You walk in and it's spacious and everything is categorized. You have a section for moonshine, wines, liquors, bourbon, whiskey, craft beers, tequila and more. They even have hot sauces, snacks, and ice to go. We mainly went for local craft beers and a bottle of vodka. For parties and big events, I would come here. It's nice and classy. They literally make you show your driver's license to be able to use a credit or debit card. If the…read morename on the card does not match your license, they will not sell to you. What if you're using a nameless prepaid card (like from a tax refund) or you're using your spouse's card etc. From a legal standpoint, in NC a business can't refuse a transaction if the card is signed on the back. And look, I understand there are criminals out there that steal credit/debit cards. However, that doesn't give this business to treat normal customers as such. The next time I go into this store, I'm going to have my phone out recording. When I get refused service for trying using my wife's debit card (which is a joint account with my name on it), I will file a lawsuit. Whenever I win, every employee following this policy will be out of a job. And if the store manager is enforcing this, I will see to it, that she will get fired too.

They had some very cute merch also (I bought a leather coozy and my husband bought a T-shirt). They have live music playing some nights, and they BBQ some days (the bbq smelled delicious!) The staff were incredibly nice and happy to answer questions.
