As our transaction is nearing completion and all we need is the receipt, that's when the cashier decides that it's the perfect time to walk away from us and show a picture on her phone as well as engage in light conversation with another customer. Meanwhile we're still waiting for the receipt, eagerly wanting to leave the store and get on with our day. Eventually she came back to hand us the receipt, and we were set free. I know cashiers are human and want to talk to their friends, but don't walk away while you're helping someone else. That's just rude and makes the customer feel like they aren't valued. Thanks a bunch. Will not be returning.
