A little orderly lady was asking for help, and He (Phil) was talking to her so loudly. The customer was ready to make a purchase and he GRABBED the item from her hand. I usually average about one item per order that's out of stock, which can alter the total pricing if items are priced as a pair (bogo). This is actually the first review I've ever submitted because I am so frustrated with a pharmacy. I was on hold for 40 minutes with one color ahead of me yesterday and got disconnected because of their lunch break. Their automated system told me I can hold until after lunch and I would be the first one to get picked up. Do you really think that would happen? no. I drove in there and there was a long line drive-through and in the pharmacy. I waited to ask for a prescription to be transferred to CVS and he said that he would get around to you in a couple hours. Writing this review the next day. Did the pharmacy transfer the prescription, no. Then I called back this morning to wait 20 minutes and be hung up on instantly without even having the phone answered. The worst pharmacy. read more

The employees here are always friendly and helpful. I like their photo center - you can order online and they always offer discount codes. But the prices! I get a little markup, but they are really overcharging here. Tonight I went in for one item. I checked ahead of time on the app to make sure they had it in stock and the app said it was $15.99. The shelf tag price was $18.99. Okay, fine--it's something I needed right away, I'll pay extra. But Amazon has this exact brand/product for $9. If money is no object or you have an emergency, it's a fine place to shop. read more

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! 0 stars. My family of 5 has been customers here for 2 plus years and we have always excused bad customer service, long waits, unanswered calls, and overworked rude techs in the past. This particular visit, was absolutely inexcusable and we will never go back to be treated this way again. Courtney, the first tech was nice enough but Phil, the pharmacist, and Jalyn (spelling) are absolutely vile people. They need retrained or fired. Today, I went to pick up my son's eyedrops. You can't call ahead here because nobody answers and it's a 30 minute wait just on the phone. First my insurance didn't cover the drops and company policy says insurance will not allow me to pay out of pocket which is absurd but not the reason for my review. Pharmacist refused to help figure out which drops would be covered. I was told to pull around to the back of the line 6 different times for EYEDROPS. Even went to Starbucks and down to the park and back after my Dr confirmed they had sent a new prescription. I went back after a while and was told they just got it (not true) and it would be another 20-30 mins. I complied with their request each time moving away from the window even though nobody was in line. I was not yelling, being mean, or nasty. Upon the 4th time coming up to the window, I tried to appeal to the tech and tell her we had been waiting a long time already and I had a screaming newborn at home waiting to be nursed hoping they would take pity on me and at least relay my message to the pharmacist. Maybe I was hoping for a glimmer of customer service or higher level thinking skills but I was stonewalled. I merely requested if they could just grab them since they require no counting or mixing. Nope. They decided to escalate a non-situation taking offense to my apparent entitlement I suppose. I just asked if someone could check with the pharmacist for me. Well original tech, Courtney, asked a new angry tech (Jalyn). She immediately asked if I am refusing to move and hung up on me when I was just trying to explain my predicament calmly as I had children in the car. Not once did I say "I'm not moving from your window". Jalyn stormed off and within seconds, here comes Phil, the previously unavailable pharmacist. He said he was calling the police if I don't move out of line without even allowing me to say anything. Didn't even talk to me, just at me. Not one "sorry for the long wait" or anything normal from anyone. Just an unprovoked threat. Of course, I moved to the back of the line for a 6th time. I have never caused a scene in my life or been threatened without cause. I suppose they could say I was trespassing. Never had police called on me before and not about to have it happen over eyedrops with children in the car. No idea how it even jumped to that level of response. Maybe they had other people refusing to move due to their horrible customer service and this is just their normal, unhinged response to a tired mom calmly saying the wait has been over an hour and I have a newborn baby at home waiting on me. I pulled back around shocked by their escalation and by some act of god, 1 car, and 3 minutes after they threatened me, they were able to miraculously pull eyedrops off the shelf. Original tech at least wished me a good day to part ways. She did not confirm name or date of birth. You are just a number and they have no reason to be nice or appeal to you. None at all. Holding my breath on corporate doing anything for me when I call to complain but they need a massive overhaul and better training for all their staff. Until then, I hope they learn or at least are embarrassed from all these horrible reviews they are getting. I hope nobody else has the same experience. read more

I submitted a prescription request on Sunday and was told it would be available Monday by 11am. Perfect. Except it wasn't. I received a notification it was delayed and to call the pharmacy. I waited 90 minutes on the phone on Tuesday after calling Monday and not getting someone to answer, then decided to go in person. They had it in stock and asked if I wanted to wait 30 minutes. After saying yes because I waited on the phone for 90 minutes I received a nonchalant response that they don't have anyone to answer the phones. This is unacceptable. Don't tell me to call and not have someone answering phones. read more

This location is always clean, usually not crowded, and service is pretty fast. I only go here once a month or two but it's always easy finding parking close to the entrance. When I pick up photos employees are quick to come over to help. The pharmacy is probably the busiest area in the store but even with a line techs are quick so I've never waited more than 10 minutes. Surprisingly Walgreens has some great deals sometimes, especially for photos, you just have to keep an eye out. I've gotten several prints for free or deeply discounted by using promo codes. read more

