They don't have common prescriptions in stock. The last two times I've needed very common antibiotics, they've been out of stock.

Worst customer service ever. Especially the pharmacy department. No one would acknowledge patients waiting. The service is just very rude, especially the pharmacists. We went there for the very first time today to get passport photos taken; we are never going back there again while that incredibly rude white, male employee, who may very well have been a store supervisor, is employed there! We had our 3-year old with us who also needed a passport photo and, naturally, toddlers are not the easiest to keep still. A female employee was doing her best to help us, instructing us to have our toddler stand on the chair so that enough of her upper body could be against the white backdrop. We took several shots none of which passed the passport photo review application. At one point our toddler needed some comforting/calming down cuz she was staring to get self conscious about all the other people around looking at her. Then this white, male employee/supervisor came rushing at us, gesticulating and all, saying that we were done and needed to leave and that our toddler should not have been made to stand on the chair to begin with (which was his staff's instruction at the beginning!!!). Then he said that it was dangerous and that it should've been "common sense" to not do that. We tried to deescalate the guy but he was too far gone no matter how many times we told him that he didn't need to come at us the way he did. He then went further to say they don't do kids' photos - which is not advertised anywhere on there website nor on their automated message when I called beforehand! My husband told that white, male employee one more time while paying for the photos we did manage to take of just us (the parents) that his handling of the situation was completely inappropriate but it just set the dude off even more that he practically escorted my husband out the front door! That was our first time in that Walgreens, and it is now our last! read more

Came here on Wednesday April 15th .. Manager of the store closed the door at 9:40 pm!!! I walked for 20 minutes from my home to buy what I need , and had to walk home back With nothing!!! If i could leave a 0 i would! I was charged $40.09 and it went through my bank. It was an invalid charge, the store manger even acknowledged that. But because he claimed they had no record of it he wouldn't it. My husband even showed him the bank records proving they had in fact taken it out. He offered a gift card, for that store. We don't have a car and I use Uber, I needed that money to get to work. I had to call corporate to get anywhere! Terrible customer service! Mother nature decided to make an unexpected visit while i was on vacation and this location was about 5 mins from my hotel. I was staying at the Hampton Inn. It was the Saturday before Easter so there were lots of people buying candy and odds and ends to make their own Easter baskets, and other products you run into Walgreens' to buy, so I was surprised that there was only one register open at 10 in the morning. False promises of Covid vaccine coverage. I made an appointment and went there. The web site had said "No cost," and, "We can bill Medicare Part B and your qualified supplemental insurance." I got there. long drive. I showed my supplemental insurance card and Medicare card. The pharmacist said, "Medicare Part B wants you to go to Kaiser Permanente." That pharmacist was either incorrect or Walgreen's website gave bad or incomplete information. Or banner enticements with caveats hidden in the boilerplate? Bad. read more

I buy bronkaid for my neighbor and with the fires and the smoke she needs it. Every g********* time I go they tell me their system is down, today was the topper. They rang it up the pharmacist/ cashier didn't know what she was doing. Somehow something went wrong, ask the supervisor so they proceeded to ring it up again ok but since its a controlled substance it wouldn't ring up because there is a limit of the 2 boxes i believe, so I get the canned excuse that the systems down, funny been to all Walgreens in my neighborhood this is the only location this happens at. Don't go here. They suck. I've seen druggies shooting up in their back parking lot every time I go I feel unsafe. read more

When it takes over an hour to get someone to pick up the phone and you have to babysit any Schedule II prescriptions instead of them filling them automatically when it's 30 days after the last one is picked up, it's a nightmare dealing with their pharmacy these days. They used to be on top of things and I never had to worry about getting my ADHD prescriptions filled timely WITHOUT a phone call from me, but in the past 6 months, that has been nonexistent. Since I'm stuck with Walgreens, or I have to pay an additional 10% coinsurance, I'll go to the one on 132nd in Kent. This one is plain HORRIBLE. read more

