CVS Pharmacy

Only leaving one star because there is no way to make it any less (#ZeroStars). If it came down to…read morewhether I live or die, and this was the last pharmacy on earth, I would eagerly choose death. I was banned from the pharmacy because I complained about their obnoxious callback system that starts calling back incessantly to refill prescriptions before you even get home from picking up the first one. Instead of doing the logical thing and reporting the problem to someone at CVS who can actually fix their out-of-control auto-dialer, they decided it was easier to change my phone number to a fake number in the system, and then insisted it was all "fixed." When I pointed out that it doesn't fix the problem, it just creates a new one, the unpleasant woman who "helped" me got defensive (and rather ugly) about it. When I went back a couple of months later to pick up my first refill, she (same person) tersely informed me that the store would not be filling any more prescriptions for me - I'd have to go somewhere else, perhaps the next-closest CVS in Waynesville (almost 25 mile drive). I guess it's too hard for the mighty princess to provide good service to someone who doesn't bow down in full submissiveness to her royal presence. The pharmacist was standing right there listening to the whole thing, but I guess it was easier for her (the pharmacist) to ignore the customer's needs than to endure more wrath from the she-devil she has to work with every day. Who needs that kind of attitude? Called corporate to complain and sat in their queue forever until I finally was able to leave a voice mail. I asked them to leave a direct call back number if they missed me, because I wasn't going to sit in the queue on the main customer service number again. They dutifully left a message instructing me to call back (you'll never guess where) the main number (and sit in the queue again, and essentially start all over again). Not worth wasting my time. Plenty of other pharmacies in town (especially the one with the curly W like the Nats) who are happy to have our business and who don't treat customers as an unnecessary inconvenience. I'm banned, and I will never set foot in that CVS or any other CVS. You shouldn't either. On my walk of shame out of the store, I thanked the front counter folks for always being so nice, and I hope they have a nice life. #Done

Publix Super Market - Entrance

Publix Super Market

I'm still crying as I type this, I have never been so humiliated. We've been shopping at Publix for…read morethree decades, and I knew Carol Barnett personally, but i will never again return to THIS location-despite the sincere apologies from the very kind store manager and a very sympathetic CSR Savannah - because ONE rotten apple employee. After a fabulous afternoon birthday tea with friends, I popped into Publix Waynesville. The lines were long, so I opted for self-checkout. Packing bags , I was admittedly was slow and deliberate as I am not good at "bagging". I also looked to note that items were being rung up properly (ex. BOGO) so it probably took me about 5 minutes to ring up a full trolley of goods and pack them. As I was placing the receipt into my purse and preparing to vacate the spot, an employee came up and loudly announced that she "did not see me ring up my paper towels" and demanded the receipt. This is something that she HAS THE TECHNOLOGY to check without uttering a word to me. It was an obvious attempt at public humiliation (why?). Several people put their head on a swivel to see the drama of someone loudly being accused of shoplifting paper towels. I wanted to crawl under the register and die, but I could only manage to hand her the receipt and put my head down. After the employee saw her obvious mistake, she only said "okay, thank you" and handed me the receipt back. I asked the monitor standing nearby "why" she did that, to which she gave no reasonable explanation. I barely made it to my vehicle before I broke out in tears and phoned my husband, who instructed me to return all the groceries immediately. I will give credit where credit is due and say that both Savannah and the store manager on duty were very sympathetic and understood how in this very small town, this would be utterly humiliating. They apologised profusely and the manager even offered to walk me and my groceries (that I didn't return) back to my vehicle. Regardless, the embarrassement of being falsely accused in such a way as to shame me publicly - when I did absolutely nothing wrong, has forever ruined shopping at the Waynesville Publix. Thankfully, I still have Sarasota Publix.

I was here as a tourist and I needed a few things from the market and Publix was right there, so I went in and I was blown away by the cleanliness, spacious aisles, and selection of products available. Food, dry goods, and drugstore items are all available. Grocery stores are not my favorite stores to go into, but this visit was a treat. I like it very much.
