This store is located inside a strip mall, which is part of the former "Oak-Wood" Shopping Plaza. When I walked inside, I noticed that the interior of the store looked quite old. That actually reminded me of the time when I was a kid, and in another Walgreens in Garwood in the 90s, which was also (but not anymore) located inside a strip mall (Garwood Mall). When I walked in, I was greeted by employees who were busy stocking up shelves. Speaking of the shelves, a lot of them were very well stocked. The person at the register was very kind. As with any Walgreens, the sale prices that they have are reasonable. Overall, I'm a fan! :D

This means that our 86 parent - who is immobile and does not own a computer or smart phone, has been unable to access his medication for over 48 hours. We do not live in the same state, so I am unable to drive to get this medication!!! CEO Mike Motz perhaps thinks managing people's life-dependent medicines is like selling office supplies like his former job at Staples. Each pharmacist, and all of the pharmacy technicians, work together and are so kind, so patient, and always working nonstop, and they are so friendly and caring. :) They answer questions without rushing, double check everything, make sure to explain things clearly, and somehow still greet me with a smile, (even when it's super busy!) that means a lot. Their ability to always maintain a welcoming, respectful environment, all throughout the busiest times, is truly commendable. I feel lucky to have such a reliable crew looking out for me and my family. Huge thanks to each of you for what you do every day, you really make a difference. Side note, I have been coming to this Walgreens with my family since it was built, and I'm proud to say this is my home town pharmacy.

So, I had a prescription of Iron medicine for my Kid. They provided an over-the-counter medicine charging me more than 3 times than its available on Target/Walmart/Amazon. It was not a generic / Custom medicine. Market price is around $8 and I was charged $31 for the same brand and quantity. That huge was the difference. When I understood the issue, I went back next day with the bottle (not opened and sealed and they didn't agree to take it back. If it was a custom created medicine, I would have agreed but it was just a standard medicine. Pharmacies do have a policy to not take medicines back but it's not applicable for over-the-counter ones. Sorry Colonia, I am not going to recommend you to anyone anymore.

This posed a huge problem and inconvenience for me as my doctor had called me in an antiobiotic. The rx request was sitting in the voicemail that was not able to be checking. As of 1:45 pm, phone lines are STILL down. This is unacceptable for people who need medication. The phone lines should have been fixed quickly. My husband and I have been CVS customers for many years. We stopped using them for prescription…read morerefills about 8 years ago because we were able to pay less at Walmart pharmacy for generic drugs. My husband must take a very expensive medication to control his MS symptoms, which is injectable and must be kept cold. CVS Specialty Pharmacy insisted that the medication had to be shipped to the nearest retail location. The shipment consisted of a 90-day supply of injections. When my husband went to pick it up, the tech handed him a single needle. When my husband asked where the rest of the shipment was, it was sitting on the floor and had not been refrigerated. My husband refused delivery and CVS had to eat the cost of the medication, which was about $1,500. I prefer the Rahway CVS to the Woodbridge location because it is a larger store and seems to have a better selection and quantity of merchandise available. The Woodbridge store is much smaller and seems to be very crowded. If additional space should become available in the future, this location should definitely expand. Otherwise, a new, more spacious store should be built somewhere else in Woodbridge.
