Terrible customer service via phone call, sounded like a young lady and had me on hold for 20 minutes. She first answered then placed me on hold immediately, then ask me the typical questions, I asked why they always ask that, she then said just to verify with an attitude, then said "you know what, let me just transfer you to the pharmacist. Then was place on hold for 15 minutes, she would pick up then immediately place on hold again as to reset the cycle of the silent light before it starts ringing. We as customers and patients depend on our medication in our daily lives. I will be switching Pharmacies after this prescription is filled as this behaviour is unacceptable. read more

It took forever for a person to get on the phone, which is understandable because it's in the middle of Atlanta. But when the lady picked up the phone, she was so aggressive in her tone and kept asking me questions that I gave her the answer to, but apparently not in the way she wanted me to answer. (I do not recommend you do that!). Walked out last time I was here. This time, my Rx was called in over 1.5 hours ago. A simple z-pack. Guess what? It's not ready!!! The pharmacy is empty. My prescription is not ready and the pharmacy says it will be ready in about 30 minutes! The antibiotic comes in a packet- no measuring, no counting pills. No wonder there is no one here- go somewhere else! read more

Great location, nice staff with excellent selections. Only drawback is they don't price match their website. There was an item in store that was priced significantly higher and I asked if they would honor the online price for which I was told no. Disappointing but I will still definitely return. read more

They do Covid tests in the drive thru line that make people wait 30 minutes for results. They start helping you, then help 7 other people while you wait. If you are looking for convenience or expedited service. This is not the pharmacy for you. If you're looking for prescriptions to be filled on time, this is not the pharmacy for you. Needed a midday snack, so I went next door to Walgreens to grab some cookies. I got Oreos, Lorna Doone & Wafers, as you can see the label says 3/$5. When I get to the register, the wafers don't ring up the sale price. Manager Jolly is called to the front. She proceeds to tell me the sale is for Nabisco obviously, and these are Keebler. Ma'am I know the difference however your store tag is placed in front of these right in front of the counter so it is not my fault and you should honor what the tag says. She continues to attempt to explain what I should have done by getting three of the same brand instead of stating as a Manager it was their mistake they apologize and will honor the tag and even say thank you for bringing it to their attention. But it took like 5 unnecessary minutes for her to correct the transaction so I could pay and leave. Damn I wish a CVS had been across the street bc I would have gotten my stuff there. I so didn't appreciate the back and forth that Jolly, shift, or store manager, whatever her title is had with me bc this could have been resolved much faster. I didn't want to get loud, but I be damn if you gonna try to educate me on the difference between Keebler and Nabisco, like two brands can't be combined on a sale. GTFOH she needs to do some retraining when correcting customer issues. read more

This is the absolute WORST Walgreens ever. The level of incompetence is through the roof. I put in a photo order that I had to come back a few different times for, even though I received a notification that it was finished. When I finally picked it up, the finished product had a huge bubble through the middle of it. It was a goodby present for someone and the item took so long to make that we ended up missing their goof by party. These people have no idea what they are doing. Avoid this location at all costs. My review is of the pharmacy experience. The store itself walking in is big, nicely organized/ marked, and nice and new. The pharmacy in the back is also clearly marked with signs for what you may the there for... pick up, vaccine, etc. Staff was extremely polite and knowledgeable not only with my own experience there but watching how they interacted with others who approached the counter. Even though there is a Walgreens and CVS that is closer to me than this one I will definitely come back again given the experience I had. read more

Didn't realize until after I left but they had the security guard following my mom and I around the entire store (with 6 other customers inside). I'm walking around looking at random stuff, get to checkout and pay for my items then boom. Some random employee accuses me of stealing a chapstick I pulled out of my pocket saying she saw me open the package in the store. I went to get passport photos at this location last week. Because it's a different nationality, the photo size requirements were different (but I was not aware of that). I went back a few days later to ask the clerk if I could reprint my passport photos. The clerk was very helpful. Not only did she find my original digital photos in her camera, but also, she resized and re-printed new photos for me. Her manager was also very helpful and attentive. This location is brand new and extremely convenient for Buckhead, Chamblee, and Brookhaven. The store is incredibly well organized. The parking was great. For years, I have been giving my CONSIDERABLE business to the pharmacy at Brookhaven Plaza. IT closed, and a new bigger store was opened across the street. The pharmacy DOES NOT FILL PRECRIPTIONS ON TIME, and they seem not to care. THEY DO NOT FOLLOW UP WITH DOCTORES FOR REFILLS. They have way too much business, and they lack customer service. When you call, they put you on hold ,or hang up on you. The Techs are rude and very impatient. This is not the old store where you knew everyone, including the Pharmacists. We are so excited to have our new Brookhaven Walgreens. The store is really nice and the staff are remarkable. We are always greeted upon entry and always asked if we need assistance. The pharmacy staff are really nice as well. They still have some work to do in properly notifying us when prescriptions are ready or not. I'm sure things will smooth out in time. read more
