This hospital has EXTREMLY poor communication. Was told I had to do a COVID screening test a day…read moreprior to a scheduled surgery. Got there, waited in line at registration for 10 to 15 minutes, finally check-in, they advised to proceed up to the 2nd floor waiting room by the lab. Sat there for 10 minutes. Then lab tech comes out to tell me COVID screenings are no longer required. KSB is a 30 minute drive 1 way. So I was on the road for an hour, plus time wasted in the registration line and time waiting in LAB waiting room. This was also time taken from my job. I felt this was total irresponsibility and neglect of the hospital. The registration desk should have been advised screenings were no longer needed, and/or the Dr. that ordered it in the first place should have been advised and called me. This was at the main Dixon location, but the Oregon satellite office is just as bad. If you leave a message at Oregon, don't expect a call back for at least 3 days if you are lucky enough to even get a call back!

I'm very happy with my primary doctor at KSB. I come to the ER at 2:30AM with a pain level of 9 in…read moremy throat while swallowing and right ear. Doctor gives me an IV with a steroid and another with an antibiotic. Leaves for two hours with no explanation of how long I will be here or what I'm waiting for. Nurse comes in and says sip this water. I came here because I cannot swallow!! CGH next ER visit.
