Just moved and switched pharmacies. This has been the worst pharmacy of my life. Wait times are insane. I requested a refill on my prescription (Levothyroxine) a very common prescription 2 weeks ago. I switched to Walgreens after Rite-Aid closed. I called in for 3 prescriptions. One needed to have a Dr.'s confirmation which they said they would get. When I picked up the prescriptions there were only 2 and nothing was said about the 3rd one. So I contacted my Dr. on My Chart for a refill. That was sent in on 1/19. I've called several times to check on the prescription and the recording says it is in process and they would contact me. Today I called in and spoke to a person who said it would be filled after 2:00. I went after 2:00 today to be told that they were out and check back after 2:00 tomorrow. That would be 1/27. Seems like an unusually long time to get a prescription and it seems that others have the same problem. I also got my Covid and Flu shots at this pharmacy and that was a positive experience. read more

I arrived 10 minutes early for a vaccination appointment, checked in with their QR code and the app acknowledged I was there. One person in line, no one in drive-through, 1 person at counter, and the pharmacist. As I waited more and more people came in and got in line, phone ringing, and now cars are in the drive-through. After 40 minutes a woman in line asks for a vaccination She hasn't registered so she is told to register and it will only be a couple of minutes. I stand up and the lady behind the counter FINALLY looks at me and puts her hand up and says, yes she knows I have been waiting. She tells me they are busy. I tell her I can see that however I have an appointment and she has continued to help everyone else. She said she can't let the people in the drive-through just sit there and has to take care of the people in line. I told her I understand that but she has no problem letting me sit there? I told her you should take care of people in the order they arrived, and in particular the ones in person, and put the phone on hold. She hadn't even told the pharmacist I was waiting. A gentleman had come in to pick up a prescription that had been called several days before. It wasn't ready so he waited. He told me they are shorthanded and not to blame them. However, after he waited and waited for his prescription he opened his phone and put the Jeopardy song that is played when the contestants are answering the last question for everyone to hear. He had also decided it was ridiculous. Finally the pharmacist came out and called my name at least an hour after my appointment. She was very nice, apologized and said sorry for the wait. We are shorthanded. I said I can understand that but I should have been the next person taken care of when I first arrived because there was only 1 person ahead of me. I also suggested they could have stepped out, acknowledged the long wait (because it was packed with unhappy people) apologized and said we are working to take care of everyone. What happened to customer service? Maybe they should go the old fashioned way of taking g a ticket when you arrive and then calling numbers in order. This pharmacy is so bad It takes days if not a week to get a prescription filled. I've gone to the dr, he prescribed asthma meds, and I called everyday and they kept telling me it wasn't ready. Um. I. Can't. Breathe! You also wait forever in the drive thru line. I was the only person there and still waited 45 mins. My baby was in the car and it was not a good time. I saw my dr again today and told him to please move my prescriptions and he sounded horrified at the wait at this pharmacy. What about antibiotics that people need to start asap? What about life saving meds? Does this place cause frequent er trips because people don't have their medications? I hardly ever write 1 star reviews anymore but my dr made a good point. They never have anything in stock and you wait days and never hear anything. Calling is pointless, they hang-up on you. The drive thru is often closed. My foreign-born DIL had been ill for a week and sought help at an urgent care clinic. They weren't able to prescribe anything immediately, but her test results arrived Sunday afternoon, and she got a prescription. My son, who is deployed on an aircraft carrier called several pharmacies for her while I was out. He was told by this Walgreens that they had the meds. I arrived with the prescription in hand 15 minutes later, only to find they never checked and didn't have it. It was 4 pm on Sunday, so I was frantic. The pharmacist at the CVS in Federal Way saved us by actually checking and sending me to a location that has what was needed. Why didn't Walgreens do this? I'm still so mad. read more

