Yes it's…read moreone of the only gas stations in town, but I was glad to find that they too sold beer, specifically New Belgian Flat Tire. I'm not sure if the Asian worker was the owner or not, but he was there each time that I was there. He wasn't very friendly. But hey, get your beer, gas and snacks and go. Side note: who was the lady who "blessed" my husband when he sneezed? Apparently is a local thing to say "you're so handsome" instead of "bless you". Weird.

It is one of the first stores you come to when entering Murphy and tonight I had to stop and find a restroom. The place is very clean and the bathroom was spotless. I am a sucker for a clean convenience store bathroom. The two clerks were very friendly and even told me they had just mopped the bathroom so to be careful. They were both busy about cleaning the store which was already pretty clean. The gas is decently priced for being so far from a major city and the parking lot was well lit and clean. I would definitely recommend stopping here if you are in the area!

The female owner is from India and she is personable, kind, and attentive. The rest of the staff is great. If you vape, they have a huge selection of many brands (I have not found cheaper Elf Bars anywhere in the surrounding area). They also sell bulk kratom, and it's quite decent kratom - I have switched from buying it online and look forward now to a half hour drive each way to get it from here & hopefully run into the owner. There is a plentiful selection of legal cannabinoids as well here. Prices are so reasonable. The only drawback to the place is there is no public restroom (this is my only sorrow about this spot because after driving that far, I usually need to use one). Gas prices also beat out the surrounding area. I will keep going way out of my way to go there just because I enjoy it so much. It's so interesting to me that someone could come so far to end up in a little obscure place like that, and make something so enjoyable out of a gas station pit stop.
