    Employee sitting in car

Came here at 10 pm because I had a terrible headache just to find out the employee locked the doors and was just sitting in there car. they were locking the doors and walking to there car right as I was as pulling in. Checked store hours it said they were open for another hour

SUITABLE LITTLE WALGREENS w/ limited stock. The Walgreens on Coronado Island has a good amount of over-the-counter items but not near as much as a regular sized Walgreens given the size of the store. The store seems a little messy and needs a revamp in parts of it.. It's weird because some parts of the store (especially the outside) seem very modern and others don't. I was thankfully able to find what I needed and the staff were pleasant. There's a grab-n-go lunch area, pharmacy and teeny Photo Booth with limited access. I think this Walgreens is great for a quick visit but I'd drive to the mainland for anything extra. The charming size of the store makes its an enjoyable stop, I really liked visiting!

There's a reason this Walgreens has terrible reviews. I just literally ran on foot with a bad back to get there before close for a prescription I need from my surgeon. I walked up at 5:59pm, impressed that I made it just in time as the guy was closing the gate, and he kindly told me to go around when a woman pharmacist told him "no!" from the back and to close the gate because it was "after 6pm." I turned around, took the screenshot below on my phone to show the time, and left because I don't want to give them business anyway, and will have the prescription transferred first thing in the morning. And as a prescriber, I will never send my patients to such a poor establishment that doesn't know how to serve patients before close, and also can't read a clock.

Easy to get to and within walking distance. It has pretty much what you expect of Walgreens.

Ridiculous wait time for rx that should have been ready. Several employees moving at the speed of sloth. Avoid at all costs

Deanna in the pharmacy dept is super helpful, along with all of the pharmacists.

Prices did seem a bit inflated but you're in a Ralph's downtown in San Diego so it was expected. Bathrooms require a code with a purchase from the store which was also to be expected. Employees there are definitely rude and sarcastic which brought down the experience of going there. They do have a patio but there are a good amount of homeless people around there so not sure if eating your lunch there is the best idea.

I entered the store and found my way to the back were the bathrooms are only to find that I needed a code to unlock the door. I suppose that is a necessary evil given the homeless problem in and around the store. For folks like me who just need to pee, it was a real hassle. I scouted around the store for a couple of minutes looking for an employee who might provide me with the code. After not having any luck, I said "F*ck it" and left. I just held it until we arrived at the building where the car was parked and used the facilities there. The store, did however, look like a pretty good Ralph's if you live or were staying nearby.

Overpriced. Inconvenient. No longer the value it use to be…read more A long time patron and resident of Vantage Point, I can say that it is no longer what it was. I'm trying to find a redeeming quality about this market. Clearly no longer a customer focused business. No longer convenient. The greatest marketing point of this store includes is its grab and go style, stylish storefront and app with ample selection, and a checkout free shopping experience. Let's start with prices. Outrageous. Everything is marked up at least double or more. Considering they use to deliver and the hours were accommodating, the convenience was worth it. Take those away what is the value? Pictured is a bag of Cheetos for almost $7. Half a gallon of milk at almost $5. Insane. Delivery service, which use to consist of door delivery is now limited to lobby only delivery? Terrible. Why would anyone want that. The whole point of delivery is so that I don't have to go downstairs. It's suppose to be contactless. Hungover from last night? Need a Gatorade, water, or aspirin? Forget about it. Store doesn't open until 11 am. Late night snack? Ice cream or some chips while you wind down and watch TV? Sorry, the market closed at 8 pm. Let's answer the obvious questions. What's the point of having a convenient store when the hours of operation aren't convenient. Employees need to be present? Why if they no longer deliver to apartments. What's the point of having an employee-less checkout, cameras, sensors, if I can't buy anything without the store being open??? Why not have resident only access outside of public hours? What's the point of the fob at the doors. Resident discount? Maybe rewards program for # of orders or $ spent? At least pretend to have perks while you're up charging me. I will gladly take my business up the block, Cortez Market, open 8am-9pm. The difference? Convenient hours. Reliable staff. Fair prices. Wide selection. Including booze! Go check it out! They literally have everything and more!

When I first moved into Vantage Pointe back in May 2022, Valet Market was wonderful. It used to be…read morethis really cool, high tech, self service store that was open 24/7 and even offered delivery services up to your unit. Not sure what happened a few months into our lease that the store started to change. The hours got reduced and deliveries were no longer offered. Eventually they shut down the store which was very inconvenient. To our surprise, the store eventually reopened but it was no longer high tech and self service but instead just like any regular "convenience" store. It was always been overpriced but without all the perks, I personally can't justify the prices. Regardless, I still try to use Valet, but it's almost impossible to. Most of the times when I try to go to the store there is a sign on the door stating that the cashier will be "back in 10 minutes". This is extremely frustrating. Today I stopped by at 10:05am during my 10 minute break from my remote job because I was (and still am) hungry. There was a sign that said they would return in 5 minutes. I waited my entire 10 minute break and no one showed up. I went back down around 10:40 and the sign was still up with the door locked. I can't keep on going back and forth during my working hours. It would be helpful if they invested in a clock sign where they can let us know what time they are going to be back because who know when the "back in 5 min" sign was originally posted. I wish there was a manager who could assist or some sort of customer service option. It's be even better if they had two employees working to cover each others breaks, but I understand that's not very cost efficient for the company. I am very disappointed that Valet has turned into this. I really hope it improves.