Pharmacy is terrible. Took them 3 days to fill a simple cough medication. Everyday I went in they said they were still working on it. This is the 3rd time this has happened now. Absolutely the worst experience with this pharmacy every single time. 1. They refused to fill a RX from a pharmacy in Graham telling me I had to call Graham to have them send the RX. Graham pharmacy said they can pull it from the system. Long minutes on the phone going back and forth for them to go to lunch without my RX being completed. 2. Spent 1:15 on hold for them to not answer. System said there were 3 customers ahead of me. I hung up. 3. Showed up in person and waited in line for 1 hr. There were 2 cars ahead of me... 4. Received RX from a young guy and he awkwardly looked at us without a word after we confirmed our address. If I could give it zero stars I would. The pharmacy always takes years to refill prescriptions and when it is filled, it takes another couple years to wait in line for it. There's never more than one person and the wait it ridiculous. Unfortunately my insurance only lets me get my prescription from Walgreens and this one is right around the corner of my house. This Walgreens Pharmacy has always had the WORST service. I live right down the road, so it's very convenient and I stopped going and asked my doctor switch to CVS instead. If you ever are trying to reach the Pharmacy or pick up prescriptions. The drive thru lines are insanely long and can last, one time 1/2 hour. And any time I call them, I'm put on this forever never ending loup of on hold and nobody ever picks up. Prescriptions for some people can be life or death and very crucial. This is not acceptable. Worst Walgreens experienced. Store inventory is low, prices are high, the clerks are very slow and incompetent. I was waiting to check out behind One customer who they couldn't figure out how to redeem her rewards for about 15 minutes, then it was my turn to pay for my items which I had a coupon for and they could not figure out how to add the coupon to my purchase. DO NOT COME HERE. Went in to get HIV tested because the Walgreens website clearly states that they do HIV testing. I spoke to a guy with dreads that was very patient and calm but the other lady at the pharmacy interrupted even though I wasn't even talking to her. She kept saying "Walgreens doesn't do HIV testing and when i showed her the website on my phone she said "that's for Covid".. I'm sorry but how much of an idiot do you have to be to not be able to read the words HIV clearly written on the photo. I attached a photo showing what I showed her in this review. The lady was Arab and wearing a hijab. So unprofessional and rude for no reason. She had an attitude when speaking to me like she owned the place or something and kept completely dismissing me saying "no not Walgreens". I don't know why she was hired she's very sassy and clearly doesn't know how to interact with people. She was talking with an angry tone almost as if I offended her. Absolute horrible customer service. This last entire two years have been horrific. I've been having my prescription sent here for over 10 years and they never have it ready even when I get a call that it is. They are apparently now closed temporarily but didn't notify anyone at all. This reflect to Walgreens company as a whole. Extremely disappointing experience. The female pharmacist was rude, short, yelled at customers and colleagues, and accidentally had the store intercom on while berating a customer over the phone. Waited 40 minutes before she was unable to accurately enter my insurance information and told me to leave rather than trying again due to the long lines. Extremely unprofessional. Unfortunately folks these guys play phone games. Over the last three days I have been spending on the phone to get past two callers that took over an hour. The answering system tells you. I gave up after waiting 35 min on being next to be helped. The next two days I spent over 4 hours to see if my prescription is ready after and hour and a half a guy answers and says hello once then hangs up. The next day I'm preparing for a,two hours at the 2nd in line then I'm cut off. Kiss my bottom, children can beat you at anything you people do. I'd like to commend Brittany, the Store Manager, for her first class customer service. I had ordered custom holiday photo cards and they didn't meet my expectations. I called the store and Brittany offered to re-do the order without hesitation. I placed a new order...when inspecting the order at the store there was another issue. Brittany personally worked with me and she personally re-ran my order, all by herself. Her dedication to my order, satisfaction and customer service is to be commended. Well done Brittany. Thank you. I tried to call Walgreen's pharmacy to simply update my express pay. After 1 call and 15 min. hold I got disconnected. I called again, after 45 min. on hold I finally got through to someone. Very disappointed to find out they cannot update express pay over the phone. Really? I have been a customer for over 15 years! The worst Walgreens I have ever been in. The cashiers could not figure out how to ring up a guy and because of this, it was causing massive delays. When I asked the other cashier to open up another register, he said it's after 10pm and he could not but then he opened it when his supervisor instructed him to do so. But then he gave me attitude and I as acting like I was inconveniencing him. This has got to be the most pathetic and poorly run Walgreens I've ever been to. After coming to this Walgreens for almost a year, I'm moving on to another company due to the poor service, bad