All of my encounters in the past 6 months since switching have been pleasant, quick, and painless. The staff is friendly and this pharmacy is honestly classy AF! When my son was sick they offered me a free measuring spoon or dropper to make giving him the medicine easier. I am pretty sure they even have complimentary pill holders (the kind with a section for each day of the week) but I am not 100% positive they are free. The atmosphere is clean and inviting, they often have plants on the counter. It's also not only located next to the health aids in the store, but also close to the natural health and organic section of the store, which I think adds to the upscale vibe. That said, they have helped me out with a very expensive prescription by using an in store coupon that I had no knowledge about, so I'm actually paying less out of pocket than I was at CVS! 5/5

Having spent my entire life working in customer service, I can say, without a doubt, that one rarely finds a business so proficiently run as this one. Upon first look, one might think this pharmacy to be limited due to the modest storefront and interior, however, I assure you, it is everything but. The store is pristine in its cleanliness, as one would expect from a newly opened establishment. The retail shelves are stocked with some medical necessities as befits a tiny brick and mortar pharmacy, but do not be fooled by the size of the storefront, as the pharmacy itself is sure to be able to fill the prescriptions your doctor has ordered. In addition to actually having my medications filled quickly, this pharmacy should be the model for all pharmacies worldwide when it comes to customer service! I was greeted as soon as I entered the store,by a friendly, smiling associate behind the counter. When I informed them that I had some questions for the pharmacist, it took a few quick seconds for the pharmacist, and owner, to greet me with a huge smile and amicable persona, introducing himself by name. After showing him the list of medications I take regularly, he assured me he could fill all meds when needed. He then offered to contact my pharmacies and have all existing scripts on file with them, sent over, making my transition to Bonhamtown Pharmacy a wonderfully efficient and painless process. After we went over my meds, he gave me their business card and I shook his hand whilst expressing my relief and gratitude to have found his pharmacy. For the first time in my life I left a pharmacy feeling assured by, and happy with, the customer service experience I had just had. Since that awe inspiring first experience, I have had multiple scripts filled by them. My scripts have been filled QUICKLY, and I was always informed by phone call and text that my prescriptions were ready. The pharmacy also uses email if requested. Their impeccable customer service is accessible, as well, by email and two way text (not just automated texts). They are always easy to contact and quick to reply if not immediately. I have encountered other patrons along the way who also freed themselves from big pharmacies, and they all have expressed the same gratefulness for having found such a greatly run pharmacy. In fact, I have never encountered an unhappy customer while at this pharmacy, which, in and of itself, speaks volumes! Pharmacy giants like Walgreens, CVS, Target, etc..., may have huge stores stocked with everything from auto care to frozen dinners, but that's all to distract you while you wait unbearably long times for your script to be filled by one of a multitude of unhappy drones working the pharmacy counter who don't know you from anyone else they've dealt with that day. Those massive chain pharmacies make you feel like just a number, and, due to being understaffed with overwhelming volumes of scripts they have to fill, they often (VERY OFTEN) make mistakes which are extremely challenging to have corrected. The list of negative traits inherent in these corporate giants goes on and on, but this isn't a review for their horrific customer service. I mention big corporate pharmacies because I feel like I have finally freed myself of a decades long abusive relationship and found the perfect one. The sigh of relief I expelled, when I first realized this, was one which I felt on a deep, soulful, level. I HIGHLY recommend Bonhamtown pharmacy, whether you are getting just a one time prescription filled, or have many that you need filled often. They are personable and very helpful, provide their services on a personal level, and you can be assured that you are in good hands! Even if you don't live close to this pharmacy, it is worth driving to for something as important as medications; I know I would. I would drive hours for exemplary service like theirs, especially since medications are not something I want dealt with lightly and haphazardly. This is my local Rite Aid that I am in once a day. There is always a super long line for checkout…read more They do not have enough cashiers working. No matter WHAT the line is at least two people deep. It's never just a "run in quick" type of place. Today the phone lines were down in the pharmacy. This posed a huge problem and inconvenience for me as my doctor had called me in an antiobiotic. The rx request was sitting in the voicemail that was not able to be checking. As of 1:45 pm, phone lines are STILL down. This is unacceptable for people who need medication. The phone lines should have been fixed quickly. Unfortunately my doctor was unavailable and unable to send my rx to another pharmacy.

The appointment was confirmed via text and email, and was for Saturday, 11/26/22 at 10am. I completed the mobile check in upon arrival, and was confused to see that the pharmacy was empty and the security gates were drawn (they were supposed to open at 9). After waiting over 15 minutes, I went to get a customer service number from the Target employees, as this pharmacy is located in a target store. The rep I spoke with on the phone was completely clueless, to put it extremely nicely. I explained my situation several times, and was repeatedly asked if I'd like to make an appointment. The representative seemed to have no idea that I was AT my appointment and wondering where the employees were. After many frustrating minutes and reiterations of my situation, she finally seemed to understand what i was saying and transferred me to someone else. Almost a dozen other folks also waiting for pharmaceutical help looked on nodding their heads in shared disgust. After waiting entirely too long with no new connection, I decided my time had been wasted enough and left the store. I am a healthy 30 year old man simply looking for a preventative flu shot; I truly feel for any senior or person of compromised health who arrived today with the expectation of receiving necessary drugs or other help, and left empty handed. Things happen; any working citizen post -COVID understand how tough things are right now. But the fact that the pharmaceutical staff all ran late, unexpectedly closed, or whatever may have been the case, and left not a single sign, notice, or even communication with the store is disgusting, and potentially dangerous to folks who may have counted on this pharmacy for critical help.
