This store Is horrible, they never have medications any more to fill a prescrition and have to order everything de laying the prescription for a Day or two, they are always way behind filling anything and lines are long. The drive through is a joke the intercome does not work and you constantly have to scream your information to the attendant numerous times in hopes of the reading your lips. I GUESS THEY DON'T CARE THEY ARE VIOLATING HIPPA LAWS, as everyone in the drive through heard everyone screaming. I'm done with this CLOWN SHOW! I purchased greenies pill pockets for my dog's medication. These pill pockets were expired by (3) years! I did not notice this for almost 5 days. My dog was extremely sick and had to be taken to the vet. I called. Walgreens spoke with the manager. She was not helpful at all. She literally just said oh sorry I'll check the rest of them make sure you check the expiration date on anything you buy at the store! read more

It was the day before the hurricane, and I knew the store would be closed indefinitely afterward. All they had to do was hand me the prescription, and they blew me off. they are uncaring and negligent! This is by far the worst Walgreens ever. The pharmacy is completely disorganized. I tried to pick a prescription that THEY TOLD ME was ready to pick up, then I get there and they say it's not ready to come back after 11. So I do, then the pharmacist starts lecturing me about why she can't fill it until tomorrow. So I come back tomorrow and again, she refuses to give me the medication because she said it had t been 30 days. I told her the ONLY REASON I am attempting to pick it up is because SHE TILD ME TO and the staff all told me to pick it up yesterday. They honestly treated me like a drug addict begging for drugs. Welcome to Creep City. After leaving here, I felt like I might be the next victim in a Jaycee Dugard type kidnapping. I'm not even trying to be funny here, it was pretty sketch city. I'm on vacation and I need some detangling spray for my ratty swimming hair and Aleve D for the major headache my family was giving me. Lucky for me, my lovely boyfriend offered to buy my hair products while I went to the pharmacy for my over the counter purchase. Now, for those of you not familiar with the miracle drug, Aleve D, it clears your sinus' and makes you feel like a million bucks... you can also use it to cook up your very own meth lab, apparently, so you have to get your license scanned if you want to purchase it. I give my out of state license to the pharmacist, a late 40 early 50 something man with salt and pepper hair. He takes one look and I get a "is this really your id?". Well, of course it is... and even if it weren't, what kind of meth head is gonna give up the truth? I explained that the ID is almost 10 years old so I look a little different now. He explains that he was also from IL and wanted to know where I grew up. I told him the town and he said that it's also where he grew up. What high school did I go to was the next question? I, stupidly, answered and he then he told me about the catholic high school he went to. I was familiar with it so I made small talk while I waited for him to finish scanning my license and FSA card. He then got to telling me, in a real creep-o, way- how he was a real rebel and got kicked out of his high school several times. He said it the way a high school kid would say it when he's trying to look cool, ya know, because I'm impressed with my pharmacists ability to get kicked out of high school for drugs and behavior problems. Then he asks me, after slightly ducking and checking for coworkers, if I like to party... because he's having a new years eve party at his place (mind you, I live in Illinois, 5 states away from him- thankfully), if I want to come, he'd love to invite me and any pretty friends I have. Chills pretty much ran up my spine and I was ready to get the hell outta dodge. I left after his 6th attempt at swiping my license, and after my realization that he now has my address on file somewhere. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Thank God I was leaving with my Dad, scary brother, and protective BF. That night, I stayed in at the hotel, a little because I was tired from swimming all day, but mostly because I didn't want to be napped by any Walgreens psycho killers... Qu'est-ce que c'est?? Run, run, run, run, run, run, run awaaaay. PS- the 2 stars are because my detangling spray was affordable and easy to find. read more

It must be a Florida thing...these people and their niceness. And the ability to keep a store clean and things in the place they are supposed to be....Or how about things properly labeled with the right price? The only thing that was shocking to me was that a ten pack of sterile 4x4 gauze bandages was seven bucks?! Maybe it's because I work in a hospital and I know how much that is supposed to cost... or maybe it because That's a rip off! Seriously I will have to poke around in a few stores in LA and see what the average price is for that stuff. I know our pharmacy sells is for three dollars and that's for a tray of twenty. read more

Sent a friend with a list to the pharmacy at the Crystal River Walgreens as I am deathly sick with the flu. He returned with a different brand of medicine than what I wrote down wasting my money time and gas. not to mention the delay in taking the medicine. I asked him why and he said the pharmacist had picked out this instead. I find that rather rude and presumptuous of her. I called up and spoke with Molly who was entirely rude on the phone and actually chuckled thinking that this was very funny when indeed it was NOT AT ALL FUNNY. Next time a customer requests something specific Walgreens I WOULD SEND THEM WHAT THEY ASK FOR NOT WHAT YOU WANT TO. I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS WALGREENS AGAIN. read more

I was at lunch with a group of 16, and 8 other people at the table had complaints about the same Walgreens employee at the Crystal River location. There is a brunette female who works in the pharmacy who is rude, unprofessional, condescending and loudly nasty to the customers. I was amazed at how many in our group were not only aware of this unpleasant person, but also how many had switched pharmacies solely because of her. Several of us are medical professionals and several more have a great deal of experience dealing with the public and/or are in retail- and we are astounded that she keeps her job. She appears to be enjoying some manner of power trip, and seems to relish belittling the people attempting to fill prescriptions. You need to find a pharmacy technician who can not only count tablets but interact with your paying customers competently. read more

Staying in Crystal River for ManateeFest. I am a volunteer and we table the event. I suffered from a severe migraine and needed my medicine refilled ASAP. This Walgreens filled my prescription in under 10 minutes. Super courteous and understanding! read more