information and how painfully slow they have become. The last time I was here, it was to pick up two prescriptions that are on auto refill. I went inside with my friend who was buying some over-the-counter stuff. With just one person ahead of me in line, it took 20 minutes to finally be my turn. The tech told me only one of the medicines was ready. I asked her to look again, and after she did so, she informed me that it had only been 35 days since the last refill, which is monthly, and I had to wait 5 more days. Told her that didn't make any sense since I need the medicine refilled every month, not every 40 days. Told her to get it refilled now, while I waited. She replied that they couldn't do that and asked if I wanted them to have it ready in 2-3 days. I said no, get it refilled now. She wandered off and came back with just the one medicine. My friend came over to see what was taking so long. I asked for the pharmacist, and the tech told me it would be another 20-30 minutes. I left. I called my doctor's office, told them the situation and was promised they would call the pharmacist and get the medicine for me right away. It took Walgreens 2 days. read more

I freaked out and called, the pharmacist (or tech) was VERY helpful in helping me make sure I got the right medication. The staff is always very kind and ready to assist in all departments. This review is not completely specific to this store since there are some systemic issues involved, but this is my chosen pharmacy. I've been a Walgreen's pharmacy customer for years, but prescription services have gone completely down the tube. The auto-refill system doesn't send notices to the doctor when a new prescription is required, it refills medications that aren't on auto-refill, and, most important, when something goes wrong there is absolutely no communication with the patient. I waited 2 1/2 weeks for a prescription to get filled; good thing it wasn't for a life-threatening condition! Another one has had the "filling prescription" status for a week now, and another one says I need to call the pharmacy -- but after waiting for 15 minutes the phone system disconnected me. Opening days and hours are hit and miss, and it's too far out of my way to just pop over every day in case they might happen to be open. I've heard, from the pharmacy staff when I've actually been able to get hold of them, that this is happening at both my semi-convenient locations right now. From a customer standpoint, when medications are involved, this is 100% unacceptable. We understand when there are occasional problems, and we even understand being short-staffed, but this is a life-affecting industry. If it's just a matter of being backlogged, close the windows and work overtime like the rest of us do! read more

First time writing a Yelp review so this is major. If I can give a zero rating, I would. Horrible pharmacy on Hoyt Road! These people should never be in the health care business. For three weeks I tried getting my prescription filled. None of them would help me resolve the issue. They kept telling me to call the doctor's office, which I did numerous times. The doctor's office sent a new prescription to them, which they have a record of sending it, but the pharmacy still kept saying they never received it. Now, I just called back from talking to them yesterday and they are saying they have no record of the event, nor did they talk to the doctor's office! Lulu (SP) the pharmacist is very short and rude on the phone. They have a tendency to cut you off while you're talking, trying to hustle you off the phone. Then she got back on and asked what I wanted and just as I started talking she put me on hold. The store was clean, the staff were friendly and I think it's on par with what a Walgreens has grown to be. No matter where you are at, if you need something, start with Walgreens. They have a little bit of everything to help you make the most of your trip. This particular one, we stopped in looking for a specific type of snack food for a friend who requested it. They didn't have it, in fact, I thought there chip section was kind of small. I get shelf space is a premium in a store, but perhaps a bit more variety and more options that are more main stream? I've been going here for the past 9 years and have recently started transferring my prescriptions out of there because they are so slow. I have sat in their drive thru for up to 30 minutes and the line didnt move once. Try to call them on the phone, they ask you to hold then your call gets disconnected after awhile they keep answering then putting me back on hold up to 10 times before i hung up and drove to the store. With the call still on hold I ask the lady at the counter when they plan to answer my phone call and I show her the time on hold on my phone. This problem is still not fixed with them. I went today to drop off a prescription and it was the same old story. Waited in line 20 minutes then walked in the store and complained. Even though this is the closest pharmacy to my house, I will go somewhere else to get my scripts filled. If they are looking to close stores, I hope this one gets axed and maybe we can get a Rite Aid in its place. read more
