I stopped here with my husband and one of my close friends after our stay in Cherokee. It's about 20 mins outside of Cherokee and was a very nice drive out. I went for the 6 tastes for $12.00 which is a good deal. Out of the 6 wines I tasted, I ended up buying 3 bottles. The happy hiker, black bear, and southern hospitality are great treats.

Amazing view and interesting wines. Definitely left with two bottles. Family owned since 2016

Loved the drive up and the view. Interesting wines with body and character. What a breath taking view

The view is spectacular and the wines are delicious. The person serving us was knowledgeable and personable without hovering, which allowed us to relax and enjoy ourselves. Highly recommend!

This family is so on point. We were so lucky to visit the winery on our honeymoon. Great staff, great wine, best view. Loved it.

Take the journey and go visit these folks! Great wine and family! The view can't be beat and the wines are amazing.

This place is off the beaten path. Loved the interesting location and friendly service. The owners Heather and Rob have two dogs that come to say hi. Other dogs are not allowed. 6 tastes for $8. I liked the Thomas falls (think Nobello or Kim Crawford ) and Fireside Red. My husband likes the southern hospitality (sweet peach infused Chardonnay ). Overall the wine is decent but not amazing. We also ordered the cheese, crackers and salami. The white sharp cheddar was excellent and my husband loves the salami. Fun place to visit. Be ready drive a gravel road drive up a hill- keep going it's worth it for the experience.

We were staying at a nearby inn and the owners recommended we come here. We followed GPS up some winding roads and came upon a little building with open patio areas, one with a stunning view of the mountains. Keep is mind that a winery is where they make the wine but not necessarily where the grapes are. I believe this winery sources grapes from several sources. We did a tasting (you get to choose from among various wines) and liked the Malbec so much that we bought a bottle. They also supply water and some crackers to help clear your palate. There was also a large, mellow dog that got lots of attention from the patrons. All in all, a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. I've seen negative reviews of this place because they don't allow kids -- that's fine with us! There are multiple signs on the way saying it is strictly 21 and over. If you don't like that policy, then don't bring junior and missy with you.

Cheers!

I enjoy exploring wineries when I travel, and I haven't found one in the Smoky Mountains yet that I haven't enjoyed. This one was off the beaten path which was part of the appeal. The drive through the mountains was very enjoyable, and it is hidden away over a hillside and up another hill. The view is spectacular, the pups are very friendly, the hosts were engaging, and the wines were tasty. It was quite busy when I was there. I would suppose a different time would have been a bit more peaceful. But it was a nice place to stop for a break driving through the mountains, and I left with several bottles of wine to enjoy through the winter. Next time I'm back in the Smokies, I'm sure I'll stop here again.

The drive was a bit rough up to the Winery but it was definitely worth it! Great wine and excellent views

Well worth the drive to this hidden gem. Wines were delicious and reasonably priced. Views are spectacular. I saw the 1 star reviews about being turned away if you bring children. To be fair to this establishment, they have a sign stating that visitors must be 21+. It's their prerogative to set this rule. No reason to trash the business. Our experience matched the majority of other reviews. The owner Rob is very attentive and courteous. We really enjoyed our time here. Would highly recommend.

We spent the morning over at deep Creek, hiking and enjoying the waterfalls. So, we decided to try Deep creek winery. We are glad we did! They were pretty busy for Friday afternoon at 1:30 PM but Rob took care of us and everybody there. Service was excellent. We did the wine tasting and tried a few wines we had never tried before. They were all good. Our favorite was black bear - their sweet blackberry merlot. We also had the cheese, crackers and salami tray. That was tasty. We had a glass of the black bear and bought two black bear bottles to go! We met their two dogs Roi and Ben. Both were super sweet. We enjoyed our visit, and will visit again. The view is beautiful!

Wine tasting with cheese and salami and a great view makes for a perfect day!

Decided to try this out and was very satisfied. All of the seating is outside and they are very cautious with Covid safety. I watched the owner (with mask) wipe down a table with spray immediately after it was vacated. We had the wine tasting which was 6 pours for $8. They have a nice selection. The wines were great. We also had the cheese and salami with crackers and enjoyed everything including the great view. We were not rushed at all. The seating is outdoors but is covered so it is fine during the rain and I noticed heat lamps in the ceiling so I would imagine you could visit when it's cold. It is less than 15 mins drive from downtown Bryson City. We got a bottle to go which was only $16. This is a great place to go and relax and try some wine with a great view. I don't see how anyone would not like it here.

View from the winery

We were in the area for only one night. We like to check out local wineries and vineyards. Absolutely the most gorgeous views. Wines were ok but not from their own grapes and nothing that I had to have a bottle of. The person who waited on us was not particularly friendly.

When you start driving in you begin to wonder if there really is a winery, but keep going! Once you reach the place it is worth it. They source their grapes from California and Europe, so there aren't all just sweet wines. The reds were good, but the whites were very good. Service was very friendly, with a spectacular view. Definitely worth stopping by.

This view is hard to beat.

To begin with, this is one of the most unwelcoming places we have visited…read more We wanted to enjoy an afternoon of wine sampling but changed our minds quickly after entering the facility. A little customer service etiquette and a simple smile would have been a start. The woman who came to meet at us at bar seemed like we were putting her out and being a big bother just to be asking her a question. I don't see how this place could get a rating of 5 when it is so uncomfortable to even enter the premises!! Need to give education on how to welcome people in and present the wines and make us feel comfortable!! We made a long drive for absolutely nothing; have been to many wineries and breweries in areas around Tenn, NC, & Ga. And cans rate them all a 5!! Very miserable experience; glad we walked out before even sitting down!! Can't even rate this place - it's pathetic!! The one star rating should be a -1 !!

The owner/host is a dang delight…read more After a morning hike off of the Blue Ridge Parkway, it was time for lunch and sampling of local boozy goods. I had some spots in Maggie Valley bookmarked, so I made my way to the charming little hamlet. I initially wanted to get food and drink at the local brewery, but despite Yelp and Google saying they were open....that was not the case at all. So...just a little ways up the road was my other bookmarked place: B & C Winery. The whole of Maggie Valley seemed to be a bit deserted, but the winery (which also houses a pharmacy...weird, but you know...small town charming!) was open and I had the place to myself. The woman working greeted me right away and gave me a rundown of what I could do for a tasting while I looked over the multiple rows of offerings. There is almost too much to choose from, but you are sure to find something (or rather, several somethings) in your preferred sweetness or flavor palate. I enjoyed my tasting, enjoyed chatting with the proprietor and learning about the business, and I happily left with a couple bottles of wine to come home with me. I'm not sure I would encourage you to go too far out of your way to stop here. But if you were in the general area or passing through, it is definitely worth a little visit.
