Hair Town is the place to go for anything hair! I've never seen another store like it for wigs,…read moreextension, hair products, etc. If you are looking for a blow dryer, curling irons, hair color, conditioners whatever........Hair Town has it. They even carry some clothing, jewelry, and house products. I feel the prices are competitive. The reason they get 3 stars is because you are under surveillance the whole time you're there. They try to hide it, but you know they are watching. They have very poor customer service as well, when you need help finding a product. They have a great (enormous) wig selection! But.....you are only allowed to try on 3 wigs, and you must buy a wig cap for $1. I can understand to a point because people do play and try on wigs for no reason and don't plan on buying anything. If you are a serious buyer and plan on buying a few, this is a problem. I do understand shoplifting is a real problem as well, but very offensive to a person like me. I have been to this Hair Town many times and know what to expect, I go in, get what I need, and I'm out! My advice would be to upgrade your customer service, and you would have a great store.

When confronted with their wrong doing they play dumb, these business owners know they won't be held accountable that's why their so comfortable disrespecting certain customers such as myself. The store is very clean and well-organized, and most of the staff are friendly and helpful when you need assistance. As far as pricing goes, some items are reasonably priced, while others are a bit on the expensive side. You really have to know your prices and what you're shopping for. I do appreciate some of their dollar deals, though! The selection is massive, especially when it comes to hair, wigs, weaves, and other beauty products. There are aisles upon aisles of merchandise, so be prepared to spend some time browsing. Having plenty of options is definitely a plus, even if it can feel like a lot to take in. Overall, if you enjoy shopping at large beauty supply stores with an enormous selection, this is definitely a place worth checking out!

My goodness, whatever you are looking for that is hair related you will find it here. I was with my daughter and we like to browse, so we were in our heaven! I must say the wig section was very impressive. If you don't find what you're looking for it probably doesn't exist. The only problem is you can't try them on. This place would get 5 stars if it wasn't for the staff. Like another Hairtown I shop at, the staff thinks everybody is a shoplifter, so you're always under constant surveillance. They need more staff that are familiar with the merchandise and friendlier attitude and they would have a great store. I would still recommend this Hairtown for one stop shopping for everything Hair!

I am updating my review; because the price for a Caramel treatment is ridiculously high in the…read moreshop! Therefore, I was able to purchase these products at several hair shops independently. However, after using the products, they were too drying to my hair. I realized that tea tree oil was in one of the products; which is treated for dandruff, but drying to the hair. Although, the other natural ingredients were good, I was able to create my own recipe, and have a much better outcome. The stylists are very good with styling the hair. However, there needs to be more concern for "hair care" as well. Stylists should suggest when a trim needs to be done, or make suggestions on whether or not the hair is damaged, and what products should be used to maintain the hair, etc.

Who knows what's in these products that we think are safe. I purchased a tube of Jane Carter hair nourishing cream to blow out my hair.