Very unprofessional staff, lack of explaining situations, easy get mad and he claimed that he is a manager when I'm asking to talk to someone higher than him to get better explain why I can't pay for the medicine by myself , he told me go to Safeway or Cosco , and will transfer my prescription there, I'm waiting in Safeway for long time and no transfer for them to give me my prescription when I'm very sick and can't wait long time . this place went from a 100 % in my book to a -5000 (that's minus folks) I use to get all my scripts from here all the time. But ever since they got a new pharmacist, this place is NOT even worth going to for the convenience. I kid you not the last 5 times I have gone here, rude experiences, when you have to count out your ADHD + pain medication before you leave the parking lot that's a huge red flag, when i called them on it, i was told that they would NEVER make those kind of mistakes. after i requested they do a inventory on medication (this is to hold accountable people that work for a company that steal, and manipulate numbers for their illegal habbit. This is a real thing! the last time this happned, and i was given 2 different types of the same medication just brand name differwnce. one of the medications didnt work at all, nothing, i was told i would have to get another script from my doctor, and that (they enver usually do this), and when i stood up for mysef saying that i wouldnt leave without my medication, i flat out refused....to go through their hoops they gave it to me out of haste to get rid of me, Now everytime i go there for adhd or pain medications, im told "WERE OUT" "we dont have any. i know this is just a way to try to get me to not come here anymore. mission accomplished. i WILL NOT support buisnesses that do NOT SUPPORT ME ! i refuse. so this place might be convient . AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL! Pharmacy is AWFUL! Waited in the drive-through line for nearly THIRTY minutes with 1 car ahead of us. They had at least 3 tech's I could see & not ONE acknowledged us! My husband finally rang the bell and the pharmacist said there were other people ahead of us (inside. They probably got tired of waiting in the drive-thru). So why not put a sign on the window or temporarily close drive-thru so they can get caught up?! SOME sort of communication would have been nice, but to sit there for SO long with no acknowledgement when you're already feeling miserable?! RIDICULOUS & UNACCEPTABLE. The cashier was surprisingly unhelpful and rude. I anticipated a digital coupon to apply and all I did was try to ask for clarification on my transaction since I could not see the large screen. She could not really tell me why the coupon did not go through, which I could not blame her for but I didn't appreciate the clearly made up reason she tried to give me. I did not demand that the coupons be applied, instead politely asked to have the item removed. She was clearly annoyed by that and made it clear with her manners and mumbling under her breath. The manager cleared it but it was the same price without the item so I asked her to just go ahead and add it, clearly even more annoyed with me, she refused stating that she could not add more items to the transaction after I had submitted my rewards number. I decided to not bother her anymore, thanked her for her help and decided to leave. I then went to another Walgreens where the worker took the time to make sure that I was getting the correct pricing. He was absolutely helpful and nice and did not seemed bothered by me asking to see if the digital coupons went through. He had no problem adding items after I had put in my rewards number. read more

On hold on the phone for over 45min being 3rd in line about RX is unacceptable. Time sensitive RX is not filled in a timely manner, and because they did not answer their phone it was impossible to transfer the RX to another pharmacy. Definitely will never use it again. read more

I've been on the same prescriptions for over a decade and use them responsibly for symptom management. I'm also in Healthcare and understand the side effects, risks and warnings associated with certain medication. My doctor has had me on the same treatment plan, unchanged for over a decade. This month, yet another new pharmacist was behind the counter. (the 3rd new one in 2 weeks). When I dropped off my prescription the tech eyeballed me and went to the pharmacist to whisper something (?) Then he came to the counter and handed the script back to me saying there was no ICD 10 code on it. ( he doesn't know I'm a healthcare provider) I pointed to the ICD 10 code written across the top as it always is and said "you mean this one?". He then shrugged his shoulders and said that Tylenol with Codeine cannot be written as "T#3" and that he's refusing to fill it. Of course, that isn't true but I thought maybe he just graduated? Not from the US? Something to give him the benefit of the doubt. So, I drove to the doctors office and had her write "APAP w/ Codeine". Returning to the pharmacy he then accepted it but said "your wait time will be two hours". Huh. Weird, because the next 7 patrons behind me, he said "your wait time is 15-20". Also note: He wasn't wearing a name badge and neither was his tech. Something is fishy about this guy. Please be careful when filling here. Check your pills, dosage, number dispensed etc. if you have any "gut" feelings that something is off. It probably is. read more

