I brought my scratch off tickets in to check with the cashier on duty and was denied my winnings. I…read morewas also denied access to the general managers information to report. The cashier pulled a ticket out of the garbage can and tried to tell me my ticket was claimed already. It wasn't my ticket in the garbage. I saw the printer print off a winning receipt and he stuck the ticket in the basket with the other winners and only handed me back my losing tickets. I was denied access to the ticket he tore in half as well when I asked for it seeing as I play the second chance tickets on the NC Lottery App. I'm at a loss for what to do about this situation and feel absolutely mortified that I was treated in this manner. I've never had any problems at this location before but yesterday was different. I hope to have luck being in contact with someone higher up in the chain of command but I'm not sure if I will seeing as he may have given me false information claiming I could "come in Monday and speak with him". I would hope that the evidence isn't done away with by then. We will see.
