifts. Walgreens is the only business I know which accommodates. I agree with the other reviews about the lack of customer service at the pharmacy here. There is a notable attitude of "your family's sickness is not my problem". My wife recently tried to fill a prescription that was unavailable and instead of the staff saying "let me see if I can find another Walgreens that has that in stock" they only came back with "no we don't have that, go look somewhere else". No offer to help, no accountability, no customer service, "not my problem". Any parent who has had a sick child knows how incredibly devastating that situation can be, and the staff here continue to demonstrate a complete lack of compassion and professionalism time and time again. read more

Most of the community continues to talk about how the customer service has continued to go down, especially at the pharmacy. I didn't see it. However, in the last six months I have noticed, not only at the pharmacy. However, tonight is the last time I will go to this pharmacy. I would rather be "inconvenienced" by going to the one on RT. 30 and LaGrange. It's difficult to get in and out, but at this point I don't care. On 12/4/20 and tonight, I was picking up a prescription. I, unfortunately, was waited on by the same pharmacy tech. She has glasses and brown hair with highlights, in braids. I pull up to the window and state, "I am hear to pick up a prescription". She says "and". What type of response is that. I, of course, state what information do you need? She says, very sternly, your name. I give her my name. She says, "first name." I give it to her. She says, Ma'am, I can't hear you. Mind you the car next to me did not speak any louder than myself but she heard him. This is exactly how it played out the lat time I was there with this exact same tech. Anytime, I had visited either Walgreens, I pay with a card and they place my card in an envelope, with my script. Not this time. She must have placed it on the drawer and I did not see it. Mind you, my fault. However, they have never done it before. Meanwhile, I am on my way home and she had called our home to let me know I forgot my card. I told my husband it this tech was just so rude. He said he could even tell by het tone. Sorry Walgreens in Frankfort on Harlem and Rt. 30. Poor customer service. But your employees in the pharmacy are not pleasant. read more

8/9/18 We have our medication on auto fill. According to the pharmacist it was taken off auto fill because they changed providers. How is this the customers issue. We just want our life saving medications, not corporate bullshit. 7/20/18 My wife went in to get her insulin on Sunday. The Pharmacist and Tech said they didn't have a refill. This is a medication on auto renewal, and should get a new order when the last one was given. Gets even better, when my wife got home from her business trip (without insulin) and goes in and makes them review their records, they forgot to give her 9 boxes (45 days supply). So they refused to give her the medication, the doctor ordered, and was paid for. Way to keep good records and be concerned about your customer's health. IF you insurance does not make you to go to Walgreen, avoid them, as my wife found out Walgreen's can negatively impact your health read more

no stars if I could. The older blonde woman who works the register is such an angry person. You ask a simple question & she is so bothered by it. I forgot my glasses and asked her to help me on my app for a coupon. She said that she cannot touch my phone. Really? The Pharmacy did! She said it's against the rules. Well, I wrote and asked the corporate office and they said that her answer was incorrect. As I guessed as well. I told her that every time I come in she is miserable to someone. I cannot imagine the complaints she receives. When I talked with the manager he said we all have bad days. I agreed. However, it's been every time I'm in that store with her. And then, she gets the people in line going like a bully to the person she's waiting on stating you are delaying my other customers from checking out while I tried to look through my app without my glasses. I get it. I didn't notice that a line formed however she could have helped before that line formed. Miserable woman. Never smiles unless she's cutting you up when you are leaving which I heard. Pharmacist was very rude. I got a notification an hour before my prescription was ready to call them, when I did they just told me it was on backorder and hung up. When i called back to ask if any other locations have it she just told me to call around and look myself but no pharmacy has it and hung up once again. Then i called back a 3rd time to ask if they had any other brand or a generic i can have and she just said no and once again just hung up right away. Ended up transferring all my services to walmart and got the right one 5 hours later. Will not be coming back. read more

My boyfriend and my daughter stopped at the Walgreens in Frankfort on Lincoln highway and Harlem 15 mins ago. He got to the register and this white lady name Janet looked at my daughter who was up on his shoulders and said "What a cute little monkey you have up there" Racism is REAL!!She really tried to act like it was ok to call a black child a monkey. Horrible experience. My young child was looking at halloween costumes and a rude old sales associate yelled at her to pick up her coutume but she was still looking around! On Mon. 4/13/20, my script was sent electronically to Walgreens 7209 W. Lincoln Hwy for Zithromax, marked dispense as written. I called half hour later & spoke to Chris in pharmacy, via the phone, asking him if my script is ready, he said no, don't have it in stock, had to order Zithromax, (brand). I said ok, how long before you get it in? He said 1-2 days. On Wed., 4/15/20, I called the store & spoke to Chris again, asked him if I can pick up my script, he said no, the liquid form of Zithromax was ordered. I said liquid form, "Why would you order liquid form when it specifically says Zithromax, 250 mg tablet & then it says how it's taken. He said it was ordered in error. He said he will order it now, to be sent for Thursday, 4/16/20, pick up. I said ok & asked for a manager. He said the manager won't be in till 3:00 pm. I did not call back, because I was frustrated & disappointed in Chris at this time. Thursday, 4/16/20, I went to pick up script, & finally it was ready for pick up, along with my other one. I took them and left. I had no words for none of them at this time. I am deeply saddened, to say the least, that it took Walgreens, 4 days to have my Zithromax, ready for me. I needed my antibiotic on Mon., 4/13/20, not 4/16/20! Chris, would you have your mother, or another loved one, wait 4 days for an antibiotic? This is unacceptable and you need to be reprimanded for your error. I order Zithromax (brand) all the time, & you and everyone there, knows it. We go through this every time I am prescribed this drug. I hope this never happens again. Please be more conscious of your ordering, since it specifically says, Zithromax, 250 mg tablet.