We got a hater here who dislikes When people use coupons her name was emerald Esmeralda whatever her name is. I've always used coupons at this location and she told me I wasn't allowed to use more than one coupon that they limited to one coupon per day per customer. I asked to speak to store manager she told me that they wouldn't be in til Monday.I went in the next day to coupon again and the girl who works in the mornings who's older told me that's not true that we're not allowed to use multiple coupons on one item but was allowed to use however many I wanted for different items as long as it wasn't for the same item or a Catalina etc. read more

I have called ahead to make sure machines were running, they had enough paper (per employee request) only to be called 7 hrs after my order that they cant do it! Extremely frustrated! I recently moved to the area which I'm still getting used too. I shop at the Walgreens where I often see sosina the African young lady who is employed at this location. I give her alot of credit and and everyone should being she is at the most unpredictable shadiest area of location of the highest crime and she handles herself very well with the customers who also admire her great work! Place is clean and staff is always friendly. Although the area is not ideal but it's the cleanest walgreens I've been to. Parking is kind of a pain because it's next to a Mexican bar and at night you get all the drinks and thrives. One thing is that this store is a good in handling all that. read more

This is the Walgreens at the Kent Des Moines exit. It is a fairly big store and the staff is fairly pleasant. They tend to have fairly good inventory of sale items. If my store is out of something, I will make the drive here. read more

The staff is nice and welcoming especially cashiers and pharmacist was ok too. Sometimes shop at this Walgreens and stopped by for Thanksgiving as well. Greeted nicely by the staff at the register. Unfortunately despite the nice staff - the security guy is rude to customers and his "help" is shallow and hypocritical. With his behavior he is possibly making the customer go away without returning to this store. I say that because of these situations: around a year ago i and everyone else in the store witnessed a theft. A guy just walked in this store and stole a beverage in front of everyone and there was no security person to stop him at all or do something about the atmosphere where theft just happened and customers and everyone witnessed it. Dont know if security guy just stood there and did nothing to stop someone who just robbed the store or he was not present at that time- however more likely the first. The thief literally walked out with the stolen goods and there was no security person to stop him! However as recently, when it comes to masks - this security guy would literally micromanage your every masked move to make sure your mask didnt slip just a tiny bit while none is around you to remind you that it slipped while absolutely none is around you or close to you like it was case on Thanksgiving when the store was almost empty 40 mins before closing. But when it comes to solving issues like theft and robbing the store where he would actually need to face a criminal - he is gone for good! How courageous! This review is for the most incompetent, disrespectful and unprofessional pharmacy I have ever done business with. If I could give them zero stars I would. There isn't a friendly person who works there and there is never, nor has there ever been, and sense of urgency or customer care. This isn't the first time I've been unhappy with the service here (because I've felt this way every single time I've gone here for a prescription ) I have just had enough of this place. Today, I was treated rudely by an associate who was having challenges but didn't appear to want to ask for help. I have fulfilled prescriptions here before, but one of my children wasn't showing in the system, so instead of asking for my insurance information (which would have matched the other 3 family members in the system) she said very rudely, "you wanna pay full price for this then?" Um no, I have a card..do you need it? After NOT putting my insurance info in and misspelling my son's name, she chose not to page me even though I told her I was waiting for my prescription in the store. With two sick toddlers in tow, 30 minutes later, I go to check on the prescriptions and they have been ready...but were not billed correctly. I talked to the manager, who fixed it, and he was very cordial but didn't seem to really care that I was telling him that I was taking my business elsewhere. IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE, DO NOT GO TO THIS PHARMACY. THEY VERY WELL MAY MESS UP YOUR PRESCRIPTION AND WILL DEFINITELY TAKE MUCH LONGER THAN MOST PHARMACIES. NOT WORTH MY TIME. read more