Walgreens has lost its way and customers along with it. Service was inconsistent and the wait times incredibly long. The most concerning thing, however, is that their pricing is so extremely high that my health insurance will not cover Walgreens prescriptions because of pricing. When profit comes before the customer, your business is lost. If you take care of your customers, they will be loyal and generate all the revenue and profit you need. read more

I I understand during Covid pharmacies are severely understaffed, however an experience yesterday (Saturday Nov.20) was really truly terrible. My daughter and I took her 5 year old for a Covid test required in order to go back to school after missing one day with a fever. Her appointment was at 10:45 at the drive thru. We were there a half hour early and waited 6th in line at drive through, reached the window 1 hour and 5 minutes later, only to be told they were closing early due to staffing, and results wouldn't be picked up by UPS until Monday with results hopefully by Thursday. We asked why we weren't notified so we could hopefully find another test location so she could attend school this week. They didn't even answer. Just asked if test still wanted and told to "Have a nice day". read more

I couldn't get any help from customer service on how to log on to your photo area to get pictures at the Olio rd area in FIshers. Not happy at all.. They have always been good to me and promised to give me pictures for 9 cents all the time since I do so many. So this is our local Walgreens, i go here with my mom 2-3 times a week. Sometimes the service is okay, but then again, there's alway that one worker who believes they are above everyone else. And that worker is an old lady by the name of Anita (I think that's how you spell her name idk). Every time my mother and I have walked into this Walgreens, she always puts up a nasty face, and has an attitude towards my mother. My mother can't really speak English probably, but she doesn't let anyone treat her like that. But this lady is rude, arrogant, and disrespectful. She has even gone to the lengths of THROWING the money at my moms face when she decides not to buy a product anymore. Just today we were buying a product, and I asked her for help. She didn't even look at me or at the product, she just continued walking and with a attitude said "I don't know.". And I know I shouldn't speak back to elders but if you really think about it, as a 17 year old with an attitude as well, I spoke back with a sarcastic tone and said " Okay Thank you." I highly doubt that Walgreens wants a person like this working at their stores, giving off a bad face for Walgreens. The only good thing about this store is the one worker who gave me her name, she knows who she is, she was so respectful and nice. She deserves a raise. Had appointments for get get my kids vaccinated for Covid waited 15 minutes to be checked in was ignored numerous times by the pharmacy tech and pharmacist not even acknowledged my existence appoint was at 12 15 and now it is 1 and I am finally filling out paper work. This review is of the pharmacy in Walgreens. I waited 45 minutes in line to speak with a representative. There were only three people in line ahead of me and two windows. They were so inefficient and disorganized. About five minutes into waiting, I went to one of the windows to make sure I was waiting in the correct line. The employee, who seemed to not know what she was doing, assured me to wait in that line. When I got to the front after 45 minutes, the other employee told me I needed to go to the other window where I had already talked to the woman 40 minutes earlier. Someone was now standing at that window in line ahead of me and so I just left. The entire 45 minutes I was there, not one patient sitting in the lobby waiting for a flu shot or Covid vaccine actually got to go in and receive one. The waiting room was just filling up with people who are frustrated. If you don't have hours to waste, go somewhere else for your pharmacy needs. read more

So, this happened 2 months ago, at the beginning of the Coronavirus. Everyone's was panicking and hoarding everything they could put their hands on including hand sanitizer. I knew that I needed hand sanitizer because of my job. I've always been conscientious regarding germs and hand washing, so when I was running short, I begin my search for any kind of hand sanitizer, the most effective that I could find. So one day I decided to wait 30 minutes before Walgreens open to be the first one in line to get hand sanitizer, but to my surprise there wasn't any. So I asked the dear lady named Betty when there would be more coming in, and she replied the next day, but I knew that I couldn't wait because of my job. And this dear lady saw the desperation in my eyes, I assume, and she literally gave me her personal 28 OZ bottle of hand sanitizer from home, I instantly said, I couldn't take that, and no thank you, but she insisted. I was out done with such a beautiful act from this generous stranger. I felt so blessed to know that they're are still caring people in the world. And if you're ever in Fishers and visit the Walmart on 116th St and Olio road, take time to say thank you to Miss Betty, for her wonderful act. read more

Truly phenomenal in every area. First Jennifer, Dereck, Ryan, Gene, Steve, and Mary Beth are the most genuine pharmacy employees I have encountered. Each treat me like a princess every single time and always willing to help ard don't rush. I observe these acts with all people who come in. They care about you and your health as if you were related to each. Gina, Alex, Paula, and Ben that are specialists in the non pharmacy part are phenomenal as well. They are so sweet and always going above and beyond for Everyone. In any financial investment I would rather pay a little more and be treated with the upmost of care than be treated negatively and pay less. There are no jerks working here. read more
